This place is for more concerned with making money than with really helping their clients. The…read morerates are far above the norm and they will not work with insurance at all. They have set up an auto-debt from the account you give them so they make sure they get their money. If your therapist leaves this place then you cannot see that same therapist at their new location. You are stuck with either seeing a new therapist at Therapy Austin or with finding a completely new therapist outside Therapy Austin. To me that is unethical. They use the "slippery slope" fallacy that "if all of the therapists took all their clients we would go broke". Give me a break. Some therapists will leave and some clients will leave as well. To make such a heavy-handed non-compete is not necessary and it interferes with the clients best care.

And even with that highly skilled extensive network at my fingertips, Samantha has been an invaluable addition to my sexual health resource list. Not only for her vast knowledge on women's issues and sexual health, but because she truly cares on a level you simply don't find anywhere else. I use her myself, and regularly refer clients to her. In my experience (and that of my clients I've sent to her) she never fails to take all the time you need to discuss every issue & concern you're having, with in depth, next level knowledge on potential causes, treatments, and outcomes. Like I said, I have the best obgyns in Austin and the best primary care physician in town, yet over the past 3 months Samantha was able to help diagnose and treat two separate issues I was having that neither of my doctors could completely figure out! She also has an extensive menu of services for improving/maximizing sexual function, much of which most other medical professionals don't even know about. I'm happy to be a repeat customer if I get what I need from a session, and the first to take off and keep looking if it falls flat. Truth be told, Laura Ann was actually my WIFE'S go-to-gal for several months before she worked on me. And ever since, my wife and I have been at war, fighting for prime massage time slots in Laura Ann's busy weekend schedule. What I love about Laura Ann: - No massage is the same; she's very attune to the status of my body on any given day - If she finds a problem area, she sticks with it, despite what I said I was looking for when I hit the table. I'm pretty picky but from the moment Laura started, I could feel how connected and in synch she was with me. She could tell when energy was being held and released, she observed where I was holding tension, and delivered the massage at a slow deliberate pace to help release it. Oh honey, that is just the tip of the iceberg with Julia. I started seeing her at a time when I was really struggling to dismantle shame around my body and sexuality. I was also nursing a broken heart and working through some serious self-worth issues. Session by session, she worked with me, healing the parts of me that needed a bit of mending, offering a new expansive perspective. I learn so much just by being in her presence. She is one of those rare souls that exudes grounded, compassionate energy, and embodies easeful sensuality. I feel like I spend half of the time during our sessions healing because I'm close to her energy and the other half healing due to soaking in her spoken wisdom. During our sessions, I am being emotionally held and affirmed at the same time. She is so non-judgemental, caring, and empathetic.
