Ok, this is the second installation of windows I have completed for our house by Renewal by Anderson. The Sales Representative was excellent, thorough and timely. No complaints. The products speak for themselves- Renewal by Anderson is number 1 in the industry for a reason. Their products are excellent and they cover the sale, installation and quality checks that other companies do not provide. Not to mention they provide an excellent value. In both installations the installers were timely, professional, polite, thorough and clean. They spent the time needed to prepare the area so that there would be no problems. The Installation Project Lead for this installation- Gomey was great, his team worked well together and I we will recommend Anderson whenever the occasion arises. read more

I don't think I will be hiring these people. I scheduled a consultation in order to get an estimate for window installation. I scheduled the consultation in person with a representative who was in the neighborhood. I was given a card stating the specific date and time of the appointment. When the scheduled date and time arrived, no one showed up. I contacted renewal by Anderson and they said they had no record of any scheduled consultation. As I said I was not instilled with much confidence in this company so I will look to another company which will hopefully have better business practices. read more

Worst experience we've ever had with a home project. I will never ever use them again. First off, their sales tactics are quite predatory. They will use the classic high pressure quick decision tactic by showing you vastly different prices with the highest first. Then the price gets considerably lower if you commit right then and there. This should have been the red flag, unfortunately we hadn't been burned like this before to know this was specifically designed to swindle you in a high pressure situation. Absolutely unacceptable tactics. In September 2024 we signed a contract that included among other things 3 doors. Let's note, two of the three of these doors were upsells pitched to us by the company. We paid a premium for the best doors recommended by their own sales person. Never once did they tell us this woukd mean getting parts or service would be impossible. Zero out of the three doors are even right as of January 2026. They've had our money for years now. It's difficult to even get a manager on the phone and when you do, they are pretty powerless. You receive a runaround. They claim there is no way to get replacement parts in a timely manner. We wait weeks for the wrong part to show up just to start the process over again. Rinse and repeat. Please avoid them for your own peace and sanity. Believe me, this is a nightmare. We have zero confidence in the integrity of doors we paid a huge premium on. And they have thus far been incapable of providing any acceptable solutions in 16 months. They have really put us in a very difficult and uncomfortable position. Hopefully this helps save at least one person from future pain due to Renewal By Andersen shortcomings. read more

Over a year ago we contracted with them to replace a single door to outside patio. They demanded payment in advance. Almost $10,000. The problem was in the door locking system but they had to replace the entire door to fix. We reluctantly paid and began our wait for the door. After several months they brought a door that did not match existing door (only reason to use them). Several months later they installed a new door that did match but could not get lock system to function properly. Now, over a year later, there is a paper taped sign on our back door that says DO NOT OPEN DOOR. Numerous calls & threats to take them to court for reimbursement of our money have led nowhere. Guess that will be our only option. THIS IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF COMPANY. Save your time, money and blood pressure. DO NOT USE THEM!! If our door ever functions again I will post here. read more

Haven't gotten through the consultation yet-- they were supposed to come out tonight but I didn't hear anything. 30 minutes after the scheduled time I called and asked if everything was okay, and the woman said it was for next week. I had already confirmed a few days ago with another person that the apt was tonight, so I'm not sure how things got rescheduled. One thing I did notice was that there was a bug in their frontend code leaving the object name for their phone number visible instead of having it say "Contact Us" or something similar. turns out it's a PPC Tracking phone number, meaning that if you click the link and call the number that way, they collect your browser history to see which links you followed to get to that specific page. So if you would rather have your data tracked by whatever 3rd party SEO/ marketing company they use (and eventually have that data sold because thats a big part of marketing's business these days), just manually dial the phone number and call that way. read more

Did not want aluminum or just vinyl after witnessing what the heat in south FL does to this material. The windows quality is much better and thought the service would also be exemplary. How wrong we were. Almost 6 months later still have not had final inspection and getting run around and no response. Front door has not been fixed after they sent employees 4 times. The product is superior but the service inferior and lacking. Price is very expensive. Would not recommend company after all the hype. read more

