Quest Diagnostics - This photo was taken at 7:30. The phlebotomist had not arrived and that's when the first appointment was supposed to have started.

I would give this place zero stars for the Westborough quest diagnostics if I could. I showed up at…read more7:16 and saw a paper sign over the check-in kiosk saying that they weren't open till 730 even though there is a Physical sign drilled to the wall saying that they are open and accepting patients starting at 7:00. I arrived early with the assumption that appointments would start at 7:30. The phlebotomist did not show up until 7:40. I had been the first to arrive and sign in as soon as the phlebotomist flipped the unofficial paper sign. However, the first patient who was brought back for their testing was at 7:50. They did not have an appointment and they didn't sign in as a walk-in. It was as a "personal favor" to one of the other nurses in the building and overheard this being discussed in the waiting room. I waited for over an hour after checking in I before asked where I was in the queue and if I had signed in correctly. I was yelled at and told to "wait my turn" even though I arrived over a half an hour before anyone else including the phlebotomist, even showed up. If I had simply been told that there wouldn't have been time for walk-ins today, I would've left and it wouldn't have been a problem but after being there for almost 2 hours and with no respectful communication, I still didn't get my blood drawn. 10/10 DO NOT recommend unless you enjoy being stressed out and yelled at. Then this is perfect for you. I have heard from friends, family, and other clients in the waiting room that if you have an appointment it is not any better.

If I could give a zero, I would. I will never use Quest again. There is zero notice on the site…read morethat this location is ONE human in a closet. Walked in, waited over an hour. Watched the tech have attitude with anyone daring to ask questions. The tech disappeared for an inordinate amount of time while on-time patients were left waiting. All walk ins were gone except me. He took someone ahead of me who showed up with no paperwork and didn't have an appt because she got her doctor to call paperwork in while I was STILL waiting. I finally walked over to knock on the door to ask him NICELY if he was going to get to me before he took his lunch break in 13 minutes. "You should probably just leave." This is Quest Customer Service? You leave people waiting AND your tech would have gone to lunch without even taking me nor TELLING me that he was not going to take literally FIVE minutes to draw my blood? Reprehensible. I'll be leaving feedback on every single platform because this is the worst lab experience I have ever had. I will inform my practice that I will NEVER use your services again. It is clear from other reviews that you do not value anything but making money.

I just had the most amazing experience at Quest! I am a tough stick...so when I was told I had to…read moreget some last-minute bloodwork done, I started chugging water and panicking...My experience is usually bruises, poking around...I live in fear of a nerve being hit, and of having to apologize endlessly for my fickle veins. With that in mind, I walked into Quest and completed the sign-in process at the kiosk. Simple and quick. Was told I could be seen in 5 minutes...panic intensifying...and to my slight dismay I was called in in 5 minutes! I immediately told Sarai I was a tough stick...and she responded, "Well you're in good hands...my specialty is infants!" Music to my ears, and so reassuring. I immediately felt better. She was so warm and funny; her vibe would have put me at ease even if she didn't have the qualifications (which she did). You know how you can tell when someone loves their job? And you know you're in the right place? That's how Sarai made me feel, and it totally turned my day around. She asked me for permission to check my other arm, and warned me of the expected pinches and pokes as she went through the process - just perfect etiquette of respect for body and boundaries. She kept me informed of her observations throughout the whole process too, which really helped me feel aware and in control. The whole process took less than five minutes and was painless. She also told me what to tell phlebotomists in the future - my veins are okay, just small, so I should request a pediatric/butterfly needle (maybe this info can help someone else). Just a perfect experience that turned my day around (maybe my life, lol, now that I know to request the kids' needle!). I feel bad for the people who had bad experiences here...but if you go to Quest and are lucky enough to get Sarai (I wish I could remember the coworker she also said was good with tough veins!) trust that you're in good hands, literally. God bless
