I was extremely disappointed today with my first appointment. When I entered, holding my two year old grandson, the receptionist did not greet me. She did not even smile. I told her who I was. She proceeded to tell me that they would "see if this would work". She continued to make about three more passive aggressive statements about my grandson... who had not made ONE sound. She made no other comment at all but those statements. It was at that moment that I told her she was acting premature (having not witnessed one moment of "disruption" from my grandson) and that her behavior was very unprofessional. Unfortunately because of the complete disrespect I received they lost my business as I was unwilling to proceed if the staff was going to interact in such a manner. read more

Unfortunately, this Med Spa is beyond its business prime. I've been a client for over a decade and have made the decision not to return. Business issues like having to repeatedly reschedule my appointments at the last minute due to staffing changes, and repeatedly sending me home from laser treatments because not enough time was reserved for the appointment plague their operation. Only after clients complained of infections did they add a round of antibiotics to the administration protocol of their newest, most expensive laser introduction. Bogus treatments like the "epiblade" shouldn't even be in their repertoire. This med spa is DONE. Go to a different med spa in the valley with a staff member who has at minimum an MD. read more

Tawni should never handle a laser! I had scars on my chin and she obliterated any pigment I had left and left me looking like "Droopy". She also put filler between my eyes that bulged and never went away after over a year and a half. I asked about the filler many times with no response and her answer to the laser was that my skin was dry and I needed filler! I spent almost $4,000 at BIE to try to get this fixed but the lack of pigment is permanent! Buyer beware...if she hasn't messed you up yet just give her time! read more

I paid a pretty penny for laser hair removal for my underarms and bikini area. After my full round of treatments, I was still seeing hair growth. I called and was told that the esthetician who had performed my treatments had done them incorrectly, so they had me come back in for another full round. I wish I hadn't wasted my time or money on this place, and had gone to another spa that offered a guarantee. I'm still shaving every other day. It's as if I didn't have anything done at all. I went in to have my lips done for the first time, and she really wanted to know what I wanted, asked for pictures, showed me my lips structure and what things we can do with it. I enjoy my experience at Renu Medispa. Hilary and Staff make me feel welcome right when I walk in. They always have a fresh bouquet of flowers right there on the front desk. In the back waiting room, it is clean and chic. They serve fresh cold water and hot tea. The whole ambiance really sets the mood for the spa experience. I have been going to Ciarah for 3+ years now, and my skins has really turned itself around. Genetically, I have terrible skin that is acne prone and sun damaged. Every time I go, Ciarah is always great to give me advice on how to treat my irritations and also has suggestions on what to use. I was reluctant to have the treartment because of my aging, sensitive skin and the down time required for recovery. However, I am very pleased with the exceptional outcome as well as the quick recovery. Through consultation, I learned that HaloX is the first fractional laser that uses both ablative and non-ablative technology and this unique combination creates a "facelift" by targeting both the top layer of the skin and getting to the deeper layers, creating mini cellular injuries that trigger collegan and elastic production. Extremely disappointed with the integrity of the owner of the spa. I have been a client for two years, have had multiple injections of Botox and Dysport and never have I had a"mishap". This time on May 9th I was scheduled with a different person than usual whom I never met and was new to the spa and I am left with my left eye drooping significantly. When I visited with Tawny to show her the damage I was told "this happens very rarely but when the injector pulls the needle out a drop or two may spill out and fall into the nerve causing the eye to droop." I asked her how she was going to rectify the situation but Tawny would not take responsibility for the poor injection technique that was used by the new injector, refused to refund any of the money I spent and told me that "she felt bad for me but would not issue me even a partial refund because that would be admitting they did not give me the best care they possibly could." Later, the esthetician apologized for running behind schedule, as she had to spend extra time with one of her clients who had held her up with a bunch of questions. I didn't mind though as long as they hadn't forgotten me. She was very professional, thorough and gentle. Then when I went to pay, the cashier gave me $25 off for waiting longer than usual.
