ResourceOne on Galloway in Mesquite is horrible!! Inside the line is always long and slow. I went through the drive in there and the lady taking care of the customers was rude, mean and appeared to hate her job. I really need to change banks. read more

I visited the North Galloway branch to inquire about checking and savings accounts and waited for nearly 20 minutes without assistance. When I finally approached a teller to ask how much longer the wait would be, she gave me a blank stare and looked confused. After I asked if there was an issue, she replied, 'I don't know if they're busy,' even though the two account executives had empty offices at the time. Frustrated by the lack of help, I left. New policy that requires shared branch banking customers is ridiculous and unsafe. The only time I ever need a branch is to deposit cash and I don't appreciate being forced to get out of my vehicle and walk through the parking lot with large amounts of cash. Stupid new policy. read more

This review isn't for the Arapaho branch specifically, but for the entity as a whole. The branch staff do what they can, but the bank is a steadily sinking ship. I found fraudulent charges on my card in the middle of February, and filed a claim. I went into the bank to get a new card printed, and was told that it wasn't possible because in the coming days a new system was going to be implemented. Fine, fair enough. Then things got stupid. My auto-payments for various bills were being declined, even though they were tied to the account number, not the card. Since I couldn't pay my bills using my account, I pulled the money out. Then NSF fees started coming in. I came back after the system upgrade, got my new card printed, and went to pay bills. The card was immediately declined. I called customer service, got to wait for an hour and change, only to find out the expiration date stamped on the card did not match the one in the system. They corrected it, and it worked for a couple days. So then I was out of town on business, and my card stopped working again. I called customer service and got to sit on hold for an hour or so, and was promptly met by somebody who was either very disinterested in the job, or was brand new. In any case, I told her my card was not working, though it had about a week prior, and she promptly transferred me to the fraud referral automated system, which indicated it didn't see any fraudulent charges associated with my phone number or card number, and disconnected the call. Mid-month bills started becoming delinquent and incurring late fees, so again I went into the branch and pulled cash out. Cue additional NSF fees. It has been a month since I reported the fraudulent transactions (not an insignificant amount, mind you,) and I have yet to receive credits for the transactions. I called for a status update (handled by a third party,) and was told provisional credits were issued days after the fraud was reported. I have reached out via the various communication systems (chat is always down, the internal messaging system appears to be plainly ignored) and have not made any headway. I've been with this bank for quite some time, but I'm done. I've opened new accounts at a much more reputable credit union, and will be closing these accounts as soon as I finally receive my credits. Avoid this organization at all costs. read more

My card was fruaded they flagged the account, they are giving me the run around on getting a new card and my money back. One person tells me 10 days the other tells me 90 days. Run...If you are a Minority and make one mistake your credit will pay for years... They will report inaccurate information on your credit report and will not fix the proplem... My wife just had a baby boy 4 months ago and NO one will finance a car for us because of the Derogatory incorrect information being reported.. Take your business to Navy Fed or PenFed!!!! To my previous complaint and Resource 1s reply....I did have full coverage insurance the entire life of my loan. I am an insurance agent. And they were sent proof more than once. Now I am having to send it again. So, once again I am saying your bank is horrible and I would advise other to stay clear of Resource 1. They have their heads up their rears. read more

They clearly are charging for check deposit images because they need the money. Some of the staff are kind, but not helpful. Also wanted to charge me for looking for the deposit images after thier URL for the images expired from a few months ago. WTF??!! read more

