They buried my sister in 2010. There was a discrepancy in the casket that was noticed the night before her funeral. Angie not only corrected the issue, but upgraded my sister's casket. We walked into the church the next morning and we shed tears not just because of our loss,but because of how beautifully she was prepared. She looked like the Princess that she was! Angie followed up with us weeks afterwards, to make sure we didn't need help with thank you cards! Since then, they have buried two of my uncles, a few family friends, and members of our church, all from our referrals. We even stop by just to say hello to them when we are in the area. Their staff is truly a family. I feel so indebted to them for going above and beyond their duty at such a pressing and dire time of our lives. I highly recommend them!

His skin was actually gray-without color- and had gray blotches on his cheeks. It didn't look like him. A rosary was added without permission. Family members were not allowed to enter at the beginning of the viewing until the person who made arrangements arrived. The ordered food through Geisen was there but not opened for guests, who were unsure if it was for them or was to be taken back to the house. Guests also had trouble finding the guest book to sign as it was placed behind an open door. The person in charge continues to be there and though she was apologetic, her leadership for the experience doesn't replace the experience which should have been a different one for a grieving family.

When I entered the chapel area where the family was receiving guests, I was immediately drawn to the flowers. They were that beautiful and exquisitely done I thought for a minute I did them myself, down to the long flowing ribbons that added such grace and elegance. The family flowers, the end baskets and casket spray were just that stunning. You see, I've been a florist and owned my own shop in downtown Chicago for over 35 years, so I've been around. I would say she is one of nicest human beings I have ever met. I never once felt uncomfortable. She was soothing and had a kind and warm energy to her. She was charismatic and I can not stress enough so kind. In a very difficult time the last thing you want is to deal with anyone rude or unthoughtful and I was just blown away by the service we got here. She went above and beyond. She went through everything with us and made great suggestion and was great at explaining everything. And when I had to ID my father before cremation she took the time to put a little make up on him to make him look normal and I cannot express how much I deeply appreciate that. It's like I got to see my dad nice and peaceful one last time and I can never thank her enough for that. The thoughtfulness that was put behind that is so worth mentioning. And after the funeral she even made my mother and I little containers with dried flowers from the funeral and the stones we had. I mean just so much compassion and consideration for us. And I know she has to deal with grieving people all the time and it must be exhausting but for her to do the little things along with the big things made the difference for me.
