This med-spa has friendly, welcoming staff. The place is designed nicely. The cost tends to be higher there, however, than at other cosmetic dermatology offices I have been to. Dr. Frieling is nice and high energy. However, she seemed a bit defensive when I came back 3 weeks after my Botox treatment to ask for a touch more in one area to make both sides of my forehead even. I wasn't upset about it at all, as I know our anatomy doesn't respond symmetrically. I wasn't accusatory in any way. So I was surprised at her reaction. But even if I did express disappointment, I would not expect a physician to react defensively. She didn't want to give me more on one side, said the results are exactly what she wanted to achieve. So I asked her if she thought it looked even. And she said "well, no", and then proceeded to give me a touch more, which evened it out after a week or so. Maybe she was just having a bad day... who knows? But that was my experience. She has a lot of positive reviews so take my review as just one person's experience. I just want to feel that I can ask for fixes, or at least have a constructive conversation, if I feel the treatment didn't accomplish what I wanted it to. Also her "About Dr. G" section on her website makes it sound like she went to Harvard when she did not. "Harvard trained". She is triple board certified, which is terrific, and has gotten a lot of press due to her PR efforts. She seems to be highly knowledgeable and skilled, as one would expect. She has a very "LA vibe" to her, which is not the vibe I want. (And I really like the city of LA - nothing against it. But I don't want to look overdone.) Also, her nurses do a lot of the treatments, and I just prefer a physician do them. So I will stick with a dermatologist office rather than this med-spa. read more

I went to GFaceMD in Andover as a first-time patient with very high expectations and agreed to a roughly $13,000 treatment plan at that initial visit. I routinely invest in high-end aesthetic care, so I am familiar with this type of service and cost. The consultation, however, felt more critical than collaborative: there were repeated negative comments about my lips, and when I asked a straightforward question about under-eye filler, I was met with a sarcastic 'I don't have a crystal ball' response. The overall in-person tone did not match the warm, approachable image that initially drew me in from their online presence. After this, I reached out to schedule another appointment to address additional areas and to refine what we had already done. Instead of offering a thoughtful follow-up plan or even a conversation about my concerns, I was informed by email that their 'approach and philosophy' were not a good fit for my 'goals and expectations' and that they would not book any further appointments with me. In other words, after a significant financial commitment on a first visit and a genuine attempt to continue care, I was dismissed as a patient by form email. I'm sharing this so prospective patients understand not just the marketing, but how this practice may handle ongoing care and feedback from clients who spend substantially on these treatments. read more

I am shocked my the number of hidden fees and extra charges for going here. It is not worth it. Go anywhere else!!! I have been getting Botox to my forehead periodically at ideal image for about 10-12 dollars a unit so it would cost approx 300 per session. I went to GFaceMD to see if there was a better, longer lasting solution as I didn't have time to go for Botox every 3mo with my busy schedule. What an enormous costly mistake! First you have to pay a 175 consultation fee (normally this is free) just to be told to continue to do the same thing I was already doing. Then their Botox prices are outrageous. You have to become a "VIP member" to get the 16 dollar per unit price (already much more than I was paying elsewhere without a membership). The membership has a 50 fee and then a 6mo mandatory period of deductions (350 minimum price). You can only use you membership funds at their business and they set the rules how how and when you can use your money. With the "vip member" pricing I paid 544 for the same Botox that usually cost me 300. I tried to schedule a follow up visit to use my 300 in membership funds toward some more overpriced Botox but my child got sick and they charged my credit card 200 more as a rescheduling fee!!!! Total cost for one area of Botox (300 value) =. 175 consultation, 544 Botox, 350 vip membership, 200 rescheduling = 1,269. Total rip off!!!!!! Save your money and go literally anywhere else!!! read more

I've Been GLOWING flawlessly Since my first hydro facial with R.N Maggie 17 days ago. Apart from the best satisfying customer service, the hydro after feeling itself will make you want to write a 5 star review instantly. But I've noticed in the past I tend to speak too soon, So I waited to see if there was really a difference compared to my regular everyday facial cleanser routine (as an African American Male).Which is African black soap followed by rose water, an in-grown hair serum, topped with a light layer of either coconut oil or Shea butter. What have I noticed after GFace Hydro-facial? Definitely noticed my annoying ingrown hairs have decreased Drastically. My face has never felt so light, clean, and soothing all at once. Overall the service has been very satisfying and long lasting. So it's only right I leave a 5 star review as a new highly satisfied client. This office is a very unaccommodating place with staff that expects its patients to jump through hoops while paying. In this covid era, I must go in for a visit and pay for a consultation first. After setting up this appointment by phone and giving out all of my information including credit card, I received an email saying that my appointment cannot be honored unless I set up an online account. Huh? Forms cannot be emailed - too much trouble I guess. I am not even sure if my needs can be met - as I think the staff answer online questions instead of the Doctor. I am not impressed. read more
