My brother discovered Frank's Pizza after one of his coworkers recommended it. Ever since then,…read morehe's become a regular customer because of the good vibes, cheap eats, and drinks. He kept saying that he wanted me to try the pizza because he thought I'd like it. He said it reminded him of Fox's Pizza in Beverly, which is what we grew up on. Honestly, Frank's is somewhere I would've never gone without my brother's prompting. I don't frequent the area and rarely go to dive bars, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bar was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It's no frills for sure, but it's a bare-bones environment in the best way. My brother and a friend of ours were already there when I arrived. They'd already started a tab so, I just went to the bar and ordered. It was early (noon) so I didn't order alcohol. I only ordered Pepsi, but my brother and friend ordered drinks. They liked them and said they only cost $3.50. We ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza which arrived fairly quickly. it was piping hot too!! It was so hot that the cheese would just slide off the cracker-thin crust. The pizza was excellent though. My sister thought the cheese was too thick, but, I liked it. I thought it was fantastic. The meats were high quality and the sauce was tasty. Our friend liked it as well. The four of us ate the entire pizza. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, so the bar wasn't packed. There were a handful of regulars at the bar and a couple of people playing the slot machines. There was a baseball game playing on the TV, so it was fairly quiet. During peak hours I'd imagine that it gets pretty packed. The bartender and our server were cool, so I have no complaints about the service. I wouldn't say that Frank's pizza tastes like Fox's in Beverly, but I do understand why my bro made that comparison. They're both good for different reasons. I'd probably visit Frank's again in the future if given the choice.

Birthday gathering! No better place for a group celebration. From cozy booths to private rooms,…read morethey don't blink. They will take care of the group. The food is consistent and you will find your favorite somewhere on the menu. Everyone in our party of nine had a great meal and good fellowship. Aurelio's is all about family gatherings and personal diners having a good time with great food. Once I awhile we must make the pilgrimage to Homewood for pizza to the birthplace of great pizza.

5 stars for food 4 stars for paying the bill…read more This is such a cute location / looks like an old lodge. Lots of wood and such an interesting layout. When you arrive there is a large seating area to the left, includes lots of larger tables for bigger groups. Then if you wind your way into the main area, there are tables that face outward on the first floor, a middle section with seating and then a balcony area. Really interesting restaurant that was fun to walk around. Our server was great - we had a large party and orders were taken and we didn't wait too long for food to start arriving. On recommendation we ordered the stuffed pizza - which is like a calzone. Lots of cheese, toppings, great crust and delicious red sauce on top! Not quite a deep dish but oh so delicious. We also ordered the Caesar salad, which was shareable and the garlic sticks! Food was hot, fresh and I can't wait to go back for the pizza! Only downside was we had to pay by table and all the drinks ended up on my check, which added a few hundred dollars. Overall pizza was amazing and I'll be back!
