Have played here a number of times in support of an annual fundraiser for the Summit School in Edgewater. Each hole is a replica of a hole at well known golf courses (Sawgrass, Cherry Hills, Augusta National, etc.). They do a great job of taking each one of the holes together to make a great experience. I have typically been there in October and the course has been consistently in great condition. The greens are very fast and challenging. Probably one of the more difficult courses I have played. The staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. I always look forward to my opportunities to play here. read more

Cool concept but I was expecting better quality for the cost. The course was an OK shape and the staff was very nice, but some of the facilities were not great as you can see by the restroom located in the center near the food/drink stand. I'm glad I played but it's unlikely I'll return. One and done. read more

The starter judge was a jerk. 3 hours and 45 minutes. I'll be out there watching. Then he was on the first 3 holes. In addition, they were cutting on every single hole, waiting and watching. Course: I can't say I've played of the original but it's a replica as good as it's going to get in Maryland. You can't replicate conditions (eg Augusta National), treelines, elevation and other details but who cares, it's still a great experience! Course condition: I played in mid-November and the course was in great condition. Greens were lightening fast and I three putted way too many times. Walkable: There are three long ass walks between holes otherwise it's walkable if they allow it. Staff: Fantastic service. Highly recommend to try at least once but if not more. read more

At $100 a round, it's definitely pricey but where else will you get to play copies of the island green of TPC Sawgrass #17 or the trio of holes that make up Augusta National's Amen Corner without either paying nearly $800 for the former or hoping for the biggest miracle in the case of the latter? This is a difficult course as it takes some of the hardest holes played by professionals from around the world and lumps them into a par 72 course. Granted, I may have also been rusty from not practicing all week and also being sleep deprived from a busy week, but I definitely shot 10 strokes higher than my normal score. It definitely pays to study each hole ahead of time to make the right decision. Case in point - my drive for hole 12, the replica of Carnoustie #6 landed in a blind pot bunker in the middle of the fairway. Course condition was ok - definitely had some rough patches along the course and greens had lots of marks on them. The course doesn't drain well so during rainy season, it's going to be cart path only. Also, they allow memberships here and unfortunately due to complaints by members teeing off after me, I was unable to film the course but the staff ended up being apologetic after the round especially because I had played a fast enough pace in which filming wouldn't be a problem. So, I unfortunately only have a few photos of the course instead to share. Have a few bucks on hand for tips as they wipe down your clubs at the end of the round. read more

The staff are wonderful!! Everyone I encountered was friendly and extremely helpful. The course and pace of play could be better. All the sand traps were terrible. 90% of the traps were rocks and mud. A group of 5 held up 6 groups behind them, and no ranger was in sight. They have gps on the carts, so we thought they could see how many groups were backed up. But it kept getting slower and slower. My cart died between hole 16 and 17. We sent a message on the cart for a ride in or a new cart and no one was available to help. Luckily, I was in a group of 3 and I was able to get a ride into the clubhouse, and I didn't have to walk back. Overall I like playing there, but my last experience doesn't give me the incentive to make the drive out to the course. read more

Came here to check it out as a venue for our upcoming ceremony/ wedding and were really impressed with the customer service. We are waiting on some quotes, but Megan who helped us was really informative and patient with our request. We came here because our wedding coordinator has had with them and raved about the food and customer service. Today, we only got a glimpse, but so far, so great! We also ordered some food as we waited. The baked buffalo chicken strip dish, crab balls, jumbo wings and grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and huge!! We were blown away by the portion sizes and price. The crab balls were probably my favorite, real Maryland crab and awesome flavor. The baked chicken fries was enough for 4 people to share, with some left. I was intimidated by it and that's unusual for me. Leave your diet conscious mind at the door. We really liked Renditions and hope to do business with them! read more

