The top doors were finally replaced, but the bottom door was shipped damaged, the installer told me. I have since been given 2 different replacement dates, and TWICE they have not come. When I go inside the store to inquire, I feel as though I am being pushed off to someone else, and none of the employees know what's going on can get the job finished for me. They are always very busy eating at their desks. I will never shop at Appliance Discounters, and I have not had any accountability from the sales team. I was/am so disappointed with the Deer Creek store employees. There is no excuse for the lack of communication and effort to right a wrong that the delivery team caused.

At Christmas I called to see if he could send out a repair guy, but he said due to the age of my frig, that I would probably end up getting ripped off. He asked me the specifics of what was wrong, told me what part would potentially fix it, then told me where to go to by the part (Marcone Appliance Parts) and how easy it was to fix = $50 later my frig was working, and all because he's a nice guy. So my trip was not useless, I found what I came for. I had no interaction with an employee, I found what I needed by myself and I used self check-out. Honestly, I'm not sure if they've given up or if someone in Hollywood is secretly filming Mad Max: Hardware Edition inside. That said, if you're willing to dig, you can usually find what you need--though it might take longer than expected. The staff are a mixed bag: some are arguing with each other, others glued to their phones... but when you catch one who's actually on the floor and engaged, they're genuinely willing to help and often go out of their way to assist you. The store itself could use some love--organization isn't its strong suit--but it does carry the essentials, and when they get it right, it works. Just... manage your expectations. Bottom line: you'll get your tools, your paint, your plants--but not without a side of chaos. And maybe, just maybe, a cameo in the next dystopian thriller.

OMG Went to Lemke's thinking the only answer was a pricey washer/dryer combo. When I told John about my dilemma, he said "try this" and tapped a GE top load agitator washer. I could reach the bottom! There were two workers in that area, just sitting at their desk, chatting and laughing and not paying any attention to us. We made eye contact with them a couple of times and they just looked away. I am not gonna go up and beg them to help me because obviously they didn't want anything to do with it and there are other hardware, appliance stores, so close by that we easily went to. Most of the display models were severely damaged and it made us not even want to look any further. If those associates worked on commission. They definitely lost out on at least a $5000 purchase. The store has really gone down and I definitely will not be back if I have questions on products and I actually need help.
