    Avoid at all costs…read more This was one of the most frustrating and exhausting customer service experiences I have ever had. I purchased a Wine & Green tour through Groupon as a gift. Kavasa canceled the tour. What should have been a simple refund turned into weeks of chaos, excuses, and delays. Timeline of what I went through: * Dec 13- I bought the wine and green tour as a gift for Christmas, comes with a gift box that the recipient can open on Christmas. They said the box would be delivered to me on Tuesday dec 23. The tour is scheduled for Jan 17th. * Dec 23- I reach out because gift box has not been delivered yet and it's getting late. They tell me they tried to call me in the morning (no missed call from them) and that my payment hadn't been cleared (yes it had been). They say no worries we will deliver it to you tomorrow (Christmas Eve). I did finally receive the gift box. * Jan 2- I reach out to ask for more information regarding times, addresses, etc. They said they will reach back out on Jan 9 with all information. * Jan 9- I reach out in the morning, in the afternoon, and again in the evening- no response. * Jan 10- I receive a reply saying they will have an update on Monday Jan 12. * Jan 12- they contact me in the evening to tell me there is still no update, but will have the update before the end of the night. Did not get an update. * Jan 13 (evening) - I was notified the tour was canceled. I was offered replacement options or a refund. I chose a refund immediately. They offered a complimentary dinner for the troubles to go along with my refund. * Jan 14 (morning) - I followed up. I was told the refund would be submitted and my complimentary dinner would be scheduled to be delivered on Sunday, Jan 18. * Jan 18- It's 6:15pm and no dinner was delivered so I reached out. They claimed that there were forms that weren't signed that were emailed to me. I never received any emails. I ask for it to be delivered Wednesday instead. They said someone would be in contact with me the following day, Monday Jan 19. * Jan 19- I reach out, no reply. * Jan 20 - I receive a email stating that I've received "too many discounts". That dinner was taken back and called a "miscommunication." I formally escalated the matter after weeks of dodgy behavior and broken promises. * Jan 22 - Kavasa admitted in writing that their systems are outdated, that human error occurred, that processes failed, and that miscommunication happened. They claimed they submitted my refund to Groupon. Groupon had no record of any refund request until I personally escalated. Every single time I was told they would reply "later today" or "tomorrow," nothing happened. I always had to reach back out myself. They also contradicted themselves by saying my voucher was "never redeemed," yet claiming they had the right to redeem it and subtract value -- and that they "waived" that option. You cannot have it both ways. They even listed discounts and item values I never asked for, as if I owed them -- for a service they canceled. Only after I escalated directly with Groupon did my refund finally begin processing. This was exhausting, unacceptable, and completely avoidable. If you value your time and money, do not risk it here.
