This would have been great if I had gotten the cut I asked for, but I didn't. Sure, it wasn't a bad haircut but it wasn't what I wanted and the styling tricks didn't help. However, the stylist herself was nice, the products used were good and again the cut wasn't terrible. All in all not the place for me.

I asked for curtain bangs, and showed a photo with the layers I wanted saying "I don't want bangs across my forehead, just layered out away from my face". I got uneven bangs and they were half across my forehead, half curtain. Incredibly uneven. See below photo. I was really surprised at checkout when they said my haircut was $82. If I knew it was going to be this much, I would've gone to an actual salon and gotten my hair done how I wanted it. The second I got in my car, I had to fix it (with kids scissors). Other than the poorly cut bangs, the layers in the back are okay. I just really don't think this was worth the amount I paid. I hope I can get some sort of refund but I don't think that's likely. Edit: As the day went on, I thought more about how they claimed I was charged extra for long hair. I wanted to point out while I was getting my hair brushed, the stylist was starting from the very top and was quickly and roughly tugging on my hair, causing knots that she was not careful with. Long hair is supposed to be brushed from the bottom, going up. You should never start at the top, it just causes more damage and tangles! So considering I was charged extra for having long hair, I was not taken care of properly. I'm so upset that this was my experience today and everybody at work and home has been telling me that $82 is INSANE for the service and I was scammed because I am a young girl. I never go to salons and I think this is truly my last time trusting another person with my hair.

I have since lived in Santa Fe, and the Boston area, and have only gone to very expensive salons to meet the standards of what I had in California. I have not found it until now. Since the pandemic I have been doing my own highlights, and 2 days before being in a wedding I messed my hair up royally with bleach. I called them with one day to spare with blotches all over my head, and they squeezed me in with Sarah without time for a consultation to help me fix it before the wedding. There wasn't even an appointment open, but they stepped up to help and made time for me. Without an official appointment, this was supposed to be a "quick fix", but It's probably the best highlights job I've ever had. Sarah is an absolute magician. She is incredible! Trust me, if you could see the before pictures, you would be amazed. It was bad. Like really bad. Thank you Sarah! The additional point I want to make about this place is the glowing and wonderful energy of the salon. It's so vibrant, and everyone is so nice. As soon as you walk in there, you feel such a wonderful community of talented women who are really good at what they do, and just incredibly friendly to each other and their guests.
