We used Erasto previously to add Plantation shutters to our windows. We had him repair one as we had an issue with a split or half door off the kitchen which restricted access to the utility room. Erasto came up with a great idea of making the door one piece and although we were a little concerned how it would look there was no need to worry as it was fabulous, his idea was perfect. Highly recommended and a great person too, always happy and clearly enjoys his work. read more

Really good shop if your looking for anything in the area as far as blinds, shades, shutters, repairs, etc. I had a very small blind repair job that they handled promptly and with a smile. Like any service provider, make sure they give you a quote beforehand. 5 stars. read more

This local small business delivered well manufactured, competitively priced , shades for my new home. The owner wore a mask and took off his shoes without being prompted. He delivered a quality shade product and they were installed within days of ordering. I highly recommend this business read more

Erasto over at Reseda shade is a real pleasure to work with. He is professional and knowledgeable and most importantly responsible. For example: We found out later that we weren't happy with our bathroom shade as it was semi-translucent, and Erasto gladly and without any extra charges swapped it out for one with a blackout liner. Most other people would complain and at least charge for the materials cost. His after service is great, he came by after the job was finished and money was sent to help us with little details, such as how low the shades hung, etc. This was all without complaint or extra charges. Finally, he helped repair the mistakes of others, including our sagging curtains done by someone else. He knew exactly what to do to fix our problems at minimal cost instead of making us redo everything. I can't recommend Erasto highly enough, with him you can trust that you will be taken care of at a very reasonable price! read more

This place is the BEST! I was desperate for help after being let down by a large corporate retailer that measured the window in my home incorrectly; which led to the wrong custom blinds being ordered and cut, not to mention a huge waste of time. I needed a quick solution seeing as this was a bit of an emergency situation (dog ate the blinds barking at an amazon delivery days before my roommate was due home from a trip...). I called Reseda Shade and not only did they come through, they cane through in two hours! Custom cut blinds were cut, delivered and installed within two hours of me calling! Incredible service with true professionals, great quality, and very good prices! I couldn't be happier, I highly recommend!!! read more

Best service, nicest and most professional too. Ordered blackout cellular shades and they are perfect for our very sunny room - and then Erasto found parts to fix a very old version of shade no longer made, something many companies would not bother doing. Highly recommend this company and their servicemen ! Donna, Porter Ranch read more

Based on the Yelp reviews, we gave Reseda Shade a shot, re vertical & mini blinds that we were replacing. We are very happy that we did! Erasto came over the same day that we called and took the time to review all of the current options & materials for the blinds. The installation was clean & fast, and the blinds fit perfectly. Reseda Shade is now our first choice for all our shades & blinds needs. read more

I worked with Reseda Shades for two separate purchases and am completely satisfied with both experiences. Erasto is always on time, professional, and personable. He makes great suggestions so that I get the results I'm looking for. He really knows his materials and understands how the nuances of each fabric affect the final result. I love the battery operated shades in my kitchen where manual controls would be hard to reach. I really appreciate the top / bottom opening shades that let me choose the sky or the view from the window. During my second purchase experience with Reseda Shades, Erasto changed the batteries in my kitchen shades for me as well. After two very successful experiences with Reseda Shades, I had to write this review. It's really a pleasure to deal with a local business that does such a great job! read more

Erasto and his team did a wonderful job in our home and exceeded expectations. Communication was easy, price was fair, and the shades were installed quickly and accurately. I highly recommend anyone to use this company, and the best part is that Erasto is a really nice guy. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in doing a great job. That's about as much as you can ask for. Support your local businesses! read more

Called Reseda Shade Co. because I wanted to deal with a small local company rather than a national chain or a Home Depot, Lowe's etc. I wanted a person whom I could count on for follow up customer service. I wanted a company that cared, not a company that was represented by different locally owned and operated people. Erasto the owner came out, measured, discussed our needs and budget and made suggestions IN OUR FAVOR! His final estimate and total beat all others! Two weeks later, he brought out our order and professionally installed our blinds in all the rooms we ordered. He was fast, clean and cordial. Everything we were looking for and more. Our blinds are beautiful. He mentioned that if ever there were a problem to please just give him a call and it would be taken care of. Perfect! read more

Erasto came by to give us a quote the same day we called and within a week our order was in and installed. The honeycomb shades came out great and we are very happy with the purchase and customer service. The price was very reasonable and took a quarter of the time it would have taken for home depot to install. I would highly recommend to anyone needing shades/blinds installed. read more

I ordered over 10 shades from Reseda shades. The owner was very friendly and assured me that if there is any problems they will come out for free to adjust it. One of the shades has a bib crease in the middle and he said it will go away in a few days. It never did. I contacted him again and he said he will replace it. Plus one of the other shades stopped functioning. Since than I left him 4 massages during last 3 months and he never called me back. read more

What a find on Yelp. Another extraordinary business with great reviews that were replicated in my work with Erasto. Professional, timely, thoughtful with good suggestions, consultation for what to use for each window based on need, selection price and options. He was patient, caring and most helpful. I feel lucky to have found a remarkable shades business to have and also send referrals. Do NOT hesitate to call and know you will be please with end product. Every step of the way was perfect. Thank you Erasto for making this a seamless experience at a good cost as all. Will continue to use you again. read more

