So I went here for a consultation. Why wasn't sure what to expect, but made my consultation…read moreappointment after work for one day. Things they didn't tell me. I didn't see any wheelchair accessibility for a second floor. I had to walk upstairs. Maybe there's an elevator but it's clearly not located anywhere or where anybody can see it lol. It felt... Corporate? High cell tactics a little pushy. The girl who met with me clearly, had super plump, her lips up with her plumping medication or gloss right before she met me, and made sure her skin looked absolutely flawless before she met with a potential client. It just seemed very hard, Cell. I decided that I would ask information, but I would not be using their services because she seemed kind of pushy about their membership. Mind you, I had made this appointment a while ago, but they had to change it because something had happened with her son that she needed to pick him up and couldn't stay in the office, so I graciously changed the date which was fine. That happens to everyone. She kept pushing at the appointment to start procedures that I had been inquiring about. I wasn't ready to do that. I needed to ruminate. And decide if I wanna move forward. All in all, I think if you want this type of service in a place that allows you a monthly membership, this might be for you, it was not for me.

Dr. Frieling is nice and high energy. However, she seemed a bit defensive when I came back 3 weeks after my Botox treatment to ask for a touch more in one area to make both sides of my forehead even. I wasn't upset about it at all, as I know our anatomy doesn't respond symmetrically. I wasn't accusatory in any way. So I was surprised at her reaction. But even if I did express disappointment, I would not expect a physician to react defensively. She didn't want to give me more on one side, said the results are exactly what she wanted to achieve. So I asked her if she thought it looked even. And she said "well, no", and then proceeded to give me a touch more, which evened it out after a week or so. Maybe she was just having a bad day... who knows? But that was my experience. She has a lot of positive reviews so take my review as just one person's experience. I just want to feel that I can ask for fixes, or at least have a constructive conversation, if I feel the treatment didn't accomplish what I wanted it to. Also her "About Dr. G" section on her website makes it sound like she went to Harvard when she did not. "Harvard trained". She is triple board certified, which is terrific, and has gotten a lot of press due to her PR efforts. She seems to be highly knowledgeable and skilled, as one would expect. She has a very "LA vibe" to her, which is not the vibe I want. (And I really like the city of LA - nothing against it. But I don't want to look overdone.) Also, her nurses do a lot of the treatments, and I just prefer a physician do them. So I will stick with a dermatologist office rather than this med-spa.

I have been getting Botox to my forehead periodically at ideal image for about 10-12 dollars a unit so it would cost approx 300 per session. I went to GFaceMD to see if there was a better, longer lasting solution as I didn't have time to go for Botox every 3mo with my busy schedule. What an enormous costly mistake! First you have to pay a 175 consultation fee (normally this is free) just to be told to continue to do the same thing I was already doing. Then their Botox prices are outrageous. You have to become a "VIP member" to get the 16 dollar per unit price (already much more than I was paying elsewhere without a membership). The membership has a 50 fee and then a 6mo mandatory period of deductions (350 minimum price). You can only use you membership funds at their business and they set the rules how how and when you can use your money. With the "vip member" pricing I paid 544 for the same Botox that usually cost me 300. I tried to schedule a follow up visit to use my 300 in membership funds toward some more overpriced Botox but my child got sick and they charged my credit card 200 more as a rescheduling fee!!!! Total cost for one area of Botox (300 value) =. 175 consultation, 544 Botox, 350 vip membership, 200 rescheduling = 1,269. Total rip off!!!!!! Save your money and go literally anywhere else!!!

During the visit she diluted the vile of Botox like I've never seen anyone do and I am a veteran at getting these procedures done. Weeks past and I still had full movement so I called to let them know at which time Maddie FaceTimed me and she told me that she would be looking into the lot number for the Botox because I in fact did have complete full movement of all of the areas she injected. I had a death within my family so I couldn't make the follow up appointment and I honestly had the worst experience my intuition was screaming, and red flags were flying with the way she diluted the Botox powder, so I asked for at least a partial refund at Which time they told me to get in contact with Groupon. I spoke to the manager via text who told me that sometime had passed since the procedure and there's nothing more that they could do, I also bought it through Groupon so I'd have to get a refund through them.
