Because of this, the IRS disallowed my withholding credits, my refund was never issued, and my account was flagged for lien/levy action. When I notified co-founder Tom Conradt about the errors, he responded that my email was "not sufficient in terms of credibility or specificity" rather than investigating his own firm's mistake. I've spent months correcting their errors myself, filing an amended return and complaints with the IRS and DORA. They market themselves as having tax lawyers and CPAs, but my return was prepared with apparently no CPA review despite a CPA being CC'd on my emails. AVOID THIS FIRM!

To the point where I wondered if something is "off" with him. I've never experienced in business anyone like him. He is as rude an unprofessional as it gets. Go through these reviews and you will see a consistent theme in the reviews about Tom Conradt. Something is very wrong with this guy in my opinion. Stay away from him. As a side note do a Federal public records search on him in AI. This guy is to be avoided at all costs. I also wondered what former employees would say about this place. I had a feeling so I looked them up in Glassdoor. Former employees rate senior management 1.9 out of 5. They rate Culture and Values 1.9 out of 5 also. That pretty much says it all. Good employees. We're all human and we get stressed. However, in my mind that is no excuse to be so dismissive toward a potential client. Hire an assistant to answer phones, offer to take my name and number, or at least just don't be so condescending in your tone. While I did attempt to have my taxes filed at the deadline I was under the expectation it would be filed in a timely matter and short term penalty I was ok with. Disappointingly it was filed 5 months later with a tax penalty of $3500... Understanding the average tax pricing and what they charge, I'd be cautious to file here with lack of communication and failure to meet to expectations.
