Wanted to leave a review on Renuity's website but they don't have that option, so I'm writing it here. Kitchen was remodeled years ago by FHIA (now Renuity) and at first we were happy. But now one of the cabinets is starting to detach from the wall and some of the laminate is starting to peel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the representatives came to our house trying to sell other remodeling upgrades and I showed him the issues with our kitchen remodel and he informed to call the support number[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the number and they said a tech would reach out to schedule within 24 hours. I would use anyone besides them. I had windows installed at my home 10926 leder Lane Orlando Florida 32825 with this company in 2021 late last year I found out that my windows were installed incorrectly that they didn't flange the windows properly so they ended up having a leak. The week caused the stucco to separate from the back of my house. I had to have it repaired it cost me approximately $5,000. I reached out them to be reimbursed for it. After several weeks of back and forth with them they just told me today that they do not warranty that type of work and that it was my responsibility to have the stucco repaired immediately after the windows were done as is their policy. Bad experience with fhia! Would never use them again!!! The field manager made broken promises. The job was messed up and even the loan application. So, my wife and I was offered $500.00 dollars as a courtesy because of all the mistakes made. We never received it. Hands down we had a great experience for the first phase of our window replacement job. Pricing was competitive with other companies and we felt very comfortable with everyone we spoke with. Our sales rep took a tremendous amount of time explaining all the pros and cons of what high impact windows can offer including the solar heat reduction. As an added benefit we learned how easy it was going to be to clean them. Francisco came out for the final measure and took time to explain how installation was going to proceed. Installation day went very smooth, and installers we clean and thorough. We were stepped through on how the City Inspection would go and happy to say, everything went as planned. It was a "no brainer" when we were ready to finish the second phase of window replacement. We struggled about doing it because we would be replacing the original, wavy glass 90+ year old windows. But, the new windows showed us how much more energy efficient it was and the sound dampening was tremendous. We were so pleased with the first set of windows, one year later Leica our sales rep, came out to give us the estimate immediately. Francisco has been out again for the final measure and was happy to see how nicely the first phase of windows looks. The salesman promised great windows, installed quickly, with little disruption. The crew that came did a good job, but it all fell apart when the factory built my slider incorrectly. It took 3 extra weeks to get that corrected. The "supervisor" was useless. He promised work, but failed to follow thru. We are not happy with the process as it played out. This company is CRAP!!!! First, they come here to give me an estimate on kitchen cabinets after I told them I will do it myself and not buy anything from them, which they didn't tell the salesman so he watered 3 hours of both of our times and then was rude when he left. Now they call me 5 times a day and hang up when I answer. When I call back to ask them to stop calling me, they hang up on me and then call me again 15 minutes later! Scam company! Consumer beware! This company has been using spoofing technology to constantly call my cell phone every day since June 2, 2024 using a different number each time. They never leave a message when I decline the calls. The Caller ID shows FHIA Remodeling each time from a different Florida number. I never gave them my number and am not interested in doing business with this company. I have been on The Do Not Call Registry since 2014. This company even resorted to texting me twice on 6/02/24 asking me how many windows I have in my house. I replied and told them to stop texting me, and I am not interested in anything they are selling, then I blocked their text messages. Since then, I have been getting 6-10 phone calls from FHIA Remodeling everyday. I reported them to the FTC and the Florida Attorney General. I would never recommend this company to anyone because of their shady and unscrupulous business practices. They are just out to harass possible customers. After my new window installation, no inspection was scheduled. Nearly 2 years later, and after the installation of a second set of windows, we were told the permit was still open because there was no inspection done. Shortly after that call, the opening mechanism on one of the windows failed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called and called Orlando. No answer. I put in on line emergency requests which I received no responses to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The day of the inspection, Karla Rodrigues came out, saw the issue and only then, because the inspector was on the way, called a technician out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The technician said the window could not be opened and would probably need to be replaced. The inspector came and after seeing the inoperable window, cancelled the appointment to give FHIA a chance to get it fixed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were told 6 weeks. 