It was honestly chaos and unorganized. There should be a lane dedicated for people who have memberships and advanced purchases. If there is one. I did up going to the side and speaking with a staff member to check in and bypass the line to buy tickets. My son and 1 stayed about 3 hours, which was nice. I usually am active and engaged by jumping but it was too crowded and wanted the kids to the enjoy the space. I did enjoy myself for about 45 minutes of the time. Part of the membership is kids get a slice of pizza and snack. We went around 7:45pm as they closed at 9. The snack is usually popcorn or chips. My son wanted popcorn. He got a little and kernels. They gave us a buzzer as they were supposed to make more but I didn't see that happening around 15 minutes. We decided to leave, so I returned the buzzer without the popcorn. I think they should have a limit on how many people are present so that people can actually enjoy it without it being cramped. The free jump trampoline area had multiple people in one spot when it's supposed to be one only. There was no staff attending to that area but was a staff member at the other areas. In the future, I think I'm going to come earlier in the day if I'm going on the weekend to hopefully beat the crowd. But they have many birthday parties there too, along with walk ins. It can just be very overwhelming.

My daughter was happy to see her kids having fun. But to put the cakes and presents on a rack is down right....stupid!! Some teenager got ahold of one of my grandsons cakes and stuck his/her fingers in it and destroyed his cake!!! The employees threw the kids out, and gave my kid a discount on the party..but this in my opinion, should have been handled differently. Those evil kids who destroyed the cake should have been held, their parents should have been called, and a police report should have been made about it. They should have been made to repay my daughter for the cake, and half the party. The cake that got destroyed was for a child whos non verbal autistic and it was his first ever birthday party!!! Defy needs a better way to make sure this NEVER happens to another child

So sky zone is for everyone I asked management myself before even buying membership. The place is over run by toddlers and little kids which is great they need a place to blow off their energy and get exercise and socialization I am totally for that but I'm sick and tired of the judgment from the parent or guardian of these kids acting like you have no business being there with your child. It really sucks and it reminds me of Colorado and California with their entitled behavior. So I canceled my subscription I'm not interested in being around nasty people if it's a choice. I have seen grown ass adults with their children and teens my daughter is in her early 20s but looks like a 16 year old. And we just want to have a place to have fun and socialize but this is not it. They have fantastic activities really fun things to climb on and jump or swing but no specific age group has direct access and if this is a policy they want they need to make it very accessible to be known this is only for little children. Or maybe have schedules where certain age groups have access without the bullcaca. Also I felt uncomfortable trying to jump on a trampoline in one spot for fear some little kid is going to run past and I might step on them or fall myself and hurt them by accident. I really think that they should have a schedule where certain time is age appropriate so accidents don't happen and everyone can enjoy it. That being said the staff is nice but we were harassed by an older woman with her toddler and I wish someone would have approached her and said something because she doesn't have ownership rights to anything and we were not even in her business she was just offended because we didn't fit the cookie cutter.

We visited over winter break with our extended families but planned to have only a handful of…read morejumpers - 2 adults, 4 kids (7, 5, 3, 3) and an infant who is barely walking. We chose the "extreme fun" pass for everyone and were told that the infant would be the same price ($24.99) for everyone. What? She can't even walk. That's crazy. But okay fine, a policy is a policy, she can watch. So our total for 6 people was $150 + socks ($3 each) + tax but wait! There's a 5.5% fee for using a credit card so another $8+. The website casually mentions a "discounted cash price" but a 5% upcharge is absurd. In 2026 who carries around that kind of cash? When we asked about this up charge, the attendant grew very defensive and began trying to explain that the credit card company requires the charge and that it's not a fee they can eat as a business expense because they have to pay for Virginia gaming taxes or something. Look, I get it, I work in customer service too and don't always agree with my employer's policies (but still have to support them) but this man was acting like the fee would come directly out of his paycheck and being quite aggressive about it. We aren't stupid and know that businesses have out of pocket costs but pretending like they need to be passed on to the consumer at an exact 1:1 ratio is silly, ESPECIALLY when you're charging $3 for a $0.10 pair of socks. Anyways, we paid and kept it moving. The kids liked jumping and then the older girls liked the climbing walls. It wasn't very crowded and most of the bigger kids/teens were corralled in one of the dodgeball courts. I assume this is where all of the employees were too because there was absolutely no one available anywhere else on the floor. Not a huge deal because we had plenty of adults and our younger kids were safe to play on the other surfaces. They really liked the small playground (although it really should be more like 8 and under, 12 is pretty big for an area obviously for younger kids). The foam pits in the jousting area and ladder section were disappointing because the foam is old and crusty off and pretty gross but the trampoline parts were fairly clean. There is a section with "ninja" kind of activities that seemed to be an afterthought and had a lot of unfinished wood and a dangerous open area to the bottom of the trampoline springs that we stayed clear of but could be a big issue for older kids. When we were all getting tired of jumping and wanted to do the arcade and bumper cars is when things started going downhill again. We asked the person at the front for help with the bumper cars and he said someone on the floor could help but there was no one to be found. One employee at the front desk, one at the snack bar, and not a soul on the floor, no one at the climbing wall, and not a soul in the arcade/big slide area. They finally managed to find someone but were visibly annoyed so it was an uncomfortable situation. After we were done doing arcade games we went to the prize area to cash in our points for trinkets. The kids mostly played games that didn't get many points so I knew we wouldn't have a lot but we had 3 cards and wanted to combine the points to get a couple very small items. There were other families there with a gazillion points though and the man working there seemed super overwhelmed by the process and focused on their high ticket items, which is understandable. He told us the individual amounts but then when he was combining them the amount was somehow less than they were alone? He kept adding them but as other people came up he'd start doing things with them and mixing up everyone's cards. It was super confusing for everyone, especially our 2 kids who kept picking out treats and then being told actually no wrong amount. He finally came up with a number that was in the same ballpark as the initial individual cards and we got a couple bouncy balls. Overall, this was quite a day. The jumping part was fine but the customer service overall needs some serious help. They are obviously significantly understaffed which is annoying at best but potentially very dangerous with no one on the floor. The credit card situation is annoying too and should be more clear on the website, but truly the ability to take cards is a business convenience and expense that I expect a business to absorb.

