Called to see if they could install a rack on my teardrop (it was specifically designed for it). They said to bring it in so they could see it. I hooked it up, drove over & showed them everything. They said no problem, maybe 2 hours. All good...except ~45 minutes later when they called and said they didn't feel comfortable doing the job. If you're business revolves around racks, you should be able to install one an pretty much anything (especially with step by step directions) or at least be able to tell someone up front it's beyond your skill level. Wasted a day & ended up installing it myself with a bit of help from a buddy the next day. 1 star for most reasonable quote at $80 though, most others wanted $200+. read more

My poor mom had an awful experience here and doesn't know how to post so I'm doing it on her behalf. She feels they tried to take advantage of her. First she called ahead to make sure they had what she needed, then she drove 45 minutes to get there only to be told they don't have what she needs, she can't use Yakima anymore (a lie) and she needed a new Thule rack system for around $1000. They offered to buy her very good condition Yakima j hooks (set of 4 no less) for $25. After doing some investigating we're going to Rack Attack or REI. I'm so mad at them for trying to dupe my mom. I wish she knew who had helped her, I'd call the manager on him. read more

This place is great! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will set you up with a rack and accessories to fit your budget. I went in expecting to have to spend $600 - $700 for a rack and a cargo box but only spent a little over $400 for everything, all quality used items. Now I no longer have to beat up the interior of my car transporting two walkers for my in-laws on our family outings. read more

Came in and bought a Yakima cargo box for $499. That price was way cheaper than anywhere we researched online. It was a super easy transaction, no pressure to buy and the staff was very nice & helpful. Then got home and wanted to read more about the cargo box and low and behold REI was having a sale! The exact cargo box was $100 cheaper. The next day, I called ReRack and told them what happen. Went back in and they credited us $99 on our credit card. So basically, we bought a brand spanking new cargo box for $399!! That's a steal! And we spent our money locally! I'd totally recommend them to friends & family. read more

After trading in one car for another, I had two problems: needed to unload an old bike rack, and needed a rack for the new car. ReRack took care of them both very quickly and professionally, and I ended up paying half what I would've paid at [Retail Enterprise Inthemall]. After offering me a good deal on my old rack, the staff were very patient with me and took the time to explain all my options for new and used bike racks, and each of their pros and cons including price differences. When I'd decided on a rack setup, I left them my keys, took a walk around Laurelhurst, got a cup of coffee and when I returned it was fully installed at no extra charge. The staff then walked me through how to use the quick releases and locks, and I was on my way with plenty of daylight left to enjoy a bike ride. Good times! read more

Great customer service, very helpful. I have a Thule bike rack and a Thule roof rack that were keyed differently. Went in to get a cylinder to key the bike rack the same as the roof, and they just swapped me cylinders no charge. Every time I've done business with them, it has been a pleasure, and they know their stuff! read more

Think twice about purchasing from this company. The bike rack did not fit my roof rack and Rerack didn't care. They only cared about making the one sale and not a loyal customer. Rerack requires you to pay the full shipping cost plus a 20% restocking fee. They apparently think its still 1995. The return shipping was going to be $53 and total loss for me would have been $82 on a purchase of just $142. I decided to just resell the item on my own. I highly recommend you DO NOT buy from this company. I tried to work a compromise but they were unwilling to budge. Customer service dos not exist with Rerack. I purchased 2 of the same racks from moparonlineparts.com and they were $100 cheaper for the same bike racks except theses actually fit my roof rack and their customer service was amazing. AVOID RERACK AT ALL COSTS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. read more

Extremely rude front desk employee. Think his skinny jeans were to tight. They to have better customer service

Best customer service ever! They bought my old bike rack and set me up with a great used rack that fit my car better! Great service, fantastic prices, they have everything you need to set up your car! Thank you Randy, you are awesome! read more

Friendly help. Fast service. $145 bucks for Thule rack towers that were collecting dust in my garage. (Don't even own the cars anymore!) would recommend for buying or selling. read more

The most friendly and helpful service! My expectations were exceeded. I came in not knowing much, but that I needed a bike rack. The man was super helpful, made sure it was exactly what I needed and was safe for my car. He installed it (for free) carefully while showing me how to do it for next time. Told me that if I had any trouble to come back in and they'd take care of it for me. Will come back for all of my rack needs in the future. read more

Went Sunday afternoon and greeted by a guy named Brandon (I think), he helped me with rhino setup. There was another guy who helped him with the setup too... amazing service. I dont think that there is a way to tip these guys. If they had a way... they deserve a fat tip for sure. ReRack.... I'll be back ! read more