3 stars at best. Got here and automatically judged at check in, like we couldn't pay to play this course. We walk out to the golf cart to be the only cart without ice or a cooler, on top of the fees don't forgot to pay for your warm up balls. Playing through the course was hit or miss, some holes were groomed better than others. Course is really for the hype. The Marshall followed us the entire way, had to bring a second Marshall out there too. Kept telling us that we're playing slow and basically we suck. As a group of 4, we played too slow for a group of 2 behind us. On top of that, "Members" we're definitely treated better at those course. Only recommend this course unless you are a certain color or a member. Btw only got a +2 Marshall...won't be back. read more

Golf course is cool but restaurant is not good. Especially not for a holiday. Went for Mother's Day brunch. Buffet food was COLD and you could tell it was straight from the freezer even if it was "warmed up." Only thing that was good was the omelette station because it was made to order. Pretty cool golf course with holes from around the world. Hot Dog at the clubhouse was really good...Is it simple? absolutely....But this hot dog/bun combo was on point and they had ketchup/mustard/relish/onion...Above standard in my opinion! lol They also had a 6 pack special that caught my attention and ended up in the cart. It is a little pricey compared to my usual spot, but I had a nice time on the course, drinks were cold and course was entertaining. Transfusions at the bar were really good as well! read more

This was my second time playing this course. Its claim to fame is that it is 18 holes of some of the most famous holes on the PGA tour. My favorites are the 3 holes of Augusta's Amen Alley and Sawgrass 17th island par 3. It's a well maintained course with GPS carts. They have a snack hut located between holes 5, 12 & 15. All the carts are cleaned and the club house is open. I recommend this course. read more

Really enjoyed playing here and they do a great job of mimicking other courses and certain holes. That is not an easy task to have so many similarities to holes around the world on one course. Will definitely come back here and play again. Oh, and they make a great transfusion as well. read more

I am a golf fan. I like certain architects more than others (Love A.W. Tillinghast : "burn in hell" Donald Ross (false fronts) more than others. As a recent MDer I have played only the great refurbish of The Preserve at Eisenhower, a real charmer. I have been warned about the condition at Renditions from locals but HEY, we are playing in March!! This was a fun fun round. Most of the holes were just 'ordinaire', forgiving off the tee and some minor 'non local' characteristics (e.g. pot bunker) to simulate a great hole ... Until you arrive at the winged foot, Carnoustie, and Shinnicock , saw grass holes. Then the look from the tee changed and the strategy changes BECAUSE of the design. All the holes were very fun. My fav of course was the 17th (11th at Winged Foot west, Tillinghast,) This is the shortest par 5 (it's actually a par 3 but HARD) in the world according to my WF caddie. I'm sure you read about Billy Casper laying up all four rounds in the 1959 US Open to get up and down for par each day and winning by one stroke. |||A pro laying up on a par 3 in the US Open!!!!!|||. As with the real sawgrass hole , the greens are way smaller than the real ones (and the pressure is less, though I did win my $1 match). The real WF hole is more domed and bigger but HARD. Glad for my bogey out of the left bunker at renditions. Fun outline of the history of the holes at the tee boxes. Now the knocks ... The starter was overwhelmed on our Saturday visit ... he sent out a single on a crowded weekend and a threesome! Totally unprofessional. It delays play because that 5some ain't beating a 3some and the single will screw it all if they choose to play through . In a hurry? Play 9. But the starter clearly lost his mind. Walking far isn't a problem especially on a flat course like this. What is unwalkable (if you wanna keep up with the group in front) are the distances between some greens to tees. We all play better walking but don't plan on it here without an accommodating cart partner. Fun day, not too too costly and I'll return in late spring again. read more

I like this course, it's in great shape and very challenging. The staff was nice and helpful. The one complaint that I have, is golfers blasting music from their golf carts, the club should do a better job of policing that. They should have a rule to use ear buds or turn the speakers to a low volume. read more

