Jordan discovered that there was some corrosion due to a little fluid getting inside a port. (Note to self: no more multitasking while cooking lol). He cleaned it, dried it, and put it under a microscope. He discovered a little was still there, and he put it through the process again. It was totally a miracle!!! I had tears of joy when picking it up...it is only 2 years old. He really went way above and beyond to rescue my MacBook Pro!!! I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY WITH SUCH EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I had saved some to usb but mostly not. Geeks saved everything! I've had these since 2013 and 2016 so you can imagine all the memories saved in that amount of time. One had a bad cpu and motherboard that had overheated. They saved the info on that one and moved it to the older computer which needed a new hard drive but was otherwise still very usable. Both are Acer Predators and at the time I bought them were top of the line. The repaired computer is so fast now. I'm so glad to have it back with all of my old data intact. Relieved. Geeks did all of this in one day! Any of my future repairs will go straight to them. They have a vast amount of knowledge and do so much more than simple but critical repairs. I also took them a new laptop that I wanted set up. It's a dream to use with no bloatware. This was same day service. These folks are very honest, keep you informed as the work is being done and there is no sticker shock at the end. Geeks rule!!