I had an amazing shopping experience here. I walked in knowing I needed a ski rack for my Subaru, but had no prior experience with racks. Chester helped me pick out the perfect ski rack at the best possible price. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable and even mounted my new rack for me. He showed me what to look for in a decent rack. He even showed me how to remove and mount my rack should I need to in the future, though he said I could also just bring my car back in and they'd remove/mount the rack for me. I will definitely be returning in the future, and will recommend ReRack to all my friends and family. Thank you Chester and ReRack for the best shopping experience I think I've ever had. Your Loyal Customer, Tekla PS - The guys that work here are really nice... Can I just come hangout? ;D read more

I went in to get a part for my bars so they would fit my Scion. It was a busy Saturday and even though the guy was working on something else he asked me if he could answer my question while he worked. They had the part I needed and everything fit like it should. Thanks guys read more

These guys are legit. I had a broken Thule box and they fixed the latches, the lock, and replaced my keys. All for a cheap price. They got it done quickly and with no questions asked. read more

The customer service here today left much to be desired. Stood around for about 5 min without being acknowledged by any of the 6 employees i could see in the store, none of whom seemed eager to help me or anyone else. finally was helped by a curt young man that looked like he had late night last night, and the service went downhill from there. It's too bad since i really try to go out of my way to support local independent businesses, but i will not be back here again. read more

I called these guys about a week before coming in to see if they had anything that would work with my Lexus SUV with a Panoramic roof. They took the time to look through their vendors then gave me the one that would work. They even gave me the part numbers to review. Once I came in, they verified everything was correct, opened all the boxes and showed me the parts and options, then preceded to install the base rack for me. Very courteous, thorough, and professional. I'll be back to buy the box next, even though they said there's no hurry and that I could even rent one from them if I liked. read more

We purchased rack bars and the accompanying installation feet. Unfortunately we ordered a size that was not compatible with my Elantra and they allowed a full refund. All the customer service folks were spoke to were polite and helpful! I'm nervous about ordering online again...just so many details, but I will order from ReRack. read more

I wanted to buy a ski rack for my Subaru Outback and someone had recommended this establishment. I am glad that I went here, the prices are very reasonable , and they install for free. I found the price for the rack that I bought similar to Craig's list postings but ReRack has a limited time satisfaction guarantee. Knowledgeable, friendly and I never got the feeling that they were trying to up sell me or hungry for a sale. I would highly recommend this place as a go to. read more

These people are awesome! It's nice to feel like someone who likes what they do is helping you. Everything was done quickly and with a smile. Very professional and relaxed atmosphere. Can't beat the prices too! This place should be your first stop for rack needs. read more

These people are amazing. They know their stuff and don't try to oversell you! I was thoroughly impressed with their knowledge and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a rack for their car. I knew very little about bike racks before I came in to the store. The salesman was very patient, showed me how to install the trunk mounted bike rack, answered all of my questions and told me how to put my bikes on the rack (I did not bring them with me, so he couldn't show me.) he did tell me that if I had any problems putting the bikes on, he would be happy to offer any help he could! It turned out that the simple advice he gave me while I was there was all the advice I needed. It only took minutes for me to put my bikes on the rack!!! I can't say enough good stuff about them! read more

I do not do reviews often but feel compelled to do this one. After calling, the person on the phone said I needed to go to a store to find a used rack, seemed reasonable. Went to a store. I am an older (meaning old) dude without much money and told the person in the store I was shopping for something used as there was not a big budget. The sales person looked at my car and proceeded to explain why the only "safe" solution for me was a new model rack for $450. I did not ask what they would have sold me last year, that they might have used today :-). I called a company down the street from them then (Rack Attack). That person asked some questions, put me on hold for 10 minutes and then returned to explain they could marry a couple of new parts to a used rack and get me on the road for $280. They noted the quote and set the parts aside. Guess what is going to happen now read more

Awesome service. Great prices. Really helpful folks!! Would definitely recommend you look there first! Better prices than eBAy. And service adds even more value. Went back to fix a small issue and they replaced rack and helped me add locks to towers. It's always refreshing to get old fashioned service and service after sale! read more

We needed a simple no frills cargo box for our cross country move. We walked in, were greeted promptly, mentioned what we were looking for, and were taken to the back to check out a used box. Exactly what we needed, priced right, and Tyler installed it for us in the pouring rain with a smile. Awesome service. Absolutely no pretension and no overselling. I can't believe it was so easy, and we were so lucky they'd just gotten in what we were looking for. They also, smartly, have a tip line on the receipt so you can throw some bucks the way of their crew which we were happy to do for such great service and free installation. Thanks ReRack! read more

