I wish we could give more than five stars. Rendezvous was the best band we have ever heard at a wedding, and our guests still cannot stop talking about their amazing performance. Ask for an "East Coast" style wedding. They started playing right when the guests began to enter, and had everyone on the dance floor the entire time. The only complaints we heard from guests was that their feet hurt from dancing so much. We worked with Toni and Sarah leading up to the event, and they were so incredibly helpful. They listened to what we wanted in terms of song choices, energy level, and overall atmosphere, and were so flexible in learning our first dance song. The songs they played during meals were absolutely beautiful, and all band members, including the four singers, were so talented. Each signer had their own unique style, and they all worked so well together. I cannot recommend this group enough. We had the most amazing wedding, and a very large part of the experience for us and for our guests was this amazing and engaging band. I wish we could hear them again. read more

Seemed great - talked to us and were interactive - until they weren't. We scheduled time to come see them live and specifically asked if they would let us know if someone wanted to book before us and they said yes. Next thing we know we get an email saying our date is gone, no explanation and no apologies. Wrote back to express my disappointment and never heard back. read more

BOOK RENDEZVOUS! They are SO amazing! We had a full dance floor at our wedding all night long, even for the last song (which they customized for us). It was LIT! We continue to get compliments on our wedding band two months later. I have no doubt that friends at our wedding who are looking to book a band for their future weddings will want to book Rendezvous. They could get ANY party started. We had an absolute blast dancing the night away to the outstanding vocals & instruments. We had a 12-piece band and my in-laws (who hired Rendezvous) felt that it was worth every penny. They offered such a huge variety of music that they could fit any person's taste. They also were willing to learn a few new songs for us, including our first dance song and ceremony songs. They were also great at involving the crowd and interacting with us & our guests. We would all hire them again in a second for a future event. I cannot thank them enough for helping to make our special day so memorable! read more

See all

Where do I even begin? Rendezvous helped make our wedding absolutely spectacular. We knew they were amazing from the videos we saw online, but it truly does not do their live performance justice! They did an incredible job from start to finish. Our ceremony music was beautiful and exactly as we envisioned, the cocktail hour music was equally great, and the full band for our reception was too incredible to properly describe. They made the reception spectacularly fun - guests kept telling us that it was like being at a concert! Toni was also a joy to work with, and she was extremely helpful and gracious in ensuring that we had the proper equipment set up so that a friend of ours could sing live for our first dance (rather than the band). We are so thankful that we hired Rendezvous for our wedding! read more

We had Greenlight perform at our June 2023 wedding and they truly were the highlight of the entire day for us and all of our guests! MANY people noted it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. The communication with Neal (band leader, drummer) from the beginning was outstanding - even before the wedding day. Wedding day music (ceremony was piano/violin, quartet for dinner, 9 piece band for reception) was spectacular and FAR EXCEEDED expectations. They were incredibly fun & upbeat in addition to phenomenal singers and performers. Our dance floor was PACKED the entire night - even during their brief break. Guests absolutely raved about them. Variety of music spanning all genres and generations. Book Greenlight (or Rendezvous) for your next event - you will not regret it! read more

Couldn't have asked for a better wedding band than Green Light. They were expensive, but music plays such a crucial role in the evening that the investment is well worth it. We had an "east coast style" wedding, where the band plays sets in between courses and gets people out of their seats to dance. Even though most guests were unfamiliar with the process, Greenlight expertly MC'd the whole thing and made our wedding that much more fun. Aside from the music, their cooperation and processes were very reassuring too. I could tell from our first meeting with Neal that we made a good choice. Real pro's. I get more compliments about the band than anything. read more

Our friends and family are still freaking out about how talented Toni and Rendezvous are, and with good reason. There is no doubt, they made the night. I don't think there was one moment in the evening when the dance floor wasn't packed. The energy was just over the top. It meant so much to us that the band took the time to learn several songs for us. When they played these, well, I can't even describe in words what it meant to us. We will never forget the fun we had, and we owe a huge thanks to Rendezvous for their incredible performance. Highly recommend this band!!! read more

Rendezvous kept our 200 guests dancing and having fun all night long at our daughter's wedding! Their music and song set selections were perfect, appealing to both the younger and older generations. The musicians and vocalists are incredibly talented, performing every song as well or better than the original artist. Unlike at other weddings when the band changes songs and/or genres, and people trickle off the dance floor, at our wedding the dance floor was full the entire night! All of our guests were totally blown away by their experience, telling us both during and after the wedding that this was the best band ever! The owner and bandleader, Toni, was wonderful to work with! When we met with her a few weeks before the wedding, she was very warm and happy to accommodate our requests. She served as the MC for the evening, and did a fantastic job keeping everything flowing smoothly. If you want a fantastically fun party, definitely hire Rendezvous! read more

