I brought with me two OFFICIAL bank checks from my old credit union. The bank rep said she would call the next day to clear the checks...that apparently didn't happen. So today, Thursday...I go in there to close the account after learning that there is a Credit Union that I already have an account with in the next town over.... To my surprise, I'm told my checks are on hold til OCTOBER 8!! Another teller says my old credit union "couldn't verify the checks". So I call...my old bank says..oh...YES, WE CAN ABSOLUTELY verify the checks and can do it over the phone...only for the RelyOn rep(Wendy) to NOW tell me... she didn't say that and that they just couldn't reach my old bank...because they were out on hold for 25 mins...(never mind that my old credit union has a call back process so u don't have to hold) Then she tells my old bank that now they can't verify my checks because RelyOn would have to call again on their own phone but now it's too late and my checks are on hold for another 12 days. WTH. Lying to customers because you don't know your job really affects your customers in a very negative way. Very sad. I agree with the customer who said this institution holds YOUR money for ransom!! To close..RelyOn tells me" oh there is a $33 dollar charge to close the account I never used.... Who fucking cares!! I'll gladly pay that AND drive to a whole other town to be rid of you pack of shady ass, unprofessional, inadequate liars. If you are new to Forney...take your money elsewhere...especially if you need it within the week to... I don't know ... LIVE!!! I do NOT recommend this Mickey Mouse bank!

I think Bank of America can do better with their hold times. Generally if I call in I wait for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes more. I would give 5 stars if y'all could fix the hold time for every single department. Recommendations: longer call center hours, hire more representatives to be in the queues.

Nothing bad about this location, but Chase bank as a whole has left customer service behind them…read more Chase has consistently ( on a bi-weekly basis) locked my ATM card for trying to make a $5.40 purchase on FB. I have to call the number on my ATM card and jump thru numerous hoops to get my card reinstated.....and that's only if it's during banking hours! If it's after hours I get a recording to call back during business hours!! In the meantime, my card is locked and unuseable. If I'm away from home I'd better pray I have enough fuel to get home! I've had it with Chase and am tired of all the hours I've spent over the last few years dealing with this! I'll be changing banks soon. It's a shame as I've been with Chase for close to a decade....Shame on you Chase for leaving your customers swinging in the wind because it's not during "banking hours". You had no problem making it inconvenient for ME after banking hours!! There should be some way for us to reach Chase when you lock up our accounts! Phooey to you!!!

And when I do go in, they tell me she will unlock it the next day when she is there, and to check back in 24 hours. 2 months later, it's still locked.
