Nice sized portions. CONS: Very old building with parking lot from Hell, difficult to pull into. Suburban biker types dressed like Hulk Hogan are everywhere. No operational air conditioning. We were in Detroit for the weekend for a concert at Ford Field. We were staying nearby, and wanted…read moreto visit the Eastern market, so Zeff's seemed to be the place to be for breakfast. We were able to be seated right away. We both chose to get omelettes. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette, which comes with hashbrowns and toast. My fiancé ordered the omelette that came with ham, bacon, sausage, and corned beef. Both meals came out promptly. The food was delicious, and the hashbrowns were not completely shreds, there were a lot of flat pieces, but was very crispy which I appreciated. My only complaint was that my "ham and cheese" omelette also had sausage and corned beef in it. It must've been on the flat top when they made my fiancé's and a part of his got into mine. I wasn't a big fan of their sausage, but I just picked those pieces out and was fine. We were there early, and saw several orders of Coney dogs with all the works being served, so those must be a big hit here at any time of day. The bathrooms were surprisingly nice and clean, so that was a plus.