I tried to handle this on a personal level with the owner prior to posting a review…read more To start this seemed like a great place so we booked my son birthday party here for March 7th. We booked a basic party package which based off the website appears to include, trampoline park, play gym, and comes with pizza and drinks. Once the party got closer I got a call from the owner, to which she had to leave a message. Once I tried getting back into contact with the owner it seemed near impossible. I did finally talk to them via text the day prior and they had an employee call me back. Sounded like we were all set to have our party. When you book you get emails confirming and a virtual invitation, do NOT use the invitation it includes their old address and brings everyone to the wrong location. Their new location is located on the website in a very small box stating they are moving and "closed". No worries here we pivoted and made it in time for the party. We when arrived the location is SO HARD to find, no signs, or indication that is the location. Super small parking lot, with black spray on the front of the building. Again, if they were moving ok no worries. Once we got settled, and we asked for the game cards that we were told were part of our package. We got those and the kids started playing. After about 10 minutes we realized we did not see the trampoline park, or play gym so we asked. To which we were informed were not set or available for play. Now mind you, based off their website the "contract" which the owner continues to bring up in responses this was NOT made clear that these were not available. There were at least 3 other families that also had parties planned this day who also, were not aware of this. Let along squeezing a lot of people in a small space as family was told they "overbooked" on accident. The staff was handling this the best they could but were very stressed at the questions and anger they were facing from those that had booked. I felt horrible for them, especially when I found out the owners husband had been their the entire time and did not address anyone until he was called out by one of the mothers there. At this time he came out acting clueless as to what was going on and could not give any answers. When we were leaving the husband did come up to my husband and talk to him stating "yeah I guess we did open a bit sooner than we should have" to me this indicates they knew exactly what they were doing. Moving forward I tried reaching out to the owner for a full refund of what we paid. I was met with the offer of $50 and free day passes (for an attraction with no actual open date). We declined based off the misinformation and lack of professionalism around still being open and the disappointed caused from their actions. The owner has responded and stated based off "contract" agreed to, and the fact that we stayed for our party time (which is outlandish, as where else were we supposed to go when we had party guest and our kiddo ready to play with his friends) as to why we won't be getting a refund. I truly feel for these owners but do better. This is very gross business and to do families this way is unprofessional. I do not recommend this facility at this time, in the future maybe once they get it together and ensure they clearly state what you are paying for. Side note to this: treat your employees better, these poor young adults were about in tears. I tipped them both before I left for handling themselves so well during the chaos they had thrown there way by others and thanked them repeatedly for their time and efforts. Update I'm regards to the owners response. Partial refund as I stated was $50 and free passes. Again, we have no intentions on coming back. The "arcade" had about 5-6 playing games and then claw machines that were disappointing in the sense they were barely strong enough to pick up the large items within the machine. Overall, poor experience. I do not believe the employees are treated kindly based off conversations with the and watching them struggle. Regardless of your husband being involved he was present and should have offered some support as he was present in the building. Wish you best in this endeavor.

This is a tough one, because I hate to write less than satisfactory review for a small business…read more The positive - my daughter really loves playing here. She loves the slides, the trampolines and the ball pit area in the toddler spot. However, most of my thoughts aren't as positive. To have not been here that many years it looks so run down. We haven't been in a year and it seems like 15 years. It's dirty, things are broken, and again.. DIRTY. Spaces like this just take daily maintenance to keep them great, such as wiping down the walls, tightening screws before the item breaks, scrubbing services that are high contact. (I have worked at a children's museum and know that a place like this can be hard to keep up when it is well loved, but day to day care makes it much easier as well as having staff not just glued to the front desk) I guess I was more disappointed because we arrived right as they opened and you can tell nothing was vacuumed from the day before, or simple things like picking foam scraps off the trampoline. We likely won't come back anytime soon, but if you are not a clean freak like me - your toddler will probably enjoy it!

Luckily a lady came by after a while and asked if we were attending a party and let us check in through the self service kiosk... In my opinion, someone should be on standby as guests for parties are arriving to help them get checked in quickly and taken to where the party is taking place. When you book a party, you select a time slot, why not have the party coordinator receive the guests as they come?? It would make the process a whole lot easier.. I have not been to Urban Air since my son had his Birthday there a few years ago, but I can see a decline in the cleanliness of the establishment. There are just a bunch of young kids working here that have no conflict resolution skills, the place was dirty. I did like that they had everything set up before hand for the party, that was nice. They provided the socks and wrist bands for the kids, they provided the pizza as well. Overall, despite how I felt, my son and his friends had a great time, and I guess that's all that matters!
