Walking in to an empty restaurant at 5:30 isn't a good sign, add in a sign saying "please wait to be seated" at an unattended host stand wasn't real warming yet there we stood. When we get seated the wait for service wasn't long but the personality of the server was as vacant as the host stand and the side room we were placed in felt like I was in timeout. The room had a closed bar and like 12 TVs all with the same ESPN news desk, no sports or replays just a dude talking on 12 TVs. Live sports started at 6 and yet I'm still watching a stale news room. The main "arcade" room and bar was empty so why stick us off to the side? With a dozen tables in the "arcade", only 1 taken, there was no reason to be set aside. Hell if we stayed near the games and bar we may have spent more money than we did but being tucked away we felt unwelcome. That and the manager and servers commandeered an arcade table to hold their stuff and sit and chat. The taco pizza we ordered was rang in as a build your own which was cheaper but why? The "specialty" pizzas should be cheaper than a build your own with the exact same ingredients. The only reason to do that was for her to try and increase her tip. I really enjoyed playing virtual soccer with my family. It was a really fun experience, but all good things usually have a negative. That was our food. Don't get me wrong the food was great and all. It was just a really really long wait. I got my drink after I got my food and appetizer. They kept walking past and gave out appetizers to the people next to us and we were like "we're right here, open your eyes." The ambiance was great the people were having fun all around. I'm originally from Toledo, now living in a larger city out West. Needless to say, when we come to visit I don't expect to be wow'd by restaurants and such; I come for family. But my sister and family suggested we go here for a fun dinner and we were not disappointed. I was actually thoroughly impressed!! We went for an early dinner, so it was very much still kid-friendly time (I'm told after a certain time there's no one under 21 allowed & becomes more bar scene - which I can totally see how that too would be fun!) Arcade games for the kids (some were even FREE!), sand volleyball, golf simulator all with a fairly decent craft beer selection (not amazing - but definitely not bad... prolly about a dozen options). We had the pickle bread, couple pizzas, & burgers and everything tasted delicious. I was also able to get my pizza "crust less" style, which is served baked in this disposable 8x8 pan, which I thought was pretty awesome if you're carb/gluten conscious. Anyways, couldnt recommend this place enough! We'll be back next time we're in town. read more

When I heard that another Barcade would be opening in the Toledo area, I was pretty psyched. Having grown up in the late 70s and 80s, I have a deep, nostalgic fondness for classic video games. And, I like beer. Unfortunately, Reset in Rossford/Perrysburg doesn't quite pull it off. GAMES: Reset has some old school video games, but not that many. And, the ones that they do have are pretty pedestrian. You'll find Ms. Pacman, Street Fighter II, and Joust, but you won't find Star Castle or Rip Off. And, you sure as shit won't find Snap Jack!! PIZZA: The quality of Cameo's pizza these days is pretty sorry. It's well below average for Toledo. I ate at Cameo's on Monroe street in Sandusky for years, and the pizza was great...but this ain't Sandusky, and now ain't then. The sauce has, essentially, no flavor, and the crust isn't anything to write home to Sandusky about. Yeah, I was very disappointed. SERVICE: Here's a positive: The barmaid was really quick to take my order and serve up my small pepperoni pizza. It was REALLY quick - I barely had time to rack up 20,000 points on Tron before my pie came out (unfortunately, again, the pizza was kinda crappy). ATMOSPHERE: I like it...lots of 80s memorabilia on the walls and on the bar. Take a close look at some of the decor and you'll remember things you haven't thought about for 30, or more, years! Another positive: Unlike the Monroe street Reset location, kids ARE allowed to enter...at least until 7pm...then it's 21 and over only. I'll give Reset in Rossford/Perrysburg a "three star" rating just because I was happy with the draught beer selection, and the nostalgic decor. Well this stinks! I have eaten here three times and they have been great! No problems with the door or the staff. The kids love it because the games and the tv's. This Fourth time we went well not so good. We had hair in a pepperoni pizza and a cheesy bread. Now the hair was in the dough and it was keeping the pizza together... we told the manager and the took care of us but I found out they do not make their own dough for the pizza.. I was told it was outsourced so whatever company that makes their dough that it's their fault... To me this is not gonna fly anymore after the hair in the food. I will not be going there for awhile and would not recommend it to people right now. They need to make their pizza dough in house and be more accountable for the food.. On a recent trip to visit my wife's family I noticed Reset served Cameos pizza. If you are from Sandusky you know Cameos pizza. Growing up in the 80's and 90'd it's where you went for pizza. In a rare departure from popular opinion, I really liked Reset. We went early on a Saturday afternoon for a fundraiser and decided to eat (and take shelter from the aggressive late summer bees). Our friendly bartender suggested the buffalo chicken dip which was delicious and perfect for two. It came with an ample amount of flat bread for dipping. The meatballs were great. You get eight served lollipop style. We went with marinara which was on the sweeter side. Parmesan cheese was $0.25 extra -- I suppose we should have just asked for a shaker? It wasn't baked on but sprinkled on. Whatever. Our pizza was untraditional: the Fireballz pizza is served with a delicious hot BBQ sauce and the jalapeños were NOT deseeded which I truly appreciate. I love spicy food but more often than not I'm "burned" by the lack of heat. This pie delivered. All in all we would definitely go back. I wasn't counting my beers, but our bill came to $28 -- very reasonable, in my opinion, considering we were very hungry and still had food to take home. read more

This is my second - and definitely not the last! - time eating the deliciousness that is Cameo Pizza. And if you like alfredo, and if you love pizza, get the chicken alfredo pizza (sans tomatoes, add extra parm and mushrooms - trust me on this)! Highly recommend it! The sauce they use for it is mind-blowingly awesome. Word of advice, though - don't order online through the website provided, because the driver situation was kiiind of a nightmare! I really wanted to like this place. We went for drinks and apps and games. Many games were broken. I get it- they're free. However, many of the paying games were also broken. Now, when I pay $1 for 1 minute of entertainment, I expect it. The bartender, who we were directed to the 3 times we lost our $$, quite obviously wanted NOTHING to do with us. Former bartender here.. I get it.. but I never worked at a place whose claim to fame was Gaming. The 2 stars:. One for our actual server, who was nice. One for the pretzel app. I didn't eat it, but my kids were happy. I have been to this location twice. Both times the waitstaff have been great and food has also been delivered in a quick fashion and tasted good. We had my sons family birthday party here. I made a reservation for 12 at least a month ahead and the day of, it changed to 19 they said "no problem" and were great about it! I also had a problem bringing up a coupon on my phone and was the the verge of a full meltdown (you know how it is when you have a family gathering and tons of kids) the manager was extremely helpful and got it handled. We had 5 pizzas (Cameo vegetarian, Cameo deluxe/Supreme, Pepperoni, cheese and a half and half.) and they were very tasty. They also let me bring in my own cake which made me super happy. They made the day easy for me and I will recommend them to everyone. They also gained several customers that day because a lot of the adults in the group were from Bowling Green and Fremont had never heard of Reset and had just as good a time as the kids. This was the absolute worst experience at a restaurant experience we have ever had. We were seated no waitresses or hostess came over to get drinks. We walked out to the patio area and we were looking to celebrate a 21st birthday. we were greeted by the worst bouncer on the patio whom took our Id and rudely told us we couldn't come here because the license wasn't renewed after 3 days.
