I am a general contractor in the Bay Area and have been in business for 23 years. I made the mistake of calling these irresponsible and unprofessional people to install 2 downspouts. The crass and loud secretary who answered the call told me the price was 395.00. I told her not to schedule until I confirmed as I thought the price was way too high. I got an invoice 3 weeks later for over 800.00. they did the job. The work that was done is incomplete. I refuse to be taken advantage of by this person. I got a new gutter install by Resolution Gutter last yr. Their quote out of the 3 quotes I got was most competitive aka reasonable out of the 3. The 2 other companies told me they needed to possibly remove 2 bottom rows of the cement tiles in order to install the new gutter. After ran this by Resolution Gutter, they said that's not needed to remove the bottom tiles They said if I had the extreme curved clay tiles, that could require removal.