Novelty course at best. The fairways were dead each time I've played and the course just isn't all that special in my opinion. Ok they need to start doing something with the tee boxes, most of them look all burnt up or the grass is dead. A few of the fairways were like a sponge I guess they over watered them one of the holes the tractor sank in the side of the hill on one of them. Well it was my birthday n I did my research to find a decent course in Southern Maryland in late December to play ! I chose wrong ... I got there early n used the bag drop . Guy who seemed to be starter/ bag drop paid me no mind as he lined carts up. My girlfriend n I parked in the lot and finished our breakfast as we watched this guy park a cart by my clubs but never touched them. We went in and paid ($110). Guy was nice but charged cart fee for my gf to ride even though they were not busy and it was cart path only. As we went out to bag drop , the cart guy was on the range talking to some other guy so I decided to load my clubs on the cart parked next to my clubs. All loaded n settled in , the guy finally comes over and said ' why are u in that cart?' Anyway , needless to say it wasn't a great welcome. Now to the course. Yes it was wet which I u/s and oh well, but overall I wasn't very impressed. Fairways were punched and you could tell the greens were still healing from being punched. The idea of replica holes was great but honestly didn't do much for me with the exception of Amen Corner. I thought the course would have more character but I've seen quite a few courses with much more character. I liked that there were very few houses on the course n enjoyed reading the plaques at each hole but honestly I would say you are not missing much if you don't play this course and it certainly wasn't worth playing for $110. Perhaps the conditions and views are better a different time of year. read more

A fun experience for sure. Greens were in good shape for it being late in the year. Fairways were soupy but very playable after some snow melted away. Cool idea for a golf course. They aren't perfect renditions of each hole but you shouldn't expect that. Just a fun experience that can get tough at times. Favorites are Amen Corner, 17 at TPC Sawgrass, and the hole from Merion. They had a temporary green on 3 and didn't mention it to us which was just terrible. Could've either discounted the round by a bit or threw in range balls, or a small voucher for the next round. Any of the above would've made it fine by me. Not the most walkable course as there are three extremely long transfers, but we were still able to play in 4.5 hours. A place I would play once every two or three years for sure. read more

I was amped up to play this course, I thought that it would be the best of the best. With high expectations walking into the pro shop, they were shot down immediately with the bad customer service. Being our first time here we expected a cheery hello and some story about the course. None of that at all, a sour puss face with no interest stared at us, he misinformed us that the range balls were not free and they were. He sold us this crappy brochure on the course for $8 and the same information was on the screen in the cart. He could not answer any questions we had and we wondered if he actually worked there. The starter was great, he explained about the course and even gave some tips. The first 5 holes were nothing special and were brown and not in good shape. The Augusta holes were great and challenging and the 13th as well. Other than that we did not experience the grand slam of golf and left at hole 15. All in all it was ok, but we will not be back. read more

I play this course 2-3 times a year because i feel its overpriced for the conditions and layout. The staff are always friendly but there are comparable courses In the area that don't over charge. It's promoted as a replica course which is cool. It's right off central ave which is directly outside the city. It's a open course not much degree of difficulty and usually kept in good condition. Due to recent heat like most courses there are a few areas that need repair but that is common. read more

I'll start off saying that this used to be one of my favorite courses to play in the Baltimore/Annapolis area...wow how far has it fallen! My experience yesterday was one of the worst at any golf course. 1. Pro Shop staff were unfriendly and standoffish 2. The course condition was horrific...the words to describe it would be "a goat track". Huge dirt spots everywhere, greens were beat up, crab grass on fringes, etc. We paid $60 a person to play should have been $20...they should be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed to be promoting this course as a premium experience. 3. Hottest day of the year and all the water coolers on the course were empty! Are you freaking serious? 4. Cart path only on a extremely hot day. 5. Pace of play was slow...and no rangers to help move things along. The only positive were the kids working the bag check. They hustled and were very friendly & helpful. read more

For $93 not including range balls is ridiculous. Greens and collars were chewed up like a dick through a meat grinder. I get charging a bit more for lost revenue do to the pandemic but sheeeeett. The best part of the day was when the broad working the inside screamed I got drinks to go while choking on the smoke from her menthol cigarette. So f'ing hot! It's a $50 track at best, stop taking advantage of the fact AA county is limited in options. read more

