First, let me say that I am extremely fussy as to who we hire to do repairs to our home. Realizing that a new roof is expensive and important to the integrity of our home, I heavily vetted six roofers including BFARR Roofing. I found BFARR on the GAF web site as one of their Certified Contractors with GAF Master Elite status, and President's Club Awards. I called BFARR and they responded immediately. Brian Douek was on time, professional, and really knew his stuff. He took pictures via drone and took a look in the attic. It was refreshing to find someone so thorough. And, he made it clear that he really wanted our business. Our two story home has many peaks and angles. We thought the job would take at least a week and were preparing ourselves for the noise and intrusion. The job only took two days! What a relief! Before we knew it, the gutters, gutter guards, and downspouts were done, too. After the install we had a few questions and Brian was here immediately to answer them. The roofing company, BFarr Contracting in Winter Park, is a wonderful company to deal with. Every employee I encountered was kind, courteous, and professional. Construction manager Brian San Pedro did the estimate, and he was very clear and explanatory about everything from dumpster delivery to final clean up. Brian made it easy and truly cared about my satisfaction. There was some unseen rotted wood to be replaced, which was not included in the original estimate. But the company gave a fair price. AND the work was done in a very timely way thanks to Blake the field super! The office staff is super nice. Whenever I called for paperwork, it was sent to me within the hour. This company is First Rate! They should allow for at least a 10 star rating in their case because they deserve it. They are knowledgeable, professional, and really care about their customers. I had a roof installed back in 2018 as a result of damage due to Hurricane Irma. My insurance company chose Sun Coast Roofing and Solar to handle the roof replacement. After about 2 years, I began to notice ripples in the shingles from the peak to the drip edge over the entire roof. I called the contractor and they did absolutely nothing to take care of the issue, even though it was as a result of a defective product. My insurance company was involved as was the shingle manufacturer in trying to determine what action was needed. One delay after another. When BFARR and their project manager, Brian San Pedro got involved. they were able to finally make things happen. Within weeks of their involvement, the manufacturer finally agreed to warranty their product and I am finally able to put this nightmare behind me thanks to BFARR and Brian. Brian is extremely knowledgeable, sincere, and cares about the customer. He was at my residence, along with his crew from start to finish, making sure that everything was perfect. They were able to complete this replacement in less than 2 days, which amazed me. Just as a side note, even the city inspector who came out to sign off on the dry in, being impressed with what he saw, questioned Brian as to hoping BFARR could begin to do more contracting projects in the South Daytona City limits. This speaks Volumes!!!. They are a First Rate company, that care not only about the first rate quality of their work, but also their customers.
