I've been here several times for my annual checkup. I have had several basal cells removed before (not here), so I never skip. I find it odd that even though I have to point out several places of concern, no notes or pictures are taken. The PA also stands several feet away and is super quick with the exam. This last time was the worst though. After glancing at my face, they take the nitrogen out and put on squirt on my forehead. They said, "got a spot". I didn't and don't have any on the center of my forehead. That one squirt didn't even leave a red spot and I was, and my insurance was billed for 'destruction of a lesion". Needless to say, I won't go back. You definitely can tell it is a merry-go-round of annual 'checkups'. Great way to make money, bad way for actual patient care. read more

I have been using Keller for the past 3 yrs for a variety of health needs, finding the care reliable and the staff attentive. Clearly over the past year things have unfortunately slipped there and the days of old clearly are past, sad to say. Case in point: I called over a month ago and set an appointment with my regular care giver for an issue that appeared to require a biopsy .. plus a face to face catch up with ongoing treatment for a couple of issues. For me the drive is a long one, over 40 minutes but I was always ready to go the extra mile for quality care. I checked in with the front desk like always and was promptly taken back to the exam room and seated, my PT did the usual what's up Q & A, took the info and said the care giver would be right in. That's when things went south, apparently my regular care giver (NP) was not in and one of the office PAs walked in. Needless to say I was a bit taken back and asked the begging question "and you are ?" Come to find out my care giver does not work on Fridays (begs the question, why was I scheduled to see her on Friday over a month ago). Since this new clinician had never met me nor were they of the same credentialing/care giving level, I opted to say thank you when she offered me the option to opt out of the visit and pass on the care. When I went to the front desk to check out and share my experience the Admin said the same thing to me, "oh the NP does not work on Fridays," hello .. why was I set up for the appointment was in my thinking? I had to then ask that my office visit be a no charge (since I was not able to meet my scheduled provider). At no time during my visit did anyone in the office offer any admission of a "slip up" on their end (clearly scheduling dropped the ball) or offer me any apologies for the mix up and my wasted time & expense of driving 30 miles. In fairness I was offered by the front desk to reschedule with my care giver, unfortunately 45 days out - YIKES. My response was .. I think I will look elsewhere, wished them a nice day and left .. not to return thank you. So if you are looking for a clinic where the patient is the priority and staff strive to be leaders in this effort, you may want to investigate elsewhere. read more

Came in for an urgent issue. Arrived to my appointment on time and waited 5 min for the person in front of me. Told at the front my a receptionist that I was late, did not arrive 15 min prior to first appointment (no one told me to do so) and forced to reschedule 3 weeks out. Soo annoyed. read more

Took hubby here today and we had a great visit. Dr. K. agreed that the mole was suspicious and he was able to remove it today. Hubby didn't feel a thing. Our experience was great! We appreciated: - the very nicely appointed office and waiting area. Roomy and comfortable... and clean! - the friendly and helpful staff. - the ease with which we got our appointment. - the doctor's willingness to answer all our questions without making us feel like we were rushing him. - the doctor's laid-back manner. No stuffiness here! - the check-in process was easy because the forms were e-mailed to us so I could fill them out ahead of time. No filling out lengthy forms on a clipboard! (We do the doctor thing a lot and I'm really sick of clipboards!) He's close (yeay!) and accepts our insurance (yeay!), but he's also terrific. I'd recommend to anyone. I bet he'd be great with teenaged patients who have skin/acne issues. read more

I'm very disappointed. My dermatologist retired and I was in search of a new dermatologist. I had a an appointment at 2 PM and they asked me to get there early to fill out paperwork. I got there 13 minutes early and they told me I needed to reschedule my appointment because they had a strict policy that they would have to reschedule if I was not there 15 minutes early. I was never told about this policy. I left work for this appointment and I think this is totally unreasonable especially because I was never told. The person at the reception desk was rude and unfortunately I have nothing nice to say about Keller Skin Care or the way I was treated. When I called to speak to someone about this, I just got voicemails. I have never been treated this way before by a medical office and I have never written a negative review on Yelp prior to this one. read more

You need music in your lobby. Hearing everyone's personal information should be a HIPAA problem... plus it would not feel so sterile. As for care... I like Keller and Cohen. I wish they were more available in appointments to fully maximize time vs having to make another appointment for just looking at something small.. like burn a barnicle off. read more

Scheduled an 8:30am appt with assurance I would get in quickly as I have a meeting at 9am nearby. Arrived 10 min early, it is now after 9am and I am still waiting in the lobby. Was already thinking of changing as I was unimpressed with my first visit. Will change for sure now. read more

I know that with all medical procedures the results will vary. Unfortunately, my results weren't good. I went to the Eagle Road office to have a dark mole on my foot looked at and a full body by Heather which she was very thorough. Unfortunately, since the mole on my foot looked questionable Dr. Keller did a punch biopsy. This resulted in an electrical shock up my leg. I now have damage to a nerve in my foot. The good news is it wasn't skin cancer. I'm trying to be optimistic as I deal with numbness to the top of my foot and toes. I limped for several months. I think the thing that troubled me the most was his lack of empathy. He's a nice guy but must not be familiar with feet. He did however send me to another doctor to try to repair the nerve damage. Nevertheless, there has been no resolution and of course no follow up. He has the nerve! read more

My appointment was at 9 and it was 10:15 until I was finally seen by a doctor. I felt rushed during the visit, which the total time I was with the doctor was 10 minutes. To top off the terrible office visit, they called me almost 1 year after my appointment telling me that I owed them 105.00 dollars and I never even received a statement. This call came about 5 days before Christmas and they offered me a 20% discount if I would pay before the 26th but I was out of town. Merry Christmas!!! Go to a professional dermatologist who knows how to send out billings and who knows how to treat clients in a professional manner. read more

On my first visit, I was 15 minutes early and I waited over an hour (past my appointment time, not my arrival time) in the lobby before the called me up to the desk and told me that they wouldn't be able to see me and they had to reschedule. I rescheduled. On my second visit, the wait was still long but they were able to see me. The actual visit with the P.A. was far shorter than my wait in the lobby. Today, I was six minutes late for my appointment which was my bad--traffic was horrible and I should have called, which I said at check it. The receptionist was rude and harsh saying, "I just don't think we're going to be able to get you in. I'll have to check." The waiting room was full of people, and I didn't enjoy being chided in front of them. She then called me up to the desk a couple minutes later, and told me there was just no way they could get me in today and rescheduled. Her tone was condescending and absolutely unnecessary. I will be cancelling the appointment and finding a new doctor. I hated the way I was treated today, especially after their lack of care for my time during earlier visits. Being belittled by the receptionist today was the last straw. I highly suggest going elsewhere for your skincare needs, this place is not worth it. read more

I was a new patient excited to have some cosmetic medical dermatology. The office seemed Current on the procedures they offer. However, I showed up for my first appointment 8 minuets late. They took 10 minuets to get back to me on weather or not they would be able to see me that day. The secretary finally told me they would not be able to see me today. However I was the only patient in the entire waiting room! There were two other cars in the parking lot when I showed up. I called on a Friday to schedule my appointment figuring it would be a few months booked out for a new Patient. Instead they got me in that first Monday morning after I had called. Which tells me they are hurting for patients... I'm not surprise now with how bad they treat new coming patience! The sad thing is... I was so excited to be a patient! I even made my son an appointment and my husband an appointment... Today they lost me and my entire family as future patients! Sounds to me like they will just keep hurting for patients from here on out. FYI- I have NEVER made a review anywhere. It just proves how bad they were to make me so passionate about letting other people know what kind of service they will be getting. read more
