This is a great hotel to stay if you're visiting the NASA Space Center! The parking is free! There are many food establishments in the area. The area felt safe. The room was clean and had enough towels for 4 people. The pool is indoor and on the smaller side but I loved that they had a jacuzzi. The floors around the pool were always wet and is definitely a hazard for slipping. There are pool towels near the entrance of the pool. This hotel does not offer free breakfast but they have an in house restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. Overall, this is a hotel that we will return in the future.

This is a picture of the portion of the hallway that is torn up and has wet cement. You can see guests' footprints in the cement.

"If you don't like it, then you can stay somewhere else," was the response from the front desk attendant when I complained about the various major issues at this property. Issues include: 1.) I had to get FOUR replacements for my room key because the lock did not work. As of right now, I cannot get into my room & the afore mentioned front desk attendant had to let me in. No word on what I'm supposed to do if I have to leave my room again... 2.) Hotel seems to have "dips" in the floor, and today they declared that these "dips" were not safe (I have to wonder why they allowed guests to walk and stay on this floor if they were so unsafe to begin with ). So, they decided to re-cement the hallway floor. My issue was not the re-cementing, rathe it is they did not warn the guests, or put up any signs indicating what was happening. All of a sudden, two guys were in the hallway today pulling up the carpet and putting cement down. They left the carpet bunched up in the hallway with wet cementwhen they went home for the night. Consequently, many guests walked through the wet cement & bunched up carpet to get to their rooms. If there were an emergency overnight, then the bunched up carpet creates its own safety concern. 3.) My toilet, barely flushes. When I brought all of these frustrations to the front desk, she said, "I'm sorry you feel that way." She neither offered empathy nor solutions. However, I am taking her advice, and the next time I am in this area, I will be staying at the Hampton Inn down the street. UPDATE: Property Manager NEVER contacted me, even though I requestwd to be contacted about this truly horrible stay! If they didn't contact me about THIS, then my guess is if aomething goes wrong they would not you about your issues at their property.

Dirty room when checking in.

So when checking in at 10pm on 6.3.24 I walked into the room they gave me and it had not been cleaned. It had a pizza box, an un made bed and other random things/trash all over the room. When I went back to the front desk and told them I needed a different room the clerk asked me why and I showed him the picture. After looking at the picture he gave me a new room/suit. When getting into the new room it smelled like mold and old booze. I would not recommend staying here for the price of the room and the quality of the work the staff and management put into the rooms when cleaning them.

The Bridal shower for my gorgeous friend, took place here in their event room, Great space to honest this event. The staff was accommodating with sanitizing our bride squad flute glasses; in their kitchen, dishwasher, and event set them up on display.

I had to sleep on the mattress protector and there's no pillow cases

I've been staying here for about a week and everything was fine the first few days but towards the end they started to get lazy, not only did house keeping not come into my room and clean up I called for a sheet change and they told me "not after 12" even thought they didn't come in the morning. I was forced to sleep on the mattress protector. The front desk man had an attitude about giving us towel even though they didn't come give us any and when we asked for more soap we received a small bar of dove

Smelly Floor Drain Vent... Paaa...Yuke!

Not staying here again. Paaaaa-Yuke! First, key-card didn't work. Ok, fine things happen. I get it, I am not at a "Five-Star hotel. The hotel front desk clerk was nice enough to come with me on the second trip to make sure the key worked and it did! Yeah, I am in. First things first, got to go pee. Bathroom? A zero out of 10. The floor in the bathroom has some weird drain in the middle of the floor releasing this horrendous sewer gas smell. Covered with two towels and I pretty sure most of the stench is now filtered. Awh, time to order room service. Food was 2 out of 10, but the worst was unwrapping the silverware for the polyester napkin to find unwashed utensils... gag, gag, gag. Call room service up and they quickly brought up new napkins and utensils. The oddest part was the room service attendant, blamed the dishwash. I am certain that the dishwasher isn't the person wrapping silverware. To have her blame that person instead of own it, was the last I could take. So, here I am in this very hotel waiting for my Uber Eats to arrive and I so happy tonight is my last night here. Highly DO NOT Recommended!