We had Greenlight at our wedding and wow! They were recommended from our friends and everyone was impressed. This is not the typical wedding band. They perform and make everyone around you want to dance and have fun. So much to thank them for. Our wedding was in September and people are still talking about how much fun it was. My husband and I even ended up on stage singing don't stop believing. Incredible night. Thanks guys! read more

Rendezvous is worth every penny. We are so glad we hired them to travel from Chicago to Madison, WI for our wedding. They are talented musicians, read the crowd, and keep the party going like a concert and a dance party. Our guests were amazed at their talent and energy - they never stopped playing because they seemed to rotate taking their breaks - and everyone raved about them. Everyone was on the floor dancing. Plus their amazing violinists performed with great choreography and other band members during dinner. read more

Green Light was amazing at our daughter's wedding! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire evening and even during dinner their performances were off the charts! My daughter and son-in-law had some particular songs that they wanted played that the band had to work up. Their rendition was even better than the originals! We would never use any other band! Thank you for making their wedding a dream come true! read more

No words can begin to describe how much Rendezvous Music made our wedding day complete. 7 months later, I still get asked who my wedding band was and get told all the time how the made the wedding complete. It is critical to not only have great performers and music for your guests, but to have someone who really works to move the night along and time everything PERFECTLY! Toni knows what she is doing, and it is guaranteed to be a smooth, fun night so long as they are there. You don't want to miss them, they are the BEST of the BEST!! read more

Having Rendezvous play at our wedding was the best decision we made! They are all so talented and professional. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful they were. Thank you Toni and the band for making our wedding so fabulous! read more

We worked with Greenlight and they were phenomenal- best wedding band anyone at our wedding had ever heard. Neil- the drummer and band leader- was easy to work with, the music was incredible, and they really responded to what we wanted. We don't plan to get married again but if we were to, the first thing we'd do is book Greenlight. read more

Rendezvous is amazing. Hands down. We had a great time with them at our wedding this past Saturday and are so happy that we had them performing. They helped create an amazing atmosphere the entire time and all of our guests were raving about them during the night and all day the next day we saw them. A few people told us they thought the band had taken a break at one point because they sounded so good that it couldn't be the band (they did not take a break). Nothing but super positive reviews from everyone we talked to who was in attendance. They helped make the night extra special and kept the dance floor packed. Amazing job. Everyone I spoke to from the band members to the audio guys that night were super friendly and professional throughout the night. They were also flexible and played some unexpected dinner music when the entrees came out a little later than planned. Toni checked in with us every so often as the night progressed and helped keep the night running smoothly. She is an excellent MC. Everything was just fantastic. We would certainly recommend Rendezvous to anyone considering a band for their wedding reception. The night wouldn't have been the same without them. read more

My husband and I booked Greenlight as the band for our wedding, and we walked away nothing short of amazed! The decision between DJ and band wasn't easy for our wedding but I am so happy we went with Greenlight! Neal helped us to create an amazing list of songs that were perfect for our guests and was willing to work with all of my "no play" requests for certain songs that I definitely didn't want to hear at my wedding. The band was on time, organized, and put on a phenomenal performance. Out of all of our vendors, our band received the most raves from our guests and I'm still receiving emails about who our band was, 2 weeks after the wedding! I am so happy that we worked with Greenlight and would highly recommend them to any couple getting married in the Chicago area! Hoping to see them again soon! read more

Rendezvous played at my daughter's wedding July 7, 2018. From the minute they started playing til they ended, the dance floor was packed! They are incredible. We actually had them play for an extra half-hour because by 1:00 am everyone was still out there dancing and having a great time. I can't say enough about every single member of their 15 piece band and Toni is absolutely fabulous to work with and a true professional of the highest quality. All of my out of town guests asked "where did you get this band from?" I highly recommend Rendezvous either 15 piece or any smaller ensemble of their musicians for your event. read more

I just had Greenlight play at my wedding on 1/20/18 at Hotel Arista, and they were amazing. The orchestra was beautiful for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the band and violinists absolutely made my reception. They were one of the first decisions I made about the wedding and the best decision. We had our reception east coast style to highlight the dancing throughout the night, and it was an absolute blast. I even made several last minute changes to songs right before the wedding and they executed everything perfectly. Almost every single person at the wedding said they had never been to an east coast style reception before, and they had never heard such an amazing wedding band. If you want a packed dance floor the entire night and an unforgettable experience, pick Greenlight! read more

