I lost my 100k yr job because of REQUEST A TEST and LAB CORP. They took EIGHT DAYS and a 3 state journey for my urine to ruin my life. I DID 45 HOME TESTS in advance of my sample and I have photos of all of the negative results. After receiving positive for THC and getting fired, I went to a reputable lab and received NEGATIVE test results less than 24 hours after the guillotine. I have LOTS of photos of my proof, and I am NOT a POT SMOKER. But I lost my job, company car, and everything else because of it. I am in the process of subpoenaing the deep data on my drug test that was BOGUS, and after I get a second and third opinion, I will see you and LABCORP in court read more

I initially thought the service worked well, but was very disappointed when they told me I would have to retake the same test because the results came back as invalid. Then I learned that not only would I have to take time to go back in and re-take the test, but that they were going to make me pay the full $75 to take the test again. Obviously I was quite upset about this. I spoke on the phone several times with management and they refused to even meet me halfway or offer any sort of credit for the second test. I explained to them that it seemed like a scam, since they offered zero information in advance about how to avoid such invalid results (i.e. drink very little to no water in advance.). A quick google search pulls up a number of different testing services, and in the future I will certainly use one of those. read more

Tried to get a quantitative pregnancy test. First the timings they gave me for the lab I booked were wrong so I waited 3 days for the lab to open to get a test. Then I got a test at 7.45am and by 5.45pm the next day not only do I still not have results but they have no idea when I will have them! UPDATE: After I posted the review below, I got an E-mail from Noelle Perez, the president of Request a Test, threatening to sue me for slander for daring to publicly criticize their company. Is that really a service you want to be involved with? ******* Request a Test's policies are so deceptive they border on fraud. I signed up for a specific test, and they told me what the nearest center was, which was a few blocks away. Then they charged my card. And only THEN did they tell me that my nearby center doesn't actually do the test that I want, that the closest center is several miles away. Since I was in a new city, I just hopped in a cab, and it was a $40 cab ride!! If they had just been up front that the center in question didn't provide that test - and given how sophisticated computer programming is these days, they absolutely could have - I would not have had to deal the extra expense and trouble. I could have simply used a different company. It seems to me that Request a Test was simply trying to scam me out of my money by charging my credit card before telling me that they were sending me to a far-away facility. They know exactly what blood work you need per state, they will automatically fax over your results. You can create an account and your results are online for download anytime. You can pay over the phone and go to a LabCorp or something like that, super easy. Highly recommended! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. They have poor customer service and if your employer orders the test, good luck getting the results. I'm traveling for work and haven't been able to start because I'm not allowed to access my own results and I haven't been able to print their form for my employer to access the results (covid closures... nowhere to print). Their customer service told me to stop being angry at them for their privacy policies. I gave my consent in person at the lab for my employer to have access but that isn't good enough. I needed Quantiferon Gold TB test. The results are either negative or positive. I have worked as a phlebotomist for years and could not believe what they told me after paying over $150.00 for the test; "there was not enough sample to test." What a joke - the tube was filled and the results should either be negative or positive... and I get the above ridiculous non-answer?!!! I ordered the test and went to the lab same day. Checked for results 3 business days later but were not uploaded yet to my account. I called and the agent checked and will upload the results. Apparently, without a Dr order test results cannot be faxed without signing an authorization. So, mail will take a few more days. From start to finish including mailing time, I have no idea if I need antibiotics or not. I had expected a quick TAT, results and in to my Dr's hands. The website was pretty good but it implied a smooth process, which was not my experience. The pricing was very fair but I had to call a few times, I have to wait a few more days, etc. I already heard about 'we can't help what the lab does or if it is delayed'. That's fine. No matter, the outcome was well, I'm not really sure yet. read more

Been using RequestATest for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. I watch for discounts and buy the tests when they are cheapest, then wait until I need them. If I don't need them within a few months, I have had to contact RequestATest to refresh the test ID with with lab, but that worked fine and happened in a couple hours. I've never needed an appointment at LabCorp, where I get phlebotomized. read more

Our employee showed up to have several tests done only to be sent away and told they don't perform the tests... which they do and we have had many employees take the same test. Would be nice if the employees knew what services they offered.... ended up having to send the employee back 3 times before they finally got it together and the icing on the cake was the employees being rude. I tried several times to call, you think anyone actually answers the phone....nope. We will not be using that location of LabCorp again. Request a test was awesome in helping to resolve it! At first the process seemed very smooth working with Request a Test, but my overall experience with the company left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I do not usually write reviews but feel that this warranted it. I needed a 10 panel drug screen to become a hospital worker in CA, but when that test came back as unusable as I had too much water in my system, I reached out to Request a Test to ask why they make NO disclosures about testing procedures or the do's and don'ts in order to ensure a valid test. They were very responsive with their customer service (which I appreciate), however, they refused to even offer a small discount on a retest to my diluted one that the hospital did not want to accept. Request a Test refused to accept or acknowledge any responsibility for their lack of disclosures. Now knowing, from research and from talking to people at Request a Test itself, that there are obvious and known ways that these 10 panel drug screens come up as invalid such as consuming in my case normal amounts of water or taking cough syrup for a cold, I think that Request a Test is benefitting from intentionally withholding information from their customers. I have looked into submitting a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well and hope they change their practices in the future to run a straightforward, honest business as one would except from the medical industry. read more

In short I needed labs done for my doctor per FDA guidlines. Had to do outside of the office due to his concern I would have a false positive. Thought this was great. Everything was as it should be. About an hour after got a call saying additional testing was indicated which was expected. I inquired at the lab and during the call after about my med list. I am prescribed meds that are controlled. Was told the medical examiner would call for this. Took note of the extensive disclaimers. This was 10/27. I was pleased and impressed with how fast they called to let me know this. So I'm waiting. No call no result. Called 11/5 to see what the status was. Told what I can see on my account (that results were "still pending"). Asked about need for med list. The medical officer will call for this. Email to see if I could find the status 11/6. Email that results are pending. Told testing and possible re-testing could cause further delay. Again explained that I take medications and supplements that were expected to be positive that they may be doing this testing and retesting on. Was told the medical officer would ask for this. 9 buisness days later no call for med list, no result. I know there is a process. Note the extensive disclaimers. It boggles my mind that they would not request a medication list while doing a test. Especially if having to re-test. It would also be appreciated to know where things are at other than getting generic disclaimer responses that I can read on their site. Seeing my doctor tomorrow. Had to stop taking some of my medication and supplements for about a week so I could do a qualitative test in his office. Waste of money. read more