I stayed here at the Holiday Inn because the price was good and so was the location. It is conveniently located near the Space Center of Houston, Kemah Boardwalk and Galveston. The people who work here were so nice and courteous. When I checked out, Yvonne assisted me. She is from the Austin area so she knew exactly where we were from. She was so helpful and assisted us in finding the local hotspots. The room was clean and spacious. It was a pretty big room. Lots of space to move around in. Parking is free. Indoor pool and gym. They have a bar and restaurant downstairs. That place was ALWAYS packed! Only pitfall is wifi. Once I was connected, the connection was so slow and kept disconnecting. I'm assuming since they were packed this weekend that there may have been so many people connected to the wifi. I will definitely be back!

I travel on a regular basis. And when I do, my preference is to stay at a Marriott-owned hotel,…read moremostly because I can almost always count on my following top-five priorities being met: * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are almost always very clean. * Safety: Entry into the rooms is almost always via an indoor hallway, where entry is obtained through the front lobby or by key-card access into one of the main hallways. * Quietness: Whether I'm traveling for work or for pleasure, I like to feel well-rested for a better day afterwards. And, these hotels are usually pretty quiet. * Free perks: As an elite member of this hotel chain, most of the time I get free perks during every stay. These are usually simple (like free bottled water), but they're appreciated. * A good membership program: Marriott offers a very good membership program for their elite members. It gives me the ability to earn free stays for the future (for pleasure) by choosing to stay here for business. Within the Marriott chain of hotels, SpringHill Suites is one of my favorites because the rooms most often have: * A comfortable living and work space * A good sized TV * A mini refrigerator * A microwave * A well supplied free continental breakfast * All-day free coffee available in the lobby Now, on to the details for my stay at this particular hotel, at the SpringHill Suites, by Marriott (in Webster, Texas). The primary reason I came here was for a week-long business trip. Most of my expectations for this hotel (noted above) were met, but this place had several disappointments. These included: * This hotel gave away all rooms with a king-sized bed, even though I reserved one in advance. * There was no "Do not Disturb" sign for my room, so I was interrupted when I did not want to be. * On my floor, the 6th floor, the entire hallway smelled moldy, and they had fans blowing continuously to try to mitigate the terrible smell. The hotel management should not have even given any customers a room on this floor, but they did. * The A/C system in my room was terribly loud, so much so that I could not keep it running at night because it kept me awake. This was terrible, especially since it was the summertime. * Also with the A/C system, this could be an indicator that the A/C system in my room was going out because it was also unable to keep up with the summertime demand during the day. After returning at the end of my workday, every day, it was always uncomfortably warm in my room, even when the A/C system was programmed to maintain a comfortable temperature. * My magnetic room key stopped working on two separate days, locking me out of my room each time. This was incredibly annoying because after realizing this, I had to go down to get my key remade each time, only then regaining access to my room. * My room was not serviced by room service on three of the five days I was here. * The ice machine did not work on my floor, the 6th floor, the entire time I was here. So, I had to go to another floor every time I wanted ice. * The deadbolt lock to my hotel room door was unable to lock for the entire time I was here because the lock in the door was misaligned with the door frame. This was disturbing, especially from a safety/security perspective. * Upon checkout, I asked the hotel to change the credit card I used during my stay. The young lady I asked said that she did this, but I could see that she did not actually do this after returning from my trip. I then had to call the hotel to get this credit card changed. Unfortunately, most of the hotel staff does not even pick up the phone. I ended up calling over fifteen times over three days, where I either got a random voicemail message or I got hung up on. This is terrible customer service. Overall, I liked this hotel, but there were just too many things that were annoying to even give this location an average rating. Therefore, I have to rate this location as a "below average" experience. To me, having so many problems that a customer can experience just shows negligence on the management's part, which made me tempted to rate this as a 1-star experience. But again, you can see that this hotel was nice (from my pictures), so I'll rate this as two stars. This hotel clearly has the potential to be a 5-star worthy location, but the management just needs to make more of an effort for their customers.

This unexpected and difficult situation brought us from Plano, and we could not have asked for a more caring place to stay during such a stressful time. From the manager and front desk staff to housekeeping and the amazing breakfast ladies, everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate. They prayed for our grandson, asked about him every day, and genuinely cared about how he was doing. It felt much more like staying with family than staying at a hotel. Our room was exceptional and kept beautifully clean throughout our entire stay. The bed had a new, extremely comfortable mattress, which made a big difference after long and exhausting days at the hospital. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The biscuits and sausage gravy were especially good and quickly became one of my personal favorites! The entire hotel was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. I would give this Hampton Inn & Suites a 5+ star rating without hesitation. When we visit our daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons in League City, this will always be our first choice for a place to stay. And, most importantly, our grandson received wonderful care from the amazing surgeons and nurses at Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital. He was able to go home feeling good and with a very good prognosis. We are so grateful for the kindness and prayers we received from everyone during such a difficult time. Thank you to the entire Hampton Inn & Suites team for making a challenging 10 days feel a little more like home.

