I was over 350 miles from home for a weekend conference in Bakersfield when my Prius became non-responsive. Kris responded to a phone call late on a Saturday and walked me through the steps to make my car operate but unfortunately the battery needed replacement. His staff went above and beyond. They did an amazing job getting me a new battery quickly but also graciously provided me with assistance to get to a rental agency so I could make it back home in the meantime. This is my second Prius, and I wished that I would've found these guys before I got rid of my first one with 267,000 miles because it was eating too much oil. They may have been able to help me. Now, my new one only has 114,000 miles but has an ABS light that will not go away. So happy there are entrepreneurs out there that realize the special issues with Prius Hybrids and are putting (according to their marketing) ethics above all else as their primary business model. Wow. Kris and Tim are so knowledgeable that they diagnosed the issue with my Gen 2 Prius over text message. I had used all the Prius tricks to get the odometer cluster lights back on for almost 3 yrs and finally, it died. I was driving unable to see mph, gas level, or odometer. Tim and team replaced the odometer cluster. The part was in stock so no waiting. The labor was smooth and efficient. From arrival to driving away was less than 90 minutes. I own a 2010 Toyota Prius and have been to RePrius multiple times over the past year and I am extremely grateful to have found them! I first contacted RePrius in April 2019 because my Prius was getting hybrid battery errors and, of course, the Toyota dealer wanted to only provide one very expensive option. But, RePrius offered to run some tests, battery ventilation cleaning, and go over all the options with me. Then, in November of 2019, my Prius had some major engine issues (which is common with my model) and RePrius did a complete engine rebuild, some transmission service, sway bar repair, and many other small things. Finally, most recently, I took my car to RePrius in February 2020 for an engine check up, A/C recharge, brake actuator repair, and steering column rattle fix. Each time I have dealt with RePrius, I appreciated their flexibility/availability, customer service, and honesty. They give you all the possible options and go over the pros and cons of each. They are mindful of your situation, schedule, and budget. They have honored their warranties and work. Their extensive knowledge of the Toyota Prius is impressive and comprehensive. On top of all that, they provide the convenience of being able to text them about the issues, scheduling, and updates throughout the repair process. And ultimately, I think their pricing is always fair, reasonable, and good for the value. [Bonus Info: After I got my car back in my most recent repair in February, I tested it out for a while. Everything was great and here is the text I sent them: "The A/C works great, there is no clanking or rattling at all, the brakes aren't fluctuating, and I no longer hear that pump running buzz noise. Reprius is GREAT! I've been there twice now with some small issues with my Prius. I'm not a car person, so at the time I had no idea they were small issues. I have an older Prius and everywhere else in town charges at least 3x what Reprius does. Tim and Kris get the job done quicker and cheaper than anyone else. I can't begin to tell you much how these two guys ,Tim and Kris, have restored my faith in humanity. Made the trip from Tennessee to visit a friend in Bakersfield and my window stopped working on the way. Figured it's the window regulator...no biggie. They quoted me a great price on the part and extremely reasonable labor rate to put it in. I could have done the job myself, but the price was so reasonable, I said the heck with that, it's 106 out here. I'll let them do it. When I arrived and Kris looked at the window....it was an easy two screw fix. No regulator necessary. Most places I reckon would have done the additional unnecessary work for the money. Not these guys. $27 dollars later and I'm headed for Yosemite and then back to TN. If I lived in Bakersfield or anywhere close, and I wanted to buy a solid used Prius or get work done on mine...it would be criminal if I chose any other place to go. Words can't describe my recommendation of this business and these two fellas. Wished they'd think about moving to TN. read more

I am just amazed at the level of customer service I received from RePrius and I never even went to the shop. Let me explain. My daughter's 10 year old Prius was giving us problems. It wouldn't start and I was certain it needed a new expensive hybrid battery(I was getting a check hybrid system message and several warning lights). A co worker recommended that I contact RePrius. I sent them a message explaining my problem. They messaged me right away telling me to try to change the 12 volt battery. I explained that I already had done that so they recommended I clean the throttle valve. I did that with no luck. Next they sent me a message to try adding 5 gallons of fuel. Amazingly my gas gauge was reading incorrectly and it was out of fuel causing numerous warning lights. They did all this diagnostic work free of charge and even thanked ME. I know where I'll be taking my Prius from now on. Thank you guys!!! read more

This is such a great service. My husband and I were stranded while passing through Bakersfield headed up north to San Fransisco on Christmas Eve night. I was completely freaking out as many shops were closed at the time. I decided to give this place a call, trying anything and not only did they pick up but they quickly came out to look at my car on Christmas Eve Night. ON CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT!!!! Kind of late but a couple of weeks ago I was heading down to college when something came loose under my corrolla and was dragging along as i was driving. I pulled up to reprius and even though my car wasnt a prius, he was still willing to help. He tightened it in less than 10 mins and didn't even charge me for it.
