I've worked at many barcades. At the VERY least, have quarters, but if you want to be a successful business with repeat customers who love your place, be a human being and do a cover charge like any great arcade. You will make more on drink sales and come out on top...it's how the industry works. Do better. Also, your Dave and Busters location, Tiebreakers? So stupid.

I'm a bit peeved as my wife beat me by one stroke. Unintentional Pun. If you are looking for something different to do, drop on by, and as with everywhere in Boone, you are surrounded by good people. Seriously, you gotta put some elbow grease into some of these holes headed up hill, I walked away with 7 strokes on the first hole. I'm not proud. It was, however, good clean fun.

The lanes are highly dysfunctional, and the furniture is so bulky that you don't have hardly any room if the lanes next to you are also occupied. Also, the furniture have holes in them or are kept together with duct tape. It would be nice, too, if the lights and video screens were on to give some extra entertainment and life to the place. If you like good burgers and dogs, and if you'd like a good game of billiards, this place is for you. If you happen to go to Boone, North Carolina on vacation, be sure to stop in and shoot a game or two. The place is spotlessly clean, and just a great place to hang out on a rainy day. The bartender and staff overall were extremely rude and unwelcoming, and to top it off, the drinks were double the price of what we expected. Definitely not an experience I'd recommend. Save yourself the money and frustration and go somewhere else. Completely ruined our first kids free night for my husband's birthday and our anniversary.

And it was the highlight of our whole weekend. We were able to pay the new switch which was fantastic (and also showed us we do not want to buy one yet haha!). Tons of pinball, some classic games in the back, and honestly, hours worth of fun. You can rent any console you could want. The $10 cover was all games for free so it was perfect. They had a bunch of really fantastic beers, I tried a couple and am still thinking about a caramel apple one I tried here. So great. The conversation with the bartender was awesome, we learned a lot about the area, history, and what has happened in the last year. Such a great experience. Highly, highly recommend to anyone. The kids love riding the big train, although the loud whistle scared the little one this year. But we had noise-canceling headphones, as a just-in-case, so all was well. The kids are still little and really enjoy the activities up at the top. We had a stroller, so took the free shuttle to the top, rather than the skylift. The mine train, gem mining, and the little-kid rides were a big hit. Feeding the animals (goats, llamas, deer, emus) is always super fun, too. Before you enter the animal area, you can buy ice cream cones filled with animal feed ($1 a cone). Once you've handed out all the feed, then you break the cone apart and feed it. We bought 3 cones; could probably have used a 4th. The animals were all very friendly and gentle. Even one of the llamas came over for some feed; they are usually a bit aloof. Look forward to coming back!
