The day before the rental and they don't have a truck to give us.... They offered us $50 buck. A sign of guilt but unhelpful. Maybe they should check out the Seinfeld skit. Worst truck rental EVER! Long winded email just a form document stating blah, blah, blah. Confirmation email from them followed. Day prior to the move I went to their yard to purchase some items and asked if everything was okay with the scheduled pickup of the truck.... Yupp that's right THEY DO NOT HAVE A 1 WAY TRUCK ANYWHERE IN BC!!! I have purchased a home 400 kilometers away and sold my existing home. My closing day is in 2 days and I've hired movers on both ends to load and unload. They gave me a number to call for help... yeah right, help (haha) they repeated the same story NO TRUCK. Because, on the contract it says "there may NOT be a truck you want available that day. But they will call my before 6 as stated on the contract, to give me this information". Do yourself a favor and DON'T work with U-Haul... and tell all your friends...