I t hink everyone should know how absolutely horrible this credit union truly is. I did my research before switching banks in June 2014 and tried many different credit unions and decided on Resource One. Bad decision on my part. Let me start from the top, the manager Lisa is very nice and pleasant, however sometimes it is difficult to get in touch with her due to the number of members that demand her attention, as I do too. The reason for this is the incompetent staff members that are overly unpleasant. Now the staff members, the staff is so unfriendly, especially Hilga that I even had to call the director due to her unprofessional attitude. I had brought this to Lisa's attention prior to calling the director, but apparently I was not taken seriously as a customer...or "member" as they call it. She never has a smile on her face, you will ALWAYS be a bother and she can never correct your problem, issue or concern. Now let's move on the the debit cards. We were sent a new business debit (without our permission or knowledge) due to a security breach from Home Depot. I was told that my debit card was cancelled because we used it at Home Depot and that the bank did this as a precaution to "protect" them self from financial loss. GREAT! Thanks for the notice!! But wait it gets better....they sent the card and never gave us a pin, then had to wait 7-10 business days. EVEN BETTER...THANK YOU! Now I cannot conduct business. Now the next debit card fiasco....on 1/23/15 the website and mobile app were down (surprise surprise, happens all the time, I should have not expected anything but for it to be down) and my husband had to call in to transfer money from savings to checking. Once the transaction was complete, he asked...are the funds available now? The telephone banker replied "yes!" Now we go immediately into a store and need to make TWO separate transactions, the first goes off without a hitch....the second DECLINED! OK so maybe he put in his pin number wrong, slide the card....DECLINED! BOOM embarrassment sets in. People are thinking we can not afford what we intended to buy, which was a special order item. We decide to use our business account (which is a big IRS NO NO) but since we were travelling out of town and we were already behind schedule, it was our only option. Now as it is Friday at 5:30pm and the bank is closing business for the day, I am headed out of town and my personal debit card is being declined I call back in. I get yet another idiot on the phone who tells me there is a fraud lock on my debit card. Then proceeds to tell me "you will need to contact the fraud department. " He never explains this is something that can easily be taken care of, but needless to say who cares, I just transferred the funds. I spoke with a telephone banking manager who did assist is resolving my issue but had to transfer my call. I really did not have time nor patience for this. It was not my fault. Let me not forget to mention, that your debit card limit is $500 per day. Ask them to raise the limit for a big purchase and you will be treated like the biggest idiot in the world. Explain to them that even large banks, such as Chase, can raise your limit...you will get told QUICKLY..."we are not Chase, if your want your limit raised maybe you should bank with them." Well HOT DAMN maybe I will. At least they have customer service skills unlike these unintelligent and rude bankers. This is the bank for someone who carries low balances and apparently does not keep large amounts in the bank. Unlike me who keeps a substantial amount in the bank and demands a professional to handle my banking needs. So therefore, if you choose this bank...you have been warned. read more

I have never had an experience with a bank car loan as I am currently having. My vehicle was totaled in December and I have Gap Coverage with my car loan through Resource 1 and they are finding all these trumped up charges to get out of paying my full pay-off amount. They have charged me over $800 for a 2.5 month gap in my insurance (which never occurred) and they are charging me over $700 in "apparent damages" to my car that were not part of the accident. I only had a door ding on a rear door and a missing reflector on my rear bumper. And over $400 in apparent late fee's. And none of these things were ever told to me until now! It is BS! Now I am having to go back 3 years on my insurance to find who I was with and get proof for the insurance. And fight them on the bs damage cost and the so called late fee's. I will NEVER EVER conduct any business with this Bank ever again and I suggest no one else does either. At least not for auto loans with their so called GAP coverage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i opened my accounts online and had to go in and make a deposit, (weeks after almost a month later) they were friendly and helpfull, the person who helped me was very informative and answered all my questions and even offered me additional products... i picked this bank because it offers many products to rebuild credit and has very low rates... dont get me wrong i got another major bank with open accounts but you cant beat the benefits that this credit union offers... im sorry that some of the people leaving some bad comments have to say but you should do your homework on what your looking for and make sure you invest in the right locations like i did in choosing this bank... read more

I love the convenience of this branch and friendliness of the associates! They have gone above and beyond for me on several occasions this past year and always have a smile and friendly greeting. It's been more then 5 times that they had mess with the accounts numbers every time that I make transsactions, terrible service.

To Keep everything short I went in to open a savings account to build a relationship with the bank so in the future I can purchase cars etc. Within a hour of opening my account I got approved to refinance my car. Between Louis and Vincent they were the best they took their time and explained everything I needed to know when doing the paper work. My experience was wonderful and I am not just saying this because I got a refinance I am really big on customer service :) read more

No checking account fees, amazing customer service, and they will refund all ATM fees if you save your receipts and bring them by within a month. Worst bank ever. I called and reported my debit card lost back on May 5th. Today is May 20th and I have yet to receive my card. After speaking to two representatives they said there had been a delay and that they could reorder me another card and I could have it back in another 7-10 days. Are you kidding me. Resource One Credit Union Galloway location Mesquite Texas told me to bring them a letter from my present bank showing my present bank had cleared me from Chexsystem in order to open up an account. The Personal Banker at Resource One did see where I had been a victim of Identity Theft and had been cleared by several banks except BOA. I did as I was told by the personal banker brought back a letter from my Personal Banker at WF, stating I had $2616 in my checking account and had been banking with them for over three (3) years and in excellent standing. Again I did as they told me to verify my banking credential took off work. Lo and behold the compliance department would not approve me still but the only excuse the personal banker had was that she could not get in touch with the Compliance Department and when ask to speak with a Manager, according to the personal banker they were out to lunch. They gave me the phone number to Compliance Department, but after I had been lied to saying all I needed was a letter from my present bank and banker, took off my job and could not speak with a Manager or Compliance on the spot of course this is not a Union that I would want to consider FAMILY!!!