This Fairfield Inn & Suites was so similar to the Arkansas one! Love the clean, new, crisp modern look. We picked it because of the proximity to EVERYTHING. Seriously, it is so close to everything we wanted to do. I might start this review with my main negative since it was at check-in. (Get it out of the way and move on to the wonderfulness of this hotel.)My husband booked a 3-night stay for one of our kids and I to have a little staycation here, something we have never done before. Upon arriving, the lady at the desk was very... curt... with me when I said check-in under my husband's name. She asked where he was (because he apparently never added me to the reservation, something he never thought to do since we have NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE.) Anyways, without even saying another word to me, she was shaking her head and got on the phone. I didn't even know she was CALLING HIM until she (curtly again) said, "You're not going to be able to check-in unless your husband answers the phone." So I texted him to pick up. Luckily, she was able to verify with him that I wasn't a psychopath checking in under his name. Needless to say, checking in was not pleasant and didn't sit well with me. I felt treated like a child. Sigh, ok, I vented that frustration.... Now onto more positive vibes. Like I said, the hotel is gorgeous. Our room was on the first floor not far from the lobby. When we stepped into our 3-day sanctuary, we were shocked with how HIGH the ceilings were! I would guess they were around 12ft tall! The 2 queen beds were super comfy and we slept awesome! (WARNING: The corners of the bed platform stick out a good 3 inches at the foot of the bed. This was hidden by the poofy comforter and while walking by, I hit my shin on it and went down like I was shot. MAN!!! It %#$&-ing HURT!!! Anyways, the bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. They have built-in shampoo, conditioner and body wash which is so much nicer than the mini bottles hotels used to give out. I have to say, I don't recall hearing any other guests while in our room. Super quiet hotel. We usually bring our roku to hotels so we can watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. but luckily we didn't even need it here! The TV had Netflix on it!!! All I needed to do was scan a QR code and I was logged into our Netflix account in mere seconds! One of the reasons I like this hotel brand is for the included breakfasts. Now, I DO oh-so-much miss my beloved cinnamon rolls from Holiday Inn Express but the breakfast here is pretty good as well. They had make-your-own Belgian waffles, (2 mornings they had) scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits (one day with gravy too), our last day they had Sausage, egg and cheese croissants breakfast sandwiches (WHICH WERE SO AMAZING) along with little spinach quiches. These hot items were in addition to the usual: oatmeal, toppings bar for oatmeal including: granola, pecans, chocolate chips, Craisins, coconut flakes, etc. various cold cereals, variety of yogurt, bread for toast, English muffins, one day they had bagels, blueberry muffins and some fresh fruit (bananas, mandarins, apples). The coffee was (sigh) not good. Their normal coffee was a BOLD variety and in my humble opinion, it tasted burnt... like they brewed an ashtray. I switched to the decaf, which was a blond roast and tasted MUCH better (tho, minus the caffeine). At check-in I was told breakfast was 6-9am but it was literally still out every day well past 9. This hotel has a decent fitness room (which I didn't utilize this trip) with several cardio machines (each with individual TV screens!) and a cable weight system. (I don't recall seeing free weights but maybe they weren't visible from the door). The indoor pool was utilized by my child every. single. day... even 2x in a day, one of our days. Like another reviewer said, THE POOL IS COLD. Despite bringing my suit, I didn't go in... I don't like cold pools. My kid would jump in and be freezing for a bit and get used to it. Similarly, the pool in the Little Rock Fairfield was ice cold too. I guess I don't understand why Fairfield's indoor pools are so dang cold. It's not enjoyable. Even in the dead of summer I don't want to jump into an ice bath of a pool. No one else was ever with us in the pool so it was all to ourselves. Aside from the check-in issue, the staff overall were friendly. We even interacted with the check-in lady several additional times and she was fine. No rudeness anymore. All in all, despite the unwelcoming check-in, cold pool and ashtray coffee, we LOVED our stay. My husband wants us to do a family staycation here so he can experience it too!
