I specifically called ahead and asked for a stylist who specializes in short haircuts. Instead, I was paired with someone who seemed fresh out of school and specialized in highlights. I showed the stylist multiple inspiration pictures, but the final result looked nothing like them. Don't let the high-end atmosphere or great reviews fool you--they completely ignored my preferences. Not every woman wants long, highlighted hair. Some of us are professionals who prefer short, sharp styles, and we deserve to be paired with stylists who actually have that skill set. I drove home in tears. Save your money and go somewhere that actually listens to clients.

She did a great job with cutting and styling- I'm obsessed with the look. Definitely the best salon in Champaign.

From the moment I walked in, no greeting, no smile, no courtesy. Just short answers and scowling faces. Customer service is horrible! The owner should send in some secret customers to get a real view of how people are being treated. From someone who has never had a spray tan, I was extremely uncomfortable. Highly advise to not use this company. Don't post on Facebook about your services being someone's passion--- that's a lie!

I scheduled an special occasion make-up appointment with Cara for son's wedding. I was so excited…read moreabout Cara doing my make-up. Well what a disappointment!! First she was late opening up the store. Second she bloched my contouring which bloched my blush. I asked her about fixing it and she took a sponge to my cheek but that did nothing!! When I was finally done with my make-up appointment I still had to have my hair styled. When we got back to our hotel room I had just enough time to get dressed and take off my foundation and blush and start over. I complained to the owners and I felt like I dismissed. I have been a customer of Merle Norman Cosmetics for many many years and I will never buy any products from any of the stores these owners own. I was fortunate enough too be able to fix my make-up myself, but that isnt the point. I regret going there!!!
