This is a great hotel that far exceeded my expectations. I was just staying 1 night and wanted something cheap. I found it on Priceline $80 total including taxes. I have stayed at a Residence Inn only once before and I knew their rooms were suite-like with kitchenettes and everything. I was expecting something to be wrong with the place given the highly discounted price, but it was great! It's nearly brand new, and the room was very clean. I especially loved the all-white bathroom, it is so modern and bright. Breakfast is complimentary and a pretty good hotel breakfast. They have all the standard hot items, eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc. plus standard cold items. There is not much to see in the surrounding area for tourists but if you have a car there is a decent sized shopping area right across the road from the hotel. We ended up walking over there, but it's not a great walk as the sidewalks are right next to a large highway. But it is possible to walk. I would definitely stay here again. Heck, it was nicer than my old "luxury" apartment at home.

We had a free night stay on March 18th , this hotel opened in September of 2016 . The lobby is very spacious we checked in around just after 3.30pm the front desk agent was very friendly our room was very nice the kitchen was great with electric stove which is an advantage if you want to do some cooking. A little disappointed with the pool water was cold apart from that it is a very nice hotel , we enjoyed the free breakfast buffet it starts at 7 am till 9am. Definitely come back .thanks

Huge suites!

So glad we have more options now in Pasadena and will be staying here more…read more New location, clean, great rooms with clean sheets, lots of pillows and a great desk center island for work and has the TV that can rotate to the living area or back to the bed. This bed has to be the best Hampton bed I've had in some time( I left Marriott for the Hampton Inn beds and have never been disappointed).. ! But this trip,l this was a great bed. Good large breakfast area, fresh coffee at 5am, breakfast at 6 ish I think- and a great tall table in the middle of the eating areas with lots of seats and outlets to plug in for meetings or working outside the room. Staff was friendly and had good advise for local stuff, and they have a pantry to get drinks and snacks which is always a plus. Easy access back down to 45- then to Clear Lake ( where I like to eat most of the time) and quick to Hobby Airport as well. All seemed to work great, business office was great to get my boarding pass and again, clean , new, right up my alley and what I expect from Hilton. Highly recommend.

I stay in Pasadena several times a year for about a week at a time for work. This one is always the…read morehighest price and last one available when the others sell out. There's a reason as I was reminded of tonight. For a year or so they've been undergoing renovations so you'd think some of the previous poor experiences were the result of that but this stay solidifies that's not the problem. When I walked in tonight, I'm immediately hit with the smell of mildew. Mind you- the hotel was recently renovated. How would that happen? Well spending more time in the room explains it- lack of attention to the basic details. The shower curtain doesn't come all the way down into the tub so water ends up all over the floor. Safety hazard and water issue. The bathroom doesn't have a fan you can run during shower steam- and it's not that it's just quiet- the mirror fogs and a tissue held to the vent shows no movement. Hence the mold and mildew. Also for the high price, you'd think they wouldn't just have a basic shower head but instead a handheld to make that a nicer shower experience. Heck the Fairfield in across the street goes for hundreds less a week and has tiles coming up in the bathroom and they STILL have better quality and service. (They're sold out for obvious reasons.) I'm lying in bed staring at the ceiling where they left out the ring around the fire sprinkler. It's dirty like someone's been reaching up in there and why bother finishing the job, right? My iPad is dead so I turned on the tv to wind down before bed. The guide comes up and I select a rerun on channel 40. Nope. Not available. Next channel- not available. In fact only about 5 channels are available. All news so I fess that's what we're doing. The positives are the ac seams to work, the shower had hot water so far.

The rooms are a decent size and have all of the necessary amenities. The employees here went above and beyond. The lady (Andrea I believe) at the front desk called me before our stay to ensure that she could accommodate our room requests. I was very impressed with her customer service. She called me later when our rooms were ready and when we checked in it was a breeze. The free breakfast is a plus! There's a variety of selections that everyone enjoyed and this saved us a lot of money. The property is a pretty standard Hampton Inn but his property excels in their friendly, hospitable customer service.

At one point, the heat kicked on for no apparent reason when I had my thermostat set for 72 degrees and it was 78 degrees in the room. The bed was comfortable, there was not external noise issue, and complimentary breakfast was good. I especially like the individually wrapped apples and fresh bananas. They also offer to-go breakfast bags that included a bottled water, flavor enhancer powder, an apple and a Nutrigrain bar. They have a convenient shop area by the lobby that offers beer and wine. ....| \ _ , , , - - , , _ , .../ , ` . - ' ` ' . _ \ - ; ; ; , _ ..| , a - ) ) _ . ; . This was a very good experience from check in through check out!! My husband had surprised me with…read morea trip to Houston, dinner at one of my favorite restaurants there and Wings over Houston which is a huge aiir show. We have gone to the air show several times over the past years but never stayed here. Check in was a breeze, they don't have the new automatic check in where you can use your phone to get into your room but that didn't bother me at all. I was enjoy meeting whoever is manning the desk and if needed it's always nice to be able to ask information from that person as they are usually pretty knowledgeable about the local area. We were given a room on the first floor. I did mention that I was hopeful it wouldn't be noisy and she advised that she didn't think there would be a problem. In fact it did not end up a problem at all.....despite the fact we were not that far from the ice machine and an exit door. The beautiful area where breakfast is served was right across from the reception and quite large. There was fruit flavored water available at the reception desk and I did enjoy a glass. It had fresh strawberries in it! Tom had reserved a room with two queen beds as he had thought that our youngest grandson might be coming along. The room and the bathroom were spotless. It was ice cold so the air worked very well. The bed linens are high quality, and the bed was very comfortable. It was easy to settle in for a rwo night stay! In addition to being clean the bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner all mounted to the wall in the shower/tub area which I have grown to really enjoy. I like not having to deal with all the little tiny bottles and slivers of soap!! Plenty of plush towels were available and a hair dryer! One of two tiny negative aspects was that the showerhead must've been extremely water saving which I understand (but I need at least enough water to get the soap out of my hair) so maybe ours was defective, i'm not sure. Breakfast the next morning was very nice. Lots of options, all the usual suspects of fruit, breads, sweets, cereals, waffles eggs, sausage, juice, milk, yogurt, and some delicious hot coffee! Speaking of the coffee it was the second little, tiny negative. They need new pump coffee pods desperately. Unless you take the handle all the way up and pump it all the way down every single time you will think the pot is empty. Thank goodness one of the ladies That was monitoring the breakfast came over when she saw that I thought they were out of coffee and explained that you must not just pump but literally take the handle all the way up and all the way down every time. This was a tiny glitch but I'm hoping that when she advised that new coffee pots had been ordered-that that is accurate! I'm not sure what kind of coffee they use but it was one of the best I've ever tasted and super hot!!!! After spending all day outside at a very chilly cloudy air show it was a great place to come back to Saturday night. There were many, many places to grab a bite to eat very close by so we actually grabbed supper before we went back to our room. Check out was also a breeze. We turned in our keys which you can do or you don't have to and I think the gentleman who was on duty for the great stay that we had. It was very enjoyable! This property will be our go to whenever we need to stay in this area of town!!!! We highly recommend you give it a try!!!!

My room had a slightly different smell but still not good. It smells old, maybe it's coming from the carpet or the walls. My AC was really loud and I couldn't sleep peacefully. I did like the free breakfast. But I didn't like that they don't have a lounge... I like those for chilling after work to grab a snack and drink.