We recently purchased a three panel bifold Door, which was about $10k more than Pella or other comparable doors. We felt Renewal by Andersen was a better product, but their installation and service caused massive damage. After 10 months of delays, we finally had the door delivered and installed. In two months, our solid wood floors started to buckle and we had a massive leak from under the door. They never sealed the door just set it on the foundation. A $25k door cost us $25k in flooring too: Their managers do not recon d to concern, they are claiming our damage was preexisting, yet I filmed video showing water puddles after wetting the door. I had seemingly good salesmen, however it was all downhill from there. They never came through with the windows they promised. The installation was scheduled 3 months out from August 2024. I paid for the windows 100% in advance. 3 months later, after not hearing from them in 2 1/2 months, I called. They had no record of the order on my first 4 calls. Finally I was told that the manager said they couldn't do the job. Nobody ever communicated it to me. I ordered new sliders in March, guaranteed to be installed prior to hurricane season, it's now November (two hurricanes later) and they haven't been installed. Twice I was given install dates - no one showed up or called. Their first excuse was 'Oops', second excuse was 'moving facilities and we can't find them', 3rd excuse 'oh, they haven't been manufactured yet. They never call you - you have to call them and wait for a call back. I now have interior damage from the 2 hurricanes as the doors were not installed as promised. Good luck finding anyone at Anderson who cares about your problem (even the sales guy who probably already has his commission). Looks like Gary D. had the same issues I did. For anyone considering using this company, do your research. First of all, the windows are completely overpriced. $5000 for one window is highway robbery. Second, they do not use their own installation team, it's all sub contracted out despite what they tell you. The wait time is close to a year. Imagine spending $50K to be told they won't be ready for a year or more! This is high pressure sales and their consultants will price condition you so stand your ground and just say no. All they care about is making money, they don't care about customer service. Do your homework, don't waste your time with these people. I wanted Andersen Windows because they used to be a great company located out of MN. What I got was a mess. The front door frame is crooked so the door doesn't shut properly and is difficult to lock. They have sent subcontractors at least 4-5 times to 'fix' the door, but they failed each time. You can clearly see and feel that the door does not sit right. I have told them to either fix the door or compensate me. No one will call you back. read more