We purchased a new construction and needed coverings for 25+ windows. I called around and decided to set up an appointment with Erasto based on his numerous 5-star reviews on Angie's List. We met at his office in Reseda where he showed us various options. He set us up with temporary shades while we waited for our order to arrive (about 1.5 weeks later as promised). The day of installation, he worked quickly and thoroughly cleaned up after himself. I changed my mind about one covering and he gave us the replacement for free. I highly recommend Erasto and the team at Reseda Shade if you're in the market for window coverings. He was professional, punctual, extremely easy to reach and knowledgeable. Plus his prices were fair. What more could you ask for? read more

Erasto (the owner) came to my home and gave me various recommendations and quoted me a very resonable price on shades for 7 windows. The shades were delivered and installed about a week after our initial meeting. I can't say enough good things about Erasto and his attitude and overall willingness to please the customer. I've worked with some bad contractors and Erasto and his company Reseda Shade are at the completely opposite end of the spectrum. I highly recommend to have him be one of your choices if you're looking for bids on a project. read more

They did an excellent job at installing blinds in the house. The entire process was nothing but smooth. The material/labor were a fair price, the installation took less than the hour, and we got exactly what we wanted. No hassle at all. Recommend 100% read more

What can I say these guys were incredible!! I had a problem with my blinds. The main problem was with the head rail. I called them. They scheduled an initial appointment. He came sharp on time at 8 am. Not a min later not a min sooner. I was really impressed with it. he told me I had to change my head rail. Most guys would try to up sell me to change my blinds which would have costed me more than a 1000$ but not him. He said yea we can do it no problem. I paid him the deposit. Three days later he came home again with all the parts took like 30 mins to swap the head rail and baam!! My blinds are working again. Very very good. They cleaned up after themselves. Really nice guy. If you have to get some blinds stuff done call him. He is local he is honest. I am a very happy customer. read more

I purchased 16 sets of horizontal blinds and one set of vertical blinds from Reseda Shade about 3 years ago. Installation went well other than one minor glitch, and Erasto came right back to fix that. Just recently, nearly 3 years after this purchase, I had some difficulties that were MY fault and Erasto came to the rescue. Very good product, very good prices, very good service. Zero complaints. Reseda Blinds and Erasto have earned a grade of A+. With no hesitation, I will recommend Reseda Blinds to friends and family. read more

Very professional and the real blinds experts. I had 2 other companies come to my house for an estimate before I found reseda shade. Upon my friend's recommendation, I gave Reseda Shade Co a try. Ernesto and his team did a fantastic job. My husband and I couldn't decide on a window treatment for our sliding glass door. We have pets so vertical blinds were out (the rattling would drive me crazy), there wasn't enough room for curtains, and shutters were too impractical. I like it bright and don't want the door covered, but my hubby wanted at least an option for privacy. Ernesto to the rescue! He suggested the vertical honeycomb pull shade (so easy and on a track), and it is perfect for our needs. I can open it up all the way for brightness, but we can close them for when we want a bit more privacy. So both of us are happy! I will try and attach pictures to this review. We ended up choosing wooden shutters for the rest of the house (except for vinyl ones in the master bath due to humidity). We also have two "can't reach" windows, so we installed remote-controlled honeycomb shades. The price was great, and Ernesto and his team were on-time and professional and kind. They even finished the job faster than expected. We are SO happy and will forever use Reseda Shade Co for any future needs. read more

Had them come out for a quote on shades. Owner arrived on time and was friendly. He suggested a particular type of shade. He claimed said that they were manufactured by the same company as Hunter Douglas but under a different brand name and as a result were significantly less expensive. I had a great experience with Reseda Shade Co. I called to have my window blinds serviced because they were stuck in the "up" position and wouldn't go "down" to block the sun from blasting in my south-facing windows. Mr. Trejo, from Reseda Shade Co., came to my house and solved the problem in one minute flat. The blind was not stuck, I simply wasn't knowledgeable enough to get it to operate since it was pulled up too tightly. He laughed -- a lot. Yes, I felt silly, but he had come to my house so I expected to be charged for the service call. He took pity on me and didn't charge me at all!! He was so polite, nice and understanding. I would recommend him on the basis of his quick service, kindness, and knowledge of blinds. read more

I always do a ton of research before selecting a company for home upgrades. We selected Reseda Shade Co for its affordable pricing on high quality blinds for our new home. Erasto, our co rep was great to work with and gave us a ton of awesome recommendations for the material and color of our blinds. He and his team installed blinds on about 14 windows quickly and efficiently. I couldn't be happier for how everything turned out. Months after our install, we noticed that one of the blinds didn't fold perfectly on one side, so he immediately came out and replaced the entire thing free of charge. They definetly stand behind their product and work hard to make the customer happy. We've recommended Reseda Shade Co to several friends and will be using them again in the future. read more

Erasto, first off, thank you for installing our plantation shutters. We had Reseda Shade come out and give us a quote (2 weeks ago). Erasto, was very professional and only took 30 minutes to measure and quote me on price. Although price was a little higher than other estimates (not by much), we decided to go with them. He stated shutters would be ready for install in 2 weeks. I took off work and juggled my schedule to make sure I could be home when he came for the install. All I can say is they completed the job in 1 hour. I am very pleased with their service and professionalism. To have someone give you a specific date and time and show up right as scheduled is unheard of nowadays. If you are looking to get shutters/ blinds these are the guys. read more

Earesto is all about customer service. He shows up on time, his installations are great. His pricing is probably lower than everyone elses. He is honest. He truly cares about his customers more than anything else. The quality of his products are good, even the lower end ones. He installed our blinds about 20 yrs ago and they still work! Well, ok a few tweaks here and there but 20 yrs old. These things are opened and closed every single day and occasionally bumped into. That is darn good stuff. read more