Renditions is one of those courses you have to try, but you probably won't be a regular here. For one, the course is a bit tricky because it is just replicas of "famous" holes from around the globe. Because of this, there isn't a feel to a course. Usually when you play a course, you get a feel for how it is developing, progressing to the finish. However, when you play a hole that is links style and then go right into a "bomb and gouge" style, it is hard to develop any feel for how the course is moving toward 18. I enjoy playing the course because it has usually been in good shape and they have indeed lowered the price (but still not exactly cheap). As long as you aren't playing too bad, you can probably get through in under 5 hours on the weekend. The course really does give you a very good experience though - from when you drop your clubs off and they get you set up, to the presentation in the clubhouse and the look of the facilities there, it feels like an expensive course should. I would certainly recommend trying the course out, at least for the utter joy of being able to take a shot at the 17th at Sawgrass. Sure, it is only 134 yards, but it is all carry and usually you will have two groups on the tee playing it because it gets backed up. Same with Amen Corner, this is the slowest part of the course. Play it at least once, just to say you did. read more

I had heard about this place for a while, so I decided to go check it out. I'll review things as they happened. Initially, as you pull up to the clubhouse, you swing by the bag dropoff. There, someone takes your clubs and puts them on a cart for you (if you're taking one, not sure if its required). Those guys were friendly and got us taken care of. We then went in to pay. The round cost around $86 for 18 holes, which I thought was a bit steep, but paid anyway since I came there to play. After paying, we ran into a guy that told us it was WAY cheaper if you booked and paid online. Wish I had known that before plunking down nearly $90, but you live and you learn. The course was in pretty good shape, but I definitely don't think it was worth the price. The place is supposed to recreate famous holes from around the golf world, but I honestly wouldn't know how accurate they were. I do know that there are a shitload of sand traps out there. Some were in spots that would kill you if you got a good tee shot, which I wasn't a fan of. Everything was electronic. The scorecards were on a digital display on the cart. It would tell you about the "famous" hole if you hit the flyby button. I can say that I could have done without that whole thing, and would have rather had a paper scorecard I could walk away with. Otherwise, you need to use your email to get your score card. Didn't like that. When you drove somewhere they didn't want you to the cart would slow down and creep along until you got to where you should have been. Cool feature, but also annoying. A simple alert message on the display could have worked better. I also had a BLT in tbe clubhouse. It was delicious, albeit also a bit pricey. Overall, if I do go back, it will be booked online and for twilight hours, because i really don't think it was worth $86.. read more

This is a really nice course, with friendly staff and a interesting clubhouse. Cool pictures and interesting memorabilia in the bar/grill area. The course has a good putting green and a nice driving range with mats and grass tees. Course in itself is not too bad from the Back tees. Amen corner is amazing. Really felt like you were playing in Augusta. TPC Sawgrass par 3 hole is an excellent rendition from the Players course. Very sloped green, hard to get a 2, depending on where the hole is. I played with a buddy if mine and we were the first ones out. It was cart path only, and the carts will not move if you stray from the path. There is GPS in each cart and it was pretty accurate versus a bushnell range finder. Overall the course was pretty cool to play. A little pricey, but an awesome experience for the average golfer only dreaming of playing Augusta or TPC Sawgrass. They even have yellow flags for Amen Corner, and the wicker basket for a hole from Merion Golf Club. Only negative might be pace of play, bit try to get out early and beat the rush! read more

I'm rating it purely off of my two times coming here for a baby shower and wedding rehearsal. It was very nice! Food was good enough, I find at big events you won't get perfect food - but it's a pleasant surprise when it's good! The service was great! Everyone was nice and never bothered when we asked for something. Easy location to get to. I don't golf but a lot of my family members do and they say this is a decent golf course. Played Renditions yesterday and generally enjoyed it, though the experience probably does not justify the cost, which was $75/person for a Saturday morning tee time, including cart. Carts are required, which makes sense because there are a couple of quarter-mile drives between holes. The course itself was in marginal shape. The greens were pretty well maintained and rolled true, but the tee boxes and fairways were pretty chewed up. Dirt-filled divots cover each fairway, which is a little disappointing. That said, the course is a lot of fun if you like the concept of playing some famous holes. The renditions of Amen Corner at Augusta National are pretty good, and it was very cool seeing Tiger's name on the replica leaderboard along the fairway of the Augusta #11 (Renditions #6). The rendition of Augusta #13 could be a little more accurate, some pine straw in the trees, which seems a very easy fix, would improve the realism. The rendition of #17 at Sawgrass (Renditions #13) was very good, and that tee shot is a lot of fun. If you want to experience Renditions I would recommend GolfNow or similar site/app to try and get a reduced price tee time. Don't expect pristine conditions and just enjoy the holes and I think you will find it a good golf experience. read more