On 6 Jan 2025 I had a sales/design rep come to my house for an estimate on replacing two glass doors. I signed a contract that allows cancellation bylaws midnight 8 January 2025. I decided to cancel on 7 January and emailed the RBA cancellation form to the specified email and called the number on the cancellation form ( 407 8034723) and got the "high volume of calls" recording. Left vm, never got a call back. Just to be sure, I drove to the address given on that form (RBA of FL/JLM Windows LLC 997 W. Kennedy Blvd suite A1, Orlando FL. The suite was vacant and I did not find the business at any other address in that complex. Next, I drive to the address that showed up on my credit card for the deposit (5606 Carder Rd, Orlando). That address does not exist at all. I asked someone at 5600 Carder Rd for help, and he directed me to 5611 Carder Rd, where I found a RBA FL logo on the door of an accounting form. I rang, and a lady answered and said they no longer work with RBA. She said she thought they were on Keller Rd. I drove around and found an RBA sign at 30 S. Keller Rd. I rang the bell there, no one answered. Finally, an employee showed up and found someone to help me make sure I was delivering the cancellation to the right address. She said yes and that she email me a confirmation of cancellation. I insisted that she sign my form to confirm delivery, which she did. As of today, 7 Jan, I've not received this confirmation. I called the salesman for help and told him I want written confirmation before the 8 Jan deadline, and how I'm concerned about being scammed due to lack of response from customer service and non-existent business addresses. He said he'd try to help, but nothing yet. I say stay away from this company. Sales people are great, of course, but it seems they don't exist once they have your money. Oct 30th. Today is the second install date when the installers did not show up. Oct. 25th was the first date and around 4:30, I was told there was a family emergency that prevented the installers from making the appointment. Okay. Today, the installers did not show up again. Nor did they call to let me know they were not coming. After calls to service, and then my salesman Joe, trying to find out a status, I got a call from Josh, apparently higher up in the organization. He explains that one of the windows (its a three-window unit) for my office can't be located. The install team has been looking in the wrong warehouse (they think). As of this writing, they have not located this high-priced custom window. What, no tracking system? Wasted my day, twice now. Oct 31st. I got a call around 9am saying they had found the window and were on their way. Yippee! Should be here about noon. At 2PM they had not arrived. No call, nothing. I tried all afternoon to reach Josh or Joe or anyone at the service number...no one picked up. Three days wasted. A large bathroom window and a complete front entryway were installed on Oct. 17th. The next-day "signature Service" inspection revealed that the newly installed bathroom window was cracked so we need to reorder it. Oh great, three more months if I'm lucky. The front door was not installed level and needs adjustment. I know I paid extra for quality and the "white glove" service. So far, I've seen neither. My zip code is 32960. Would someone at RbA with some kind of authority please look into this and contact me soon? Nov 5th. Called Josh and he tells me, after talking to his boss, we should just reorder the missing window. Three to four weeks more waiting (if I'm lucky). I wonder how these folks can still be in business with this kind of performance. Why bother having a facility to make appointments via the website and send a confirmation if they're not going to show up? Their system REQUIRES that you confirm by phone at your inconvenience, even though the appointment was made only two days in advance. Did they think I would forget? Then, when against my better judgment I call to "confirm", I'm on automated hold for seven minutes before someone answers. By that time, I'm fit to be tied, so I told them I didn't appreciate the inconvenience and hung up on them. I didn't identify myself, but predictably, they didn't show up at the scheduled time. I came here to vent, but now that I've read some other reviews, I'll be looking elsewhere for windows and doors. I scheduled a meeting with Renewal by Andersen to get an estimate on sliding glass door replacement, 4 panel for Wednesday, Oct. 30. The representative was a bit late, but he was professional and friendly, however, the presentation he provided offered me two options only, one that would cost $20K and the second (folding glass sliding doors) for $30K. These were the ONLY options presented to me. I asked him to email the information and let me think about it. Never got it the email and the very next day got a message basically asking why I didn't sign a contract the day of the presentation - which is ludicrous. I wonder if it had anything to do with the campaign signs in my yard. Just seems really odd - and unprofessional - to not provide the information requested or other options. The salesman came out and showed me the window package and told me that they would include Armor Screen for hurricane protection, and it would be a track installation for all openings. I made it clear that I wanted the slider installation as it is currently. The salesman NEVER told me that the way was installed could not be done, if I had been told this I never would have gone ahead with the purchase. After I went ahead with the purchase a different man came out to do measure and he also never told me anything about installation. A long list of 'issues' with my window order. Measurements by 'supervisor' was off by at least 1 inch, took MONTHS for windows to arrive. Installers had problems with installation of one of the windows because it was too small for opening. Summary: 2 windows OK, 1 window LESS THAN I EXPECTED in fit. Well, let's say that the quality of the product is great. I love my new windows that were installed. However, don't expect good communication (if ANY communication), punctuality, timely completion, or follow-up. We've been waiting on replacement of trim that was broken on initial install for about a year. ONE YEAR to finish a piece of trim. So, let me get this straight.....you spend all this money on advertising and paying people to go door to door, but then don't show up for appointments? In a world where maybe 1 in 10 people even answer the door after seeing a solicitor you would think that getting someone to agree to a quote would be extremely manageable, which is not the case for Renewal By Andersen. We had someone stop by, we agreed to an appointment to take a look at the work we wanted done (set for 5/17), had someone call to confirm the appointment the evening of 5/16 and then nobody ever showed or followed up since. Upon seeing these reviews, it seems as though they did us a favor. It does still blow my mind that these companies spend all this money on outside labor and advertising instead of addressing the bigger issues at the root of their problems. I signed the contract with Renewal by Andersen on 9/1/2022 and was given a 16-24 week start time with the project expected to be completed within 3-5 days. Installation was scheduled for 3/8/2023, had to make the installation crew remove 3 windows as they were not being installed with water proofing and had to request adjustments for a clearly out of level window. Request to properly reinstall window(s) was made on both installation days by the same crew. Had to follow up regarding stucco repairs on 3/14/2023 via email after voice mails were ignored. The company has consistently been non-responsive and it is extremely rare to get anyone to answer the phone regardless of the time you attempt to call them. Andersen's stucco crew ended up scratching over half of the windows damaging over half of the frames and also threw their trash in the tall grass instead of proper disposal. Reported the issue to Andersen and Stucco crew, also reported that one of the screens was damaged by the install crew as the frame was bent from being left in the box on the trailer under the old window debris. Andersen was to come 4/13/2023 to attempt to repair scratches, only to provide the missing screen caps for the frames. Andersen returned 5/4/2023 to attempt to repair scratches, but tech mentioned it could not be repaired via touchup paint. Andersen order frames and attempted to start install of 4 out of 7 windows 9/2023 after reordering frames, was still missing one window frame. Had to insist on new inspection as frames were remove/reinstall and required by Marion County. 2/2/2023 Crew arrived with no permit (after being told they had it by scheduler), still missing screen (was told if they had it, it would be delivered 2/15/2023 and still don't have it). 2/8/2023 emailed a copy of permit, stucco repairs 2/22/2022 and told final inspection was set for 2/26/224. Called Marion County Permit office 2/26/2024 to discover that no final inspection had been scheduled. Terry the Operational Manager offer to take off roughly $4,000 or 25% of the total cost after knowing that 6 of of the 7 windows are either damaged or installed improperly. read more

They hired a caucasian male that closely used the "N" word, brought a fire arm to work, made everyone uneasy WHILE working, and even looked me in the face saying "f*ck you bro". Not only it took two weeks for ANYTHING to be done. I told them how it made me feel, nothing. On top of owing me back pay for 9 checks that was "handled" a month prior (it wasn't). BUT as soon as I tell them I'm not trying to canvass in the rain after they sent me to drive the team (me and one other person) to Jacksonville FL IN THE RAIN. Telling me to turn around after being only 30 minutes outside of that city, JUST. to canvass in Central FL for the remainder of the day. Between Christian being off putting and fake to begin with, and Joel's questionable leadership idk what's stranger. I need a project done and made an appointment for someone to come out and give me a quote. Since many of my neighbors have had this done, I am aware it's a simple job for a competent window company. I gave a complete description when I made the appointment. I received 2 calls before the appointment. During the first call, I was told that they thought it was just a single window replacement and therefore I needed to send pictures before they would even schedule an appointment. Did they not read my description? Why ask for it, if you're not going to read it? I cancelled the appointment and told the representative that I am not interested in doing business with a company that asks questions and then is not really interested in the answers.
