They continue to amaze me…read more When someone has acquired our debit card number and tried to purchase something, even as far away as Florida, ANB Fraud Dept has stopped the transaction and notified us immediately. We have never lost a dime. ANB Rockwall loaned me money when I didn't think anybody would. They make everything so easy. Finally, the personnel at ANB Rockwall are all friendly and professional. I cannot imagine being more pleased with a bank!

I arrived with the all legal documentation needed - a Georgia death certificate, and a Chase Bank form of affidavit from Georgia allowing her heirs (me) to close out her account, and for the next 1.75 hours I was given the run around by a manager, a sales manager, and a personal banker named Logan. Logan could not make a decision on his own, the manager became aloof, and the sales manager attempted to talk me into setting up my business accounts with them. I was told that I could not close out the account because my mother passed away in a nursing home in Georgia, (and had never had a permanent residence in Georgia), and that because her legal/permanent address in Kansas was on the death certificate, it was not valid and that I needed to have the death certificate redone with the address of the nursing home as her permanent address! I could not beleive it! I countered with the fact (from Georgia Department of Health) that the permanent address listed on a death certificate must be proven by submitting a utility bill, deed, or another form of proof of residency. My mother would have had none of those items for the nursing home address! I stated to the Chase Bank employees that the State of Georgia knows what it is doing when it issues a death certificate to which the manager, in response, said that if they did not adhere to their decision and instead allowed me to close the account, then they would all be "living with you" because they would lose their jobs and be homeless. No one that I encountered displayed any common sense, and became rude when confronted with options. Decisions made by the staff have to be approved by a phone call to some vague "specialist" . Since this "specialist" is invisible to the customer, it allows the employees never to assume any responsibility for their decisions, but to pass the responsibility off to another person or entity. I was not able to close the account, and have retained an attorney.

About a year and a half ago, I opened a business account at this branch in Rockwall. Since I have…read morean account at another bank, I wanted to keep my LLC account separate from my personal account. I kept this account open for almost two years, making deposits, transactions, international transfers, and so on. My business was just starting out, and my "bank manager" kept telling me: "costs would go down as soon as my business turned a profit," "services would improve as soon as..." and other small things, but I kept the account anyway. As soon as I established my business and was ready to start selling, I went to the branch to pick up my card reader, where I would begin generating my income. With over 50,000 in inventory and hundreds of items ready for sale online and/or directly to customers, they denied me the card reader. Throughout this time, my loyalty and business with this bank, and my relationship with my manager, basically showed me that they didn't trust my business and that I wasn't worth the card reader. It was a horrible feeling, cold business, they don't care about small businesses at all. Chase for Business is a joke. Anyway, I went back to my bank and opened another business account there. They would approve it in two weeks, and I needed it yesterday, so I decided to go with Square, and I suggest everyone do the same if they need any way to receive money. Square is great, easy to use, and doesn't scam you into receiving your money. Bad bank for small businesses, stay away.

Decided not to do business with CUTX any longer because they create account numbers generating your…read moremember number as the final eight digits of an account instead of the opening digits. For example, if your member number ends in 9988 and you open multiple accounts, they will all end in 9988. So confirming an account becomes a nightmare if you switch auto payments between accounts. I was also told I wouldn't be charged an account fee because I was a veteran, yet $6 was charged every month. I'm typing this waiting in the lobby to close my accounts officially. They have one, literally one banker that can close accounts. They have one teller (one is at lunch), so the place keeps filling with people coming in. Moreover, people need to wait to see the one banker to open, close, make changes, apply for credit, etc. I doubled down calling the bank's help line because the branch is run by charlatans, but was only met with the same waiting and finally a human answered. Can't close accounts unless you email help@cutx.org. Sad state of affairs in credit unions.

The bank sent a letter that the loan is paid off. The bank continues to report to the credit bureaus that we have an outstanding debt. March and we are still being penalized.
