Went in to get a hullavator a couple of weeks ago. Casper helped me out and it turned out that I needed a rack addition to the one I have on my Outback. I asked if it would be possible to get it installed that day and he said he could do it after finding all of the parts needed. He got it installed for me and it looked great! It ended up being a combination of new and used items. One of the other employees said they upgraded the Hullavator because the one I purchased wouldn't work with the crossbars I got. It was really great customer service. I do have two things though, just because someone doesn't put down a tip on their credit card doesn't mean they aren't going to give a tip, some of us know it's better to get the cash instead. I could tell that they didn't expect anything. It was kind of a weird transaction when getting my car keys back. Also, it seems to be whistling quite loudly, I don't think it's supposed to, I might take it back and see if they fix that problem. I was thinking that maybe that's why some people get rid of their racks because they are loud. But asking around I've found that other people do t have that problem. So a really good experience, just hope they can fix the whistle?

Having never purchased a roof rack before and not really knowing what to look for, I was certainly hesitant to just buy one without knowing a lot about it. So, I turned it to the inter-webs and was overwhelmed with the number of reviews out there. This website says this roof rack is the best. That website says that roof rack is the best and the other one is crap. It is overwhelming. That is where the knowledgeable and experienced people at ReRack come in. I was pleasantly surprised that when I told them what I was looking for in a roof rack, they didn't go with the most expensive one available. They tailored the roof rack I needed to my specific needs and my vehicle. Not only that, they installed it quickly, showed me how to uninstall it, as well as all of its features. I would recommend this business wholeheartedly.

    Crossbars from Rerack

I called Rerack in search of a rack. Kal instantly was very helpful, informational, and communicative. Upon arrival, everything went quick and was done within an hour! Kal then gave me a run down about the crossbars. Overall great experience! I would recommend a friend and would even come back for more if I needed!

There is no dedicated parking, so finding a spot to park can be challenging at times. There are also a lot of unhoused people in the adjacent neighborhood. There is a lot of stuff here! It's actually a little overwhelming to try to navigate the store because there are literally racks and shelves of stuff everywhere. So Probably not the best place if you get claustrophobic easily. My favorite part about this place is definitely the bargain basement. You can sell your stuff, find good deals, and even rent ski and snowboard equipment! This place is basically a local REI with the chance to sell used equipment and score a good deal in in their bargain area. Check it out if you have a chance.

The selection here is fantastic, with everything from jackets and hiking shoes to thermal gear and hats, all at factory outlet prices. I've found deals that beat most online discounts, especially during seasonal sales. The staff deserves a shoutout. They're genuinely helpful, not pushy, and always willing to check stock or help you find the right size. You can tell they actually use the products and know what they're talking about. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate -- no digging through messy racks like some outlets. The checkout process is quick, and the team keeps the line moving even when it gets busy. Pro tip: Sign up for the Columbia Rewards program. I've scored some extra savings and early access to sales that make it worth it. Overall, this is one of the best outlet shopping experiences in the Portland area. Whether you're gearing up for a hike or just looking for a solid rain jacket (we are in the PNW), Columbia has you covered -- literally! LMAO

I was specifically hoping to find boots and/or a jacket. On top of having an entire floor full of clearance jackets, they also had about a dozen racks under tents outside of the store. It seemed like they probably had every Columbia jacket that had been made within the past few years. There was also a ton of Mountain Hardware and Sorel. The Mountain Hardware jackets were about 25-50% off, which was still significantly cheaper than REI or anywhere else that I know of. I ended up feeling so overwhelmed by the jacket selection that I decided I needed to do some research, and come back. I ended up leaving with two pairs of snow boots: 1 Columbia, and 1 Sorel. I got both pairs for $55, including tax and a very small roundup for the National Park fund. I've been looking for boots for a couple of weeks, and the cheapest I've found comparable boots anywhere else was anywhere from $69-129. So, I was beyond stoked to find two pairs I liked in the clearance section. They were also having a store wide BOGO half-off sale, which is how the total ended up so low. I didn't have, and have actually never had any of the issues with outlet stores that other people brought up in their reviews. I used to work at the outlets in Folsom. Most of the merchandise isn't damaged or defective-- it's just overstock or barely out of season. The boots that I purchased are honestly of similar quality to brand new boots from DSW. I just got really lucky (and have a seventh sense for when things will be on sale due to all my years of working in retail). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and I would definitely shop here again.

Originally I bought one from Nordstrom, but I went to check out OMC. Turns out Oregon Mountain Community gives a 10-15% discount so I ended up saying over $100 and returned the jacket from Nordstrom. OMC is actually an online web store, and this location is the warehouse with all the gear. If you find it online, they will have it in store. Visits may also vary. I went in once and we bought a few jackets, and the sales guy was super friendly and knocked off a huge discount off some very expensive jackets. He also brought out a bajillion different brands and went over all the pros and cons. On another visit, the guy looked high and was so confused on what we were trying to buy. In the end though he still helped us out and I got what I wanted for way cheaper than other brick and mortar stores, but like I said different sales people, different approaches. Also if you are part of local clubs (Mazamas) they will also throw in discounts.
