Completely fraudulent business. Spam calling me nonstop, even though I've never done business with them.

It's been a week since I completed a request to schedule a consult/appointment via their website. Crickets. Perhaps their site is broken (I did this over a weekend when they were closed). Or perhaps they just don't answer new inquiries. Either way, red flag for me and will take my time, energy and business elsewhere. read more

My wife and I moved out to Denver within the last year from NY, got married and now I work from home (among other changes) so I was pretty concerned about getting my taxes done right this year. After calling about 10 different places, I settled on Denver Tax Group and am so happy that I did. First off, before even stopping in I spoke with one of the ladies that works there (Leah) and she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful on the phone. I had to call and bug her several times to make sure I had everything I needed and she was always so sweet and I could feel how much she genuinely cared over the phone. She helped me schedule an appointment with Chad for a couple weeks out and when I got there, sure enough she was just as pleasant in person! Upon meeting Chad, we quickly came to appreciate how honest and down to earth he was. What I thought was going to be just an initial consultation turned into him willingly (at 8pm!) sitting down with us for well over an hour to get everything figured out and submitted right away. We were shocked and also thrilled to get the process taken care of in such a timely and efficient manor. Although we probably talked his ear off, he was extremely friendly and didn't rush us at all.. although I'm sure he was ready to go home for the night! Chad, Leah and team are very personable! One of my fave parts about working with them is how fast we complete my taxes: right there on the spot during our annual meeting. By the end of the session, I know more about how to do my taxes more effectively for the upcoming year and how much I'll get in my refund (just the right amount: not too much and not paying). Chad knows his stuff and is honest! He's great for people with small businesses. This is my 3rd year with the team, and I'll be back! My only suggestions for improvement would be getting updated tax tips a couple times a year and sometimes there are 1-3 day delay in email responses. But, I also know tax season is a very crazy time of year, so it's understandable :) read more

Excellent service, experienced and professional , two words : truly exceptional

I worked with Chad at Denver Tax Group. I owed just under $30,000 to the IRS. He prepared an Offer In Compromise for me. I thought I had no opportunity for this to be approved. He was very honest and professional about the whole process and didn't make an promises. He got it to them right away but the IRS Process was over 8 months. He did not forget about my case. He checked back with them on a regular basis and created a working relationship with the person handling my case. About a month ago he contacted me and said that they needed me to resign some documents. I signed and sent them to him. A week ago, he called and gave me the great news that it had been accepted...I have now received the letter from the IRS and it's official! The IRS accepted my offer exactly as I had proposed. $150/mo for 24 months. Total of $3600. And they gave me credit for the 8 months of payments. My debt has dropped from $30,000 to $2400. Based on the $3600, I'm paying 12 cents on the dollar. Whenever I read a glowing review, I always figure that it's someone who's getting paid or it's a personal friend. Is there a 10 stars option?! I have never written a review on Yelp, ever. This place deserves all the praise it can get though. First off, Leah has to be the nicest person I have ever met in my life. We were talking to each other and emailing for two weeks to set up a last minute appointment because I am a procrastinator and waited until the end of tax season to start this process. When I walked in there, she gave me a hug and was so welcoming. I felt so at ease with her immediately. Then, I met Chad. I have never met someone who is so professional and personable all at the same time. I felt right at ease with him and I had no doubts about his ability to help me with my taxes (which, granted, were probably ridiculously simple but filing in two states plus a ton of number just confuses me like crazy). He was able to make conversation with me while still getting the information he needed. He was quick, efficient, and tried to get me as much money back as possible. I assumed I'd be using TurboTax after this one confusing year in two states but now I know I'll be back for Chad's help next year. This process was so great and painless because of these two wonderful people that I don't think I'll ever have anyone else do my taxes for me again, including myself.
