However Maddy my technician who did my CT scan was the absolute best. I've never had such a professional, kind, supportive, informative lab technician who does CTs before. She even got me warm blankets because I'm always so cold. When it was done she helped me up and told me that my Dr will have the results back STAT. She made me feel comfortable and is phenomenal at her job. I sincerely hope that Maddy will be recognized and get the registration that she deserves. If there were more stars to give I'd give them all. That's how comfortable and kind she made me feel in a not so comfortable time.

Today when I went in for my MRI, the check-in process was very quick and easy, and I was seated…read morecomfortably. However, when the MRI technician came to take me into the room and set up the machine, she seemed very careless and not very attentive. She briefly asked what kind of music I wanted, then closed the door and left. I asked how long the procedure would take, and I was told fifteen minutes. Once it started, the noise from the machine was extremely loud and suddenly caused me to develop a headache. I simply endured it for the full fifteen minutes. When it was finished and another staff member came in to open the machine and help me out, I mentioned what happened. He told me that next time I should ask for earplugs. I responded that I hope there won't be a next time soon, as this is not something I experience regularly. In my opinion, patients should be reminded in advance that the noise can be very loud and that ear protection is available. This discomfort could easily be prevented. I feel the staff need to be a bit more attentive and considerate, rather than just treating it as a routine task and moving on. Patients deserve more care and awareness.

What a terrific price for a review of all your organs, pelvis, and breasts. Shay even does electrocardiography, so I added that and am so happy knowing what's going on in my entire body now! I went in to see why my abdomen was so bloated and check my dense breasts, and came out with so much more info! I am a paraplegic, and there was no way for me to get from my wheelchair onto the MRI table. Fortunately, I had my caregiver with me and he was able to assist me. The MRI was so small that I could not get in without hitting my elbows. There was no instruction and it was almost unbearable. I believe this was a very antiquated MRI machine. I also had a CAT scan and a personal were far more accommodating. I've had many many MRIs, and this is by far the worst experience I've had.

The expert anesthesiologist was Dr Catherine Xia and sedation was administered. The extraordinary compassionate nursing team was Keran L, Jessica T and Katie K. I woke up hearing them talking around me. I was kept for another couple of hours for the cement to solidify. I felt a mild pain on the way home with my husband. The pain gradually went away. I was wearing a back support just because I felt secure. I followed the orders diligently and didn't carry stuff or do any work in the house. On the 23rd, I called our ER doctor-daughter in Rush University Hospital, Chicago, and shared the experience with her. She was surprised, concerned, and sad that she couldn't be with me. I told her that I was in good hands and I had daughters and sons working at Hoag Hospital taking excellent care of me while she was doing the same for patients in the Rush Hospital, where she was working. Talking to our daughter gave me strength to drive to the nearby store to get a few groceries. On the 24th, I removed the plaster and had a shower. Yesterday, on the 25th, our neuroradiologist-son called me and asked how I was doing and whether I had any pain. I thanked him for his call and told him not to worry about me, and I was doing well. Today is Thursday. This event happened exactly one week ago. Dr Mesipam, I was a total stranger to you when you decided to perform the meticulous surgery on me. You explained to me the risks. However, I didn't have any problem in totally trusting you and your dexterous skills, as if you are my own son. Dr Mesipam, I thank you for your noble hard work along with your commitment, in becoming an expert Neurointerventional Radiologist, and performing your expertise on me, curing me.

He knew I was…read moreanxious, so he got me in the room early and wasted no time getting me comfortable and getting the procedure underway. I was able to use foam earplugs, and then Moses gave me headphones and an eye mask. He asked what kind of music I wanted and I said "something happy" and his selection for me was perfect. He constantly spoke to me through the headphones, letting me know what to expect, and how many more minutes, and checking on me. I arrived at around 7:10am and was out the door by 7:50am. I never felt scared in the machine and I felt like Moses truly cared about me. Thank you, Moses, for your kindness.

Fountain Valley is open til 8, which is super convenient for people who can't make it by 5. Since my husband was already pre-registered and he had checked in online, this location was a breeze. Only one lady was working, she was handling the check in desk and performing the X-rays, and she did an amazing job at dealing with it all. My husband was seen within 10 mins of being there, and once his X-rays were done, we received his disc to take to his ortho within about 5 minutes. I will say it was sort of confusing cause there is no sign on the building, or on the directory, but we figured out it is inside of the Urgent Care. They could do a better job with signage for sure. Overall though, no complaints about this location!
