I switched off of Dr Feezell after I had an emotional breakdown in his office and he basically said…read more"yea you have a lot going on" and just left. After that I realized in retrospect he was always in a hurry to get out of the room and I had to be very diligent to keep his attention if I had more than 1 thing to discuss. So I always felt like I was getting in his way for closing out his appointments for the day and I never left feeling whole. He was also quite condescending whenever I brought up my thoughts and instead of using that as a data point or topic of discussion, he would just tell me I'm unqualified to have an opinion and he's the doctor (and I'm not talking fringe conspiracy stuff, just regular things like 'I think I have tennis elbow')

This doctor is one of the worst I have ever gone to. He said poor things about a peer and told me I…read moredid not need to see a specialist and refused a referral. I have been a runner and cyclist my entire life so having a torn hamstring is not fun. The day before my appointment I got a call from his assistant trying to get me to cancel my appointment- telling me there was nothing he could do - based on my appointment description of possible muscle or tendon tear with a lot of pain. I know when something is a pull vs serious. I had to waste time and money going to him - and he did nothing and then one of his colleagues who he would say did not do the right thing by sending me to a specialist - yesterday I got confirmation that I have a high grade tear that may require surgery - it took me 10 weeks at sutter to get the answer and in that time the pain has not improved at all and if I listened to this doctor I guess I would have just had to deal with the pain with no hope of doing things that I love and that keep me healthy. I have experienced awesome doctors and staff at Sutter (i.e my primary doctor, dermatologist, etc) and a few who put you in an age or gender bucket and don't try to understand you as a person. I also find that some doctors don't want you to research or advocate for yourself at all - which is super disappointing. Sean is not a fan of AI - may feel threatened.

I've been a patient at Diablo family physician over 10 years. Karen and Alicia at the receptionist…read moredesk are kind and very nice. They have been with this office for many years. I appreciate their loyalty and getting to know them over the years. My doctor is Dr. Tanvi Raman. Dr. Raman really cares about her patients. She takes her time to listen and find solutions for your medical concerns. She has great bedside manners. I never feel rushed during my visits. I am very happy with her professional service. P.S. I miss Dr. Dolores Musco. She is an outstanding doctor. It's too bad she left the practice to pursue on the concierge level.

This practice used to be excellent until around 2023. I was a patient for over 15 years and always…read morerecommended Dr. Dolores Musco and Dr. Mark Musco. They were warm, professional, and truly cared for their patients, and the staff felt like part of a small, caring family practice. Unfortunately, as the practice grew, the staff became less friendly and harder to work with. Things declined rapidly once the Muscos left to form their concierge practice (which costs thousands of dollars per year, per patient). Since then, patient care has suffered greatly. Between my wife and I, we've tried several different providers here, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. The new doctors don't listen, and video appointments have been low-quality and unhelpful. The level of care, attentiveness, and professionalism that once defined this practice is simply gone. I finally switched to a physician at Sutter Health, and the difference has been night and day. My new doctor was thorough, actually listened, and helped me get the treatment I needed. I'm so glad I made the switch--my health truly depended on it. EDITED: If you are considering this office, make sure to look at the reviews for the last couple years.

Here's the final version with your suggested addition:…read more Review for Sutter Health & Dr. Steven Sheh, Sutter Palo Alto Medical Foundation: On February 29th of this year, I saw Dr. Steven Sheh at Sutter Palo Alto Medical Foundation. I chose him only because he was the earliest available, being new to the practice and accepting patients--a choice I now regret. Early in the visit, I discussed my current medication and my psychiatrist's recommendation to consider short-term disability to manage my mental health while seeking new employment. Dr. Sheh's response was both shocking and inappropriate: "Are you running out of money?" This question was not only irrelevant but deeply hurtful, reducing my genuine plea for help to a financial motive. I was simply trying to access a service I've paid into my entire adult life but never needed until now. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Sheh's approach was contradictory. He stated, "I don't treat mental illness," which left me confused about how he intended to help. Yet later, he suggested and diagnosed me with depression, even offering to prescribe an SSRI. When I asked, "Aren't you now treating a mental illness?" he had no clear answer but turned into a bright red tomato. His refusal to support my request for short-term disability felt less about medical reasoning and more about a lack of empathy or willingness to help. What made this situation even worse was Sutter Health's failure to address or rectify my concerns. Dr. Bryan Chin followed up, but it was clear that his sole aim was to minimize the severity of my experience--essentially acting as damage control. It felt as if the doctors at Sutter were more interested in protecting each other than providing genuine care. The once-prized Sutter Health has transformed into a profit-driven corporation that prioritizes 5-star ratings over patient well-being. Reflecting on this experience, I realize how fortunate I am to have a loving, supportive partner and financial stability. I can't help but think of what might have happened to someone without that support. In another scenario, this kind of indifference could have led me down a much darker path, potentially resulting in self-harm or worse. I shudder to think of leaving Dr. Sheh and Sutter with my death on their hands--an outcome that feels all too possible for patients in desperate need of compassionate care. If you are seeking genuine, patient-centered care, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Instead of obsessing over 5-star ratings, Sutter Health should refocus on providing authentic, patient-centered care--the stars will follow naturally. Let me know if this version is good to go or if you'd like any more changes. P.S. The patient relations line was a waste of time. They just made a follow up appointment with another doctor who tried to cover for Sheh and made sure I didn't harm myself. His name was Bryan Chin but he didn't care either. Just damage control. At the end of our conversation, he said couldn't see me as a patient because he already had too many patients.

PAMF Danville is completely incompetent-- specifically Dr. Jayan's staff. Jocelyn needs better…read moremanagement skills, and she has no clue what she's doing. Dr Jayan's staff needs better training and it's a disservice to any practice to have an office like this. It takes far too long to get a hold of anyone here, and when you finally do, they make numerous errors. It's unacceptable and Dr. Jayan needs to make sure ALL staff is trained correctly, organized, and responding to patients in a timely manner. I'm really tired of PAMF being unaccountable and not helping patients.
