He had one of his guys here the next day and they climbed on the roof, showed me photos of the damage, and a couple of other things our roofer in 2010 never took care of. Jacob was fair with his pricing and promised to have someone out the following day once the rain had stopped. The next morning his crew showed up right on time and got to work. Four hours later my roof was fixed and in better condition than it was previously. All in all very easy experience and Jacob's workers are pleasant. They also left no mess! Highly recommend Jacob and his team to take care of your roofing needs (they do gutters, too!).

Long Island Home inspection was recommended to me and I have to say, I do not regret a second…read more Eric was as friendly as it comes on the phone - we did set a day / time and he and a helper (I forgot the name off) were there on-time and very punctual. When I met him, I felt the same friendliness with an immediate like - the process of acquiring a home can be nerve wracking and Eric's calm is a huge help. He was thorough, I had 1,000 questions and running after him like a puppy but he explained everything, showed me the problems, gave me tips and advices. They went through the whole home, took pictures, tested everything (run the dishwashers, laundry and so on) and documented as it goes. By the end of the inspection, they printed all document on the spot - I got a binder (and a CD with all documents in) and Eric went through the report page by page and all the details again explaining every aspects. He gave me their card and we communicated by Email after the inspection (was very helpful in providing references). Overall, they saved me a few 1,000$ as I required to have a fix for the major items. It was a great experience and I cannot imagine a better one - a great set of great guys, very professional, punctual, thorough, polite, friendly and inspiring confidence as well as promoting calm and re-assurance (which for anxious people like me, is a must). I might as well have had the kid next door do the inspection. Relying on this company's report cost me tens of thousands of dollars after purchasing my home. I could not insure the house without replacing the roof, which they estimated to be 10-15 years. They listed two fireplaces/stoves as wood-burning despite there being obvious gas pipes connected to the units. Therefore, they did not inspect them, and one of them had a defective on/off knob. They only listed the existence of a sliding glass door in the sunroom and omitted that it was not functional and had a 2-inch gap between the doors. The rest of the report was sloppy and several inaccuracies. Fred Hagemeyer, one of the owners, made excuses for these errors, claimed the report contained harmless "misstatements", and blamed everyone else for their assessments. However, in our first conversation, he offered to refund the cost of the report. In our final conversation, we negotiated a money amount to help offset my costs resulting from his errors. I am still waiting.
