It takes a lot for me to speak negatively. Unfortunately, a piercer in this shop pierced my 6 year…read moreold's ear at an angle, causing her a great deal of pain as it tried to heal. Before the piercing, I pointed out that the marker dot seemed too low, and it was a line covering the bottom of the lobe -- not a dot. The piercer said it would be fine because they would pierce it at the top of the line, and they did not fix the mark. I wish I had not trusted them, but I did, and I allowed them to pierce my child. I will never forgive myself for not knowing better! The earring came out through the bottom of the lobe. The piercer remarked at the time that my child was very tough because she did not flinch or make a sound during the piercing. When we realized the mistake, we went back. The piercer who messed up said nothing about it. The other piercer owned the error, but offered no apology to my child. Instead, they blamed her. They said "This was unfortunately a mishap in the piercing process. Mistakes happen. She might have moved during the piercing process. After it heals, we will pierce it again at no charge." But they had even pointed out that she didn't flinch when it was pierced. Instead of apologizing to the 6 year old who experienced such pain, they blamed her for it. I understand mistakes happen. I just wanted my child to be given an apology, and for the piercer who messed up to get more training. I messaged the shop about all of this, requesting the owner to respond. They responded asking for my phone number, which I sent. That message was read. No phone call. No response. They do not seem to care about my child's pain or making sure the piercer is properly trained. Glad we found a piercer who can handle an ear lobe to do it correctly!

I was asking for a post change, I wanted a shorter post for my conch piercing, as my piercing was healed. I wanted to keep my same earring and just get a shorter post. My previous earring was a push in post rather than a twist in post. She put in a twist in post without telling me. Then she told me that my earring was not working with the new post and that since it was already in my ear that I had to pay for it. My friend was also getting her cartilage pierced. She didn't tell her when she was about to pierce her and caught her completely by surprise when she pierced it. She also pierced her cartilage with a lobe earring rather than an earring specifically for cartilage. She was also very condescending when answering our questions. Overall, I would not recommend this place for piercings.

The tattoo she did for me was a memorial tattoo for my papa that recently passed. She was able to take a sample of his handwriting and put a special message we used to say when I was younger on my should so he's always with me The shop I very clean and Jonesy goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and explains everything before getting started. And answers any questions along the way. She let us play our own music while getting the tattoos done. I'm from the Chicago area and I'd never go anywhere else now, it's a longer drive for me but totally worth it knowing I'll get stellar treatment and knowing my tattoo will be amazing! My schedule has been very busy of late and a lot of muscle tension in my neck and shoulders. Upon arriving in Danville I searched the Internet for a massage therapist that might be available on Sunday afternoon. After calling a couple of numbers I received an answer from Joejin Spa and Massage. A women with an Asian accent answered the phone which I expected thus the name. So I asked if they had and appointments and her reply was yes they had therapist available to come on over to their location with an hour secession would be $60.00 . Upon my arrival I was not impressed with the appearance of the business but I entered and was greeted by a lady who worked there. She asked me had I been there before and my reply was no this was my first time and I would like to have an hour of work. She then proceeded to tell me the $60.00 included a table shower, dry sauna and then body work. When I said I wanted and needed only body work with focus on back and neck I was told that she was only able to work on me for 30 minutes and an hour made her too tired. I said well ok because I was already there. It was cash only and for a 20 minute back and shoulder rub with dry and sticky hands was $40.00. What a joke.

She did not explain one thing to me about what she was doing or how long it would take, and your eyes are closed the entire time. At one point she said 'I'm going to use the bathroom. Holler if you need me.' I didn't even know her name. After the procedure I asked questions about what exactly she did to my lashes. It was a very unpleasant experience and I will never go back.
