I arrived with an absolute emergency of a mess, a cut off all your hair, how did I get here, MESS. Major chemical/product damage, it was not viable. I was fully resigned to a short bob for a complete restart, but she was able to use her skill to come up with what she called a "custom haircut" and that's exactly what it was. Where the texture was once straw/sandpaper, is now silk. I cannot recommend Susan enough! If she can make sunshine come out of THIS experience, I can only imagine what she is capable of working with other clients. It was very kind of all the ladies in the salon to come and give their recommendations as well, I really felt like everyone came together and saved what they could of my hair! It feels amazing today and I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you Susan, you are a gem and I will recommend you to all those who are looking for an exceptional hair artist. I'll see you next time!!

They all gave nice haircuts, but none of them understood my hair. I have naturally wavy Asian hair, thick, textured, and not the kind you can cut like fine hair. They'd flatten the heck out of my hair and cut it. My hair would look good for one day and then never look the same again. Then I found Tin after seeing a few photos of Asian girls who got their hair cut by him, and I am SO glad I did. He genuinely understands my hair type. He doesn't just give a standard cut--he tweaks the shape, layers, and texture so it works for my hair and for my everyday styling. I learned about Inka from a friend after complementing her haircut. So happy I booked for myself!…read moreInka has been working wonders with my wonky, unruly, unevenly-greying middle aged hair for the past two years. She's phenomenal! There's no hair problem too crazy for her to solve. She is incredibly skilled at working with your unique hair texture and facial features to give you a high-style, low-maintenance cut that works with you, not against. She enhanced the slight waviness that I've always fought, and created depth and texture I never thought possible. Now my hair falls perfectly regardless of whether I let it airdry into natural waves, or blowdry it into perfect smoothness. The cut works flawlessly for both. And now she's introduced me to a beautiful organic semipermanent coloring option that restores shine and tone to my fading chestnut hair and turns my unruly greys into shimmering highlights that grow out without harsh telltale coloring lines. It's magical! And makes me feel ten years younger when I see my reflection, so that's a bonus! Inka's cuts also last weeks/months longer than anything I've experienced. I've gone four or more months between maintenance cuts and there's been no noticeable difference. The layers grow out perfectly. And maybe the biggest selling point...Inka is a beautiful soul and radiates warmth and positivity. She's a joy to be around and getting to spend an hour or two in her chair is such a treat!
