It's k.o. a trek to get down to this part of town (I took the bus. It took 45 minutes), but the guys in this shop are super knowledgeable and helpful...they stayed open thirty minutes later than their advertised hours to help the people who had come in as they were closing, made supply recommendations that saved me a lot of money, etc. I didn't tell him much about what I was doing, so when I came in and told him what a nightmare my job had been he was k.o. upset and said I should have told him why I was there because he would have recommended [this and that product] that would have simplified things. Moral of the story: tell the people exactly what you are setting out to do, because they have a ton of knowledge and--for some reason/in this case--photos of what your options will yield. The guy at the counter asked me how I wound up at their shop and I said I read some good reviews and he said that they try to help everybody as much as possible...he seemed extremely proud that internet reviews were giving them new business, so I feel like I owe it to them to spread the word.

I needed a certain size masonry drill bit that they did not have in their bit bucket, so they gave me a new one (since I was renting, they split the cost of the new bit with me). My only slightly negative point is the price. It was about $30 for the drill and bit, which would be a fair price if I was using the drill all day, but I only drilled 6 holes, which took me all of 5 minutes. Great tool selection, great guys, great place. I'll be back.

If you're a homeowner or DIY person…read more... AVOID THEM!!! They DON'T maintain their eqpt well, aren't knowledgeable about the requirements of the eqpt and eventually I was told in a round about way they "prefer" to rent only to commercial people. I was charged a full day despite the eqpt running on 20 Amp (which they never told me) If I had known that, I would NEVER have rented from them!! So I went few days in advance to discuss in person about the equipment I was interested in renting. The salesperson seemed helpful & sincere. I arrived at the store 630 am as they were setting up for the day and paid my $500 deposit for a $65/day rental. Got home and eventually set up the machine which blew a circuit breaker, then after 3 other attempts on other outlets, it never worked. After speaking by phone they sent a replacement but truth was obviously the eqpt. 2nd time came back and picked it up for return. Was assured I would get full refund. went to store, after a lot of pleasantries and being told they weren't charging me for pickups and deliveries (WHEN DID I AGREE TO PAYBFOR THOSE?!?!?), they informed me I still had to pay even tho their eqpt DOESNT WORK!!!! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES, this is why Home Depot will eventually run everyone else out!!
