His office is smaller than average, but it's organized and clean (I brought a book with me, since all offices don't currently carry magazines, (there's no way to sanitize them properly, due to this whole virus ruckus.) His staff is polite and thorough, plus his wife also works with him. I made an appointment roughly 3 weeks in advance, because he's busier than usual, again-due to panicking patients complaining about everything.

I had never had any cardiopulmonary symptoms before, so the newness of that and the uncertainty of the cause(s) provoked plenty of anxiety in me. Fortunately, Dr. Kirupaharan handled his role in my case with considerable expertise, and his warm, calm demeanor and skill at listening to what my body and my words were telling him were of a great comfort to me. I think Dr. PK, as many call him, is a very modest guy, but don't let that fool you. He is sharp as a tack and will go the extra mile for his patients, as he did many times for me. He could teach some classes on how to be a better doctor, especially from a standpoint of effectively listening to patients and explaining complex medical things to them at the level they would best be able to grasp them.

My appointment with Dr. Kirupaharan was yesterday October 23,3023 and I thank god I did go. Dr. Kirupaharan was not only nice, he was caring, patient, kind, understanding and thorough. He took the time to explain my illnesses and made sure I understood although my illness are complicated, I am not the only one in the world who has what I have (with every other Dr this is how I felt) but Dr. Kirupaharan has a couple plans in action for me and for the first time in years I feel hopefully. I know this is not going to be a quick fix by any means but I am grateful, thankful and blessed that I have found a Dr. who's willing to go through this with me. Within minutes of leaving his office., Dr. Kirupaharan called me personally twice to inform me that he already reached out to my Dr's back home and talked over my treatments. All I can do is hope and pray, wait and see but at least I have hope! He was personable and very caring. Unfortunately we moved from the area and I recently had my right hip done where we live now. It was a mediocre experience at best. Much more initial pain and I literally saw the doctor for 30 seconds on the day of surgery. If I have to have my knees done I will make the 2 hour drive to see Dr. Bechtel for sure!!

I have never gone to a practice that is this experienced, up-to-date, and as Capri g as the ones at AIA. I was happy when they opened a Westside location because I get a monthly shot and it makes it very convenient to just have to travel a short distance to get a shot that I am in and out of the office in less than 10 minutes. There was also a doctor there, Dr. Phil, who is new to the practice and I've met with once and I would take her as a stand-in for Dr. Javari as well. She was up-to-date on my case and had read my file and understood exactly what I needed. Then add to that an experienced, kind understanding on top of everything office staff. at both. I walk into either office. They know me they've checked me in and if there is time they've already checked on the dates and tell me what's open so I can make my next appointment that way I don't have to stop on my way out. They are always thinking of the patient time and doing all they can to keep things moving smoothly. That's what you need from the doctors office trusting caring staff member and doctors who really take the time for you. I give the practice of allergy and immunology associates the highest grade you can possibly get - they would get A+

I called again and asked for Dr. Panuto to prescribe me a new medication. I was told I need to call my insurance and ask medication was covered under my insurance and also did not contain the ingredient I was allergic to. Now, have you ever heard of a doctor telling you to research your own medications? I spent hours on the phone with my insurance asking about medications without the ingredient and could not even be told the cost of most of them without prior authorization. This would have been made easier for me if the doctor could have just given me this information. I have now switched to a different allergist and called Dr. Panuto's office to have my test results sent. I told the woman on the phone to please call me when they faxed the records. I called the new doctors office 2 weeks later and asked to make sure they had the results and to my surprise, they had never received the fax. I called Dr. Panuto's office again and asked why they had not been sent and the woman told me I needed to have a records release form before they could send the forms. I'm confused why it was confirmed that the records were faxed but I was never told that I needed a release form? Do not go to this doctor!
