First there is no fees to do the activities but they had less activities because it is a true growing farm. Many animals walking around and you could purchase feed to feed the goats for a small fee. We enjoyed seeing the longhorn cattle on our way there and all the chickens walking around. We rode out to the pumpkin patch on a wagon pulled by a tractor. The pumpkin patch is really large and the ride was quite nice. We bought a small pumpkin that was reasonably priced at $4.00.

It is foaling season now so there are many darling babies, with their wobbly little legs, coming into this world nearly everyday until around late May or so. They are closely protected by their mamas and monitored by the farm staff around the clock. You can't deny that God exists when you are witness to such perfection; and to boot, one of these hopefuls could be future KY Derby, Breeders, OR Triple Crown winners. It's such an amazing experience, it's really hard to put into words. Many thanks to the Endeavor team for the KY hospitality!

As an animal lover, I was thrilled when my wife told me we were going to visit retired racehorses…read more With the cold and snow rolling in, I was worried the tour might be canceled--but thankfully, it was still on. We gathered with the other guests, warming up in the office before heading out. For us humans, the weather was a bit much, but the horses absolutely loved it. One thing that really impressed me was how interactive the experience was. We weren't limited to standing behind a fence--we were able to feed the horses carrots and admire them up close. It made the visit feel personal and unforgettable. About halfway through, we stopped in the barn to watch a short film about the farm's history and mission--an informative (and very welcome!) break from the snow. Afterward, we ventured back out to meet the remaining horses. Despite the chilly weather, we had a wonderful time. If you love animals or just want a unique, heartfelt experience, this tour is absolutely worth it.

You are able to visit these fantastic athletes up close on the tour and feed them carrots. Gorgeous landscape of rolling hills on the farm. Easy to walk. Our host was outstanding, walking us through each pour with knowledge and precision while sharing the history of both the house and the distillery. After sampling several bourbons, we took some time to explore the house before heading over to the gift shop. My wife and her friend found more than a few must-haves, especially after enjoying a couple of drinks at the bar. All in all, Bluegrass Distillers is an excellent addition to Kentucky's bourbon scene and well worth the visit.
