I've found it increasingly difficult to find service companies that are knowledgeable in their field, responsive, honest and provide excellent customer service. Not only did Green Tech Plumbing check all these boxes, but they also offer fair pricing. A unicorn of a business. After being overcharged and underwhelmed by our previous plumber, I was on the hunt for a capable plumber to install a whole house water filtration system. From the moment I reached out to Green Tech Plumbing, they were nothing but responsive and helpful. I purchased the filtration system from a vendor, yet Kevin willingly answered all my questions (promptly!) about the system. He even pointed out that one of the options had expensive filters that would need to be changed frequently saving me hundreds of dollars in filters. What a gem! Kevin came out to look at how the system could be installed in our space and talked to me through how the system would work and answered all my questions. He then provided a fair quote. Once our system was delivered, I emailed to set up the installation. His team came out the following week for the installation. The tech Kevin sent was just as helpful! He moved the 100-pound tank from the garage to the basement, which wasn't part of their scope. The tech had to make a run to the hardware store to buy connection pieces that weren't included with system, but he knew exactly what to buy and did so in a timely manner. The install was speedy and flawless. The tech was even willing to stay while I called the vendor's water filtration system customer service expert to walk us through the start up process. On top of this great experience, I wrote a check for the incorrect amount and Kevin responded right away saying he would swing by and drop a check in our mailbox for the overpayment. Unreal! This is how you run a company!

He said no problem and he met up with our caretaker and fixed the issue in a flash, saving us from having to come right home. Just today, his guys Lance and Josh came to the house to troubleshoot a leak in the basement to find it was coming from a bidet toilet on the floor above it. Complicated? Yes. I just had Nick come out to troubleshoot a water heater repair caused by a leak from a saddle valve…read moreabove my furnace heading to my furnace humidifier causing the pilot light to go out to to the pooling water and moisture at the base of the unit. The service team was able to fit me in same day by putting me on standby. Nick was able to diagnose, stop the leak, inspect that the leak had done no further damage, and ultimately get the water heater working within 5 minutes of his arrival. Better yet, he said it was a simple fix and did not charge me, but just asked that I keep them at the top of my list for my next job! Very friendly and presentable all the way. He also assessed my heater and said I probably had about another two years to go before needing to replace, and gave me a written quote for a new water heater and to replace the saddle valve with an angle stop. The angle stop cost was a bit high, but the water heater replacement was very reasonable (just being fair). I am definitely going to reach out to them for my next plumbing job.
