She made a $1000 error that the state of Colorado caught otherwise, we would have been out $1000. Anyone can make a mistake, so we decided to stick with her. This year, she quoted me one set of numbers. When I got my paperwork, the federal return was $2300 less than what she said and I had to pay the state 20 times more than what she said. After talking to her, she admitted she didn't even write the numbers she quoted me down. HOW CAN THAT BE? She said she would amend the paperwork and I asked to be consulted before she sent it in. She sent the paperwork in, I received a message that the number was $1800, Which wasn't explained by her assistant. Total lack of professionalism and still waiting for irs to clear her work, 5 months later.