I recently was shopping around for a rack for my Mazda for a camping trip. I first went to Rack Attack. I was treated as if I forgot my wallet that day. The service was horrible and I left empty handed. I went to ReRack. I was at ReRack for no more than 15 minutes and Chet found the correct racks for my car, installed them (free by the way) and explained everything I needed to know. now that is service. I went back a week later to rent a rood box for my trip. I was there again for no more than 10 minutes and had the box installed and on my way. If you want great down to earth service mixed with a great price, go to ReRack and save yourself the hassle. read more

So I have factory cross bars not installed and upon pre-calling was told it shouldn't be a problem to install for a cost and to then install ski racks I would be purchasing. Get there today and was told that without directions they just couldn't do the install. So I went to rack attack down the road and gave them my business. read more

Super honest, got me what i wanted at a great price, told me where to go to get other things for cheaper. Installed my rack for free

Brendan from Rerack gave excellent customer support over email while the store was closed during the COVID19 pandemic. I didn't know where to start in choosing the right kayak racks for my Subaru Crosstrek. I reached out by email and got a prompt reply with four different options at different price points with enough information to help me understand what I was looking for without overwhelming me. Brendan replied to my follow up questions in a timely manner, too. I can't speak to the quality of the product or speed of shipping yet, and I'll have to tackle installation myself while the store is closed, but I have nothing but praise for the customer service I've received so far. Brendan helped me feel equipped to make the right choice for my vehicle and my recreational needs. read more

Ok, I try to give places the benefit of the doubt, and I was excited to check out ReRack with my dad. But we left feeling pretty disappointed, and were so frustrated that we decided to leave before even being offered help. The beginning of our frustrations arose from the mere fact that we were there on a Saturday - mid day - and there were three to four other patrons who entered after us. Then we proceeded to stand around for 15 minutes. With four other people waiting around and only one number ahead of ours, we were sure it wouldn't be a long wait. ... We waited, and waited. Meanwhile, numerous employees shuffled around the store - seemingly working, but none offering to help. All of the business was being handled by one employee. We knew what we needed: a yakima lock core and a top rack. We could see the one that we needed, and wanted to try to see if they had any used or warranty-less racks that may have been cheaper. ... 15 minutes later, we were still waiting around. No one had shown any interest in us, so we departed. It wasn't that we didn't try to talk to someone; it was that we didn't feel like anyone was interested in helping us and despite waiting with a number and having our questions ready we decided "screw it this is a waste of our time, we know what we need. Let's take our business elsewhere." Not something i like to do especially when a local business is concerned. Hopefully we just caught them on an off day. read more

This was a great experience. The staff were extremely helpful and quick to help attach the rack that I chose. Terrible! Told me a low price and then that doubled when I got there! People were nice just really bad customer service. It was nice of them to refer me to rack attack ( their competitor ) who then hooked it up! read more

I can't believe they didn't charge me to breathe their oxygen... I bought a complete rack set for 300$ (a decent price). Then I was told they mount for free but that they encourage tipping or beer. So I paid them 300$ for a used rack (towers, mounts, clips, bars) then bought them beer to install (which I was told takes an hour). It only took them 10 minutes then I noticed the key locks were missing. Surprise surprise, key locks are an additional 30$. I already owned a snowboard carrier and they refused to mount it on the racks- even though they said it was easy- without charging me AGAIN! I tipped when I initially bought, I bought them beer to install later, and still they wanted more to complete the job. They have the right products-which they should- but tipping at a retail products store? Theres a line for tipping when you use your card as if you're at a bar. Not to mention they break down a product and sell it separately. All said and done, I should have gone new for another 100$ and saved myself the trouble of doing business with panhandling drunks. read more

If you are looking for a good value on a rack for your car, ReRack is a good place to start. Everyone there seems to be a rack geek, and they have a pretty good selection of all the major brand name racks. They may not have everything in stock, but if you can get a majority of your parts at ReRack and buy the rest at another spot, you will save some cash. They will install your rack for free which is nice. RackAttack charges $40 or so for installs. read more

The fam and I went in thinking we knew what rack system we were going with but ended up needing to upgrade. The sales person was really knowledgeable but even though no one else was in the store he seemed annoyed answering our questions. We ended up getting a quote which was high. So between the customer service and price we won't be back. read more

Surprisingly good! I was expecting some sort of second hand rack and cargo box shop but what I found was a incredibly professional operation that also sold second hand racks and cargo boxes. Very well run company. I got the parts I needed for $83 instead of $100 everywhere else. Cheaper and faster than anyone else. Highly recommended. Plus a small business that I'd rather support. read more