So if you work in Prince George's or Anne Arundel County, this is the perfect place to throw a holiday party or even a wedding reception. The Country Club is gorgeous! The formal living room is large and quaint at the same time. The ladies felt a little under dressed because of the sparkling white table cloths, I of course was looking quite dapper in Hugo Boss.. Lol We celebrated our division's holiday party here and the food was EXCELLENT. They have an on-site chef and this guy knows what he's doing. We had all meat crab cakes, succulent prime rib and baked Cornish hens.. All finger lickin good!! The bar area is what you expect at a country club.. A lot of rich wood and a lot of good scotch!!!.. This was the first golf course we played at when we moved to Annapolis. A friend had told us the course was a little "hokey" as it's modeled after holes from famous golf courses around the world. So, my expectations were low. But I was pleasantly surprised. The practice facilities are top notch, with driving range, greens, bunker practice. The conditions were excellent. The hubs and I liked it all around. And what we liked best, it was pretty quiet. On a summer Saturday afternoon, we got 18 holes in 4 hours 10 minutes...that is tough to do almost anywhere. And we didn't even play through anyone! If memory serves me correctly, the food was good too. I'll have to update when I go back - and there will definitely be a next time. If this place where 5 minutes closer, we'd probably play it a lot. But with rates around $75, it's not somewhere we'd play every weekend. I have to admit, I really enjoyed the little "stories" they had posted at each tee box describing one of the more famous or infamous incidents that occurred on that hole (at the real course). Someone with a sharp wit and sense of humor made the round that much more enjoyable for us. read more

Appreciate arrogance over humility when you give feedback? If you answered yes, then the Renditions is the place for you! The course layout is great, but if you are concerned about the accuracy of the anecdotal questions above, they are all accurate and happened today. I've spoken to management on-site and offline, they're defensive and arrogant. Pace of play has always been terrible here, but not exercising safety when groups hit into other groups repeatedly and justifying poor course management (ranging / pace of play) by stating, "it's Saturday what do you expect?" stresses that this place is all about money and not about improving or embodying integrity or customer service. I've been playing on and off for a few years. I've got to say that Renditions was one of the hardest courses I've played. We played from the White Tee's and yet lost a lot of balls. The course is in excellent condition. However, I would say that if you plan on having a few beers while you're playing, stock up before you head out, which thankfully we did. The beer cart does not come by very often. At about $70/per person, it's a great course. Don't think about walking this course. You will have a very long round (5+hrs) and will have a lot of pissed of players behind you. One of our players was running late and the starter was very good about it. They kept moving other groups ahead of us. The clubhouse is very warm and welcoming. Drinks are priced pretty fairly. Food was OK. But what do you expect - you are there to play golf not to judge them by their menu options. I would love to go back and play there again. read more

I have nothing positive to say about Renditions anymore. You used to pay $70 and at the very least, you got to hit some free balls on the range. Now you're paying like $80 on the weekend (and not much less on weekdays), and then they have the stones to charge you $12 for a bucket of balls. I could perhaps ignore the cost if the course was actually in good shape. Well, it's not, and never is. It's a trash can that I wouldn't even feel good paying $40 to play. The greens are destroyed and littered with ball marks. The gimmicky course attempts to recreate famous holes by squishing the contour of the actual greens (like Sawgrass 17) into a green 1/4 of the size. And good luck getting an approach shot to stay on the green. It's like hitting into a parking lot. If you want to pay $80 to golf, cross the bridge and play Queenstown. At least you get free range balls, less traffic, and a beautiful track in exceptional condition. read more