3 months later, NO CONTACT FROM FHIA. I bought the best windows available in 2017. The "One Day Install" took 5 days. They used two different subcontractors, and neither were very good. I was told it would be a turnkey operation, with me having to do nothing. After the 5 day install, 1/2 of the house was nice white composite frames, one was cheap unfinished wood frames. Also one screen was broken. Many screw caps weren't installed, and I had to finish these. I complained. I asked for a new subtractor. They sent the same one. This one day fix took three days. I inspected the work and found one frame top still unfinished. My patio was scratch due to the subcontractor dragging a ladder. I had major cleanup after the work, wood, sawdust, sealant container caps and glass. I complained and it was resolved. Then, the County Building Inspector found one broken stabilizer on the inside of one window. After 4 trips to my home and 14 months, this was finally resolved. Customer Service Replies: - you have the wrong office - that Regional Manager quit - your part is on back order - the wrong part keeps showing up The windows are great. Buyer beware. I am currently under contract. And when it's time to put my windows in, they said I have rotten wood and I have to hire a Contractor to repair the wood . No, nobody answers your call. They're giving me the runaround at this point I just want a refund, please, if you're getting your windows dying. Go to another company after they get your money. I hired the Tampa Location https://www.fhiaremodeling.com/ to redo my shower. They did sloppy work, couldn't wait to get paid (before the job was done), and once they were paid, stopped returning phone calls. The job cost over $10K and I can't use it yet because the water is not hot enough. The sink water in the same bathroom gets plenty hot and so does the other bathroom. The mixing valve is faulty in the new shower and I either take them to court, or hire a competent to complete the job correctly. I chose the latter. We have used this company on three houses for windows, Doors and cool wall paint job Tex Coat. All hurricane level. We had them paint our new house with the Tex Coast paint job, $33,000 dollars which was nuts. In one year, the paint job that supposed to be your last one is bubbling off the wall due to bad prep work. I called for the first time for warrantee they told me the paint would be free, but the labor was 600.00 dollars to fix what they screwed up. I have told all my friends not to use this company because they don't do the job correctly and want you to pay for their screw up. We have been long time costumers of this company, and I notified my friends so they will pass the word, this company is not truthful and want to get paid for their bad work. Never again. We are moving end of the year. I got another company to do new hurricane doors, Windows and shark coat paint job, who also does the garage floor, with warrantee as long as we own the house with no coast to us. I will start out by saying I do love my windows and doors. However, I was told by Whitney, the sales rep, that I would be eligible for the Florida Home rebate and would receive 10k back from the government for the purchase of my windows and doors that cost $25k. She assured me that if the application were submitted I was guaranteed the rebate. Unfortunately, this was not so. The government ran out of funding! The process was started in early June and I was told installation would be in August. This was pushed out to September, inspection took a few weeks, and by the time it was all said and done I did not get my 10k. I would have never made this purchase, especially sine the prices were inflated. I was willing to pay a little more since I was counting on this rebate. I will be reaching out for legal advice to see if I have any recourse. read more

This is about the FHIA office in Tampa off Benjamin Rd./Hillsborough Ave. Hurricane windows are expensive. After listening to multiple presentations I ordered hurricane windows from FHIA Tampa in April 2021. The first installation date was backed up to Sept. 2021 Several of the windows the installers brought out were *the wrong size* due to mis-measurement or factory mistake when made. Obviously they were not checked before loading the delivery truck and installers. So serveral windows were not put in. My replacements were sent to "the back of the ordering line" for re-manufacture. The next installation was in February 2022 for the remaining windows. Again there were discrepancies but only with the screen sizes for the largest unit. Frustrated about the lack of basic order checking I allowed the installation and ok'd the offer to get new screens. Mistakes happen but this is what they do. I did get the correct ones. The installers were good. No issues with them. The office gal was also good and efficient. The supervisor "J" however is a problem. Because of the delays and mistakes he verbally offered a small refund. After following up with "J" several times *he blocked my text messages.* That's his style of customer service. Since I still want to order hurricane doors "J" lost FHIA's chance at that order. That's my idea of screw you too. I would suggest you look elsewhere and not buy from FHIA in Tampa. About the product... It's acceptable but there is one thing...It doesn't seem to perform as well as told in the presentation. I'm specifically referring to the argon gas protection against incoming sunlight. Heat from passive sunlight is reduced greatly but still is felt in the afternoon sun. FHIA has Custom Windows in Ocala making the product for them. Check the details on who makes windows you're considering. Positives: I liked the new and larger "buck strips" put in on both sides of the new windows for greater strength attaching the frame to the house. I also liked the construction and strength of the product manufacture and the 5-6" screws used to install the windows. The warranty seems good but a storm may test that.
