I've been coming to Renew Spa for a couple years now, and I love it. I get my waxes done by Elizabeth and she's the best I feel so comfortable around her and with out a doubt she makes the experience so amazing. I've also had more than a few massages from a few of the therapists there and they as well were just as great and on the very rare occasion that any of my massages were not 100% they always make it a point to make my next experience worth it. Ok, so this was first time going here and I made an appointment for couples massage. I've been to other masseuse and thought they were great until I came here, amazing results of relaxation and all above after. I have chronic illness So I tend to get really sore and unbearable body pain, I almost was ready to decide on pain meds to help but I am extremely happy I came here first instead, which I will be coming more often in the future when needed. Spectacular place for a massage! I've only tried two other treatments there, and I wasn't thrilled with the results. However, if you need a good massage, I highly recommend this place! Just make sure to specify what kind of pressure you prefer when you book your massage. So, I don't recommend booking online, unless you know the name of the massage therapist available. So I am horrible with names so I will have to call and figure out who my masseuse was. But she was amazing! I tried them out because they had a yelp deal for a free added aromatherapy. I did a 60 minute organic massage with coconut oil and added orange oil for my aromatherapy. It was so amazing and relaxing!!!! She put orange oil on my feet so I could smell it even after I left. The coconut oil felt amazing and I almost fell asleep during my session. It was my first time ever getting a massage so I wasn't sure what to expect. She broke a lot of knots up in my lower back and shoulders. I drank tons of water afterwards and took a epsom salt bath to help with soreness and immediately passed out afterwards because I was so relaxed from how great my massage was! Beautiful, calm environment. I just had another amazing massage from Jaclyn. She did a great job finding the knots in my back and working them out. She was really responsive to pressure requests and to where I wanted her to focus her time. She made sure I was happy with my massage and that I felt much better after it. I've been getting therapeutic massages my whole life, My work is physical and a bit stressful and regular massages are one of the ways that I take care of myself. Lately, I've had more problems with my back and I'm so excited to have discovered Renew. ALL of the therapists there are skilled (really!) with an array of different modalities and an understanding of how the body works. The fact that the place is beautifully appointed, calming and smells like lavender heaven is just a plus. I've had massages from 7 different therapists and as a person who considers herself pretty picky when it comes to massage, I have to say that they've all been experienced and great. I've never been drawn to the "spa experience" for massage as I always just thought it was a lot of fluff... Renew Float Spa has all that great "fluff" with professional, experienced practitioners truly interested and able to help. Where else can you get a fantastic massage on a Sunday? I had my first visit to Renew Float Spa this week and I have to say I was very skeptical and a little nervous about the whole thing, but came out loving it. I was greeted by the owner who was friendly and professional. It was beautifully designed with simple lavender art, and soothing colors. I was told about the float spa as a possible help for chronic headaches I have been experiencing for several months. I am a complete germ-a-phobe( as a nurse working in a hospital environment with lots of nasty germs) so it was a tough sell to float in a bathtub full of salt water, so I quizzed the staff on cleaning procedures before booking. They very graciously explained the micron filtration and osmosis, as well as UV treatment of the water between clients. They also explained that not a lot of bacteria can live in such a high salt content of water. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the float room and the tank in which you float. You also have to shower before you get in. The shower is in the private room where the float tank is housed, and is stocked with lovely lavender soaps and shampoos to use. The experience of the float took a while to settle into, but I was amazed that you are COMPLETELY buoyant while in the 12 inches of water. Salt water is also researched to detoxify the body. No pressure points, just complete weightlessness. You are in a complete sensory deprivation experience. No light, no sound.... It took me about 15 minutes to relax, but then I started deep breathing, dozing in and out of sleep, and found some really great rest. In our busy, stressful, plugged in society this was just what the doctor ordered. I had no headache while in the tank or for about an hour after the float + massage I did following the float. I will definitely try this again. It was a unique experience and I have to say quite a reasonable price at $29/hour for the first timer, and extra discount on Monday morning. There are 60-90minute float time available. The massage I had was an excellent massage as well. My favorite part was that the masseuse did not try to engage me in small talk after just coming out of the very relaxed float. I was completely relaxed and left feeling rested and refreshed!! I will definitely try this again and would suggest it to anyone with chronic pain or just needing a good relaxation!! read more

They were running 15 minutes behind which is fine, I completely understand running behind happens however the facial felt rushed and not very thorough. I had a float experience last night and it was awesome. This is a really clean and attractive place, comfortable and safe, with a tranquil atmosphere. The float itself is wonderful. You can keep the door closed and lie in the dark and quiet enclosure, floating on warm Epsom-salty water. Near the end of the hour, I needed some fresh air, and just popped my head out the door for a moment. I went through several internal states, just moving my legs and arms without resistance felt good. The water holds you up gently. I became very still in my mind at one point and that was restful and meditative. It's called sensory-deprivation, but actually the senses just quiet down and tune in to more subtle distinctions, and even blend in together. I highly recommend a float for relaxation, physical, mental, or emotional soothing, for quieting the mind and body, for a nurturing and expansive experience, for resting the eyes. The salts make my skin smooth and softer, and my hair softer and thicker. It's good for plants and healing for skin, and hair too! read more

I have visited this business with a tip from my mother that it was a good way to get away from the stress filled world that I live in due to sports and school. I went into the floatation spa with an open mind hoping that it would relieve some of the stress of everyday life and came away happily surprised with how relaxing it really was. Not only was I able to focus on my thoughts but as an athlete with a very rigorous schedule I was walked away with a feeling of great relief like I had taken a week off of beating up my body. At first I was a little nervous with how long the spa was(1 hour) but like other people I have talked to once I let myself relax the hour was up before I new it. I would defiantly recommend the chamber to anyone who is looking to get away from there stressful life for an hour and really enjoy some peace to be able to gather your thoughts on any pressing issue you may have in your life.