We used Greenlight (Rendezvous' sister band)....and you guys....INCREDIBLE. They are THE BEST wedding band I've ever experienced in my entire life. I've never heard some many people raving about a wedding band...ever!! I knew they were going to be amazing...but they beyond exceeded my expectations. My guests loved them. The singing......unreal....my dance floor was packed the entire evening. They were so fun too!!! They brought so much energy to the room....it was like a concert that everyone was jumping around too. They even got out on the dance floor with us. They were simply amazing.....just the best. Rendevous music has to be your first call if you are thinking about a band. They're life changing....you won't regret it!!!! read more

Rendezvous is a group of incredibly talented, professional and fun artists! 3 months after our wedding people are still talking about the band and the fantastic dance party they kept going for hours. From the time we met with them til the end of the wedding night, my husband and I were their first priority-they learned a couple special songs for us and performed our favorites all night. Toni and her vocalists are unbelievably talented-Country, Rap, Motown, Pop Classic Rock, traditional Jewish-everything was awesome-they killed it! I would recommend them to anyone who wants a great dance party and beautiful soundtrack to their wedding. Toni and her team made our wedding better than perfect! She was a wonderful MC for the night and kept the energy and happy vibes going all night. We love you guys!!! read more

Oh My Gosh! Rendezvous was one of the best decisions we made in planning our daughter's wedding. They were absolutely the best band ever. Our guests danced all night and I mean everyone danced to every song. The dance floor was packed!! Everyone was commenting on how awesome they were. Tina was awesome to work with. LOVE THEM!!! I think if you have a well stocked bar and a great band your event is sure to be a success. Thank you Rendezvous. read more

Greenlight was AMAZING. Neal, the band leader, was super responsive, professional, accommodating (we had some special requests - to slightly alter our first dance, to have our MIL sing with the band - and they didn't blink an eye at any of it). Long story short, Neal was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. And then, the night of the wedding, holy moley - they were incredible! They knew every genre, every song - even brand new hits just out on the radio! And they didn't just sing... they performed. Dancing up on stage along with the singing - their energy was amazing, and they kept the entire party up on its feet the whole night, which is just what we wanted. We got the most compliments on Greenlight out of anything throughout the night. They were FABULOUS. Book them early! read more

Rendezvous played at our wedding and was simply amazing! The music really makes a party, and they were dead on! They felt the crowds energy and went with it! We have received SOO many compliments on the band and people asking who they were. They even learned special songs for us, they made our day so special and spectacular!!!! I highly recommend them!! read more

We first danced to Rendezvous when my son and daughter-in-law got married in 2013. They created a fun atmosphere and the wedding was fantastic. Rendevous also provided the music when our nephew and his wife got married in 2014. It was another amazing wedding where the dance floor was always packed. We knew, when we were in the initial planning stages for our daughter's wedding, that we couldn't imagine planning a wedding without Rendezvous being a part of the evening. Toni DiDonato was beyond accomodating when it came to meeting our needs and helping us with song choices, as well as wonderful when working with people at the venue where the wedding was held. We had an extra large dance floor as we have many family and friends who love to dance and STILL our all of our guests were dancing all around the room throughout the evening, not just on the dance floor. The energy and enthusiam of the band was contagious. One of our guests turned 90 the day of the wedding and said, though he rarely dances, the band was so incredible that he never sat down other than to eat his meal. We can't say enough about what the band adds to an event and we will choose to have Rendezvous at any event we plan in the future! read more

Rendezvous did an amazing job at our wedding! We got a ton of compliments about the band and they did an amazing job reading the crowd and playing the right type of music and keeping everyone on their feet dancing! We had a really FUN wedding and that had a lot to do with Rendezvous! My husband and I aren't really "music people" so we didn't give Rendezvous much guidance - they did it on their own! Toni DiDonato, the leader of the group, was fantastic to work with and helped us choose our ceremony music and other key songs because we didn't have many ideas of our own. She was willing to negotiate some on price so we were able to work the band into our budget. The band starts with 8 members and you can go up to 16 or 17 -- we had 10 people. The basic 8 are the "rhythm" section of guitar, drums, keyboard (I'm forgetting one) and four vocalists. We had 10 members by adding a trumpet and saxophone. They were all very professional and did a fantastic job! The one thing we did care about with the music was that we wanted traditional klezmer music for the first half hour pre-ceremony and Toni was really wonderful about that too - she pulled out special music for the 3 musicians doing the ceremony part of the event (we had only had all 10 musicians for the party) and a couple of weeks before the event ended up hiring a clarinet player who specializes in klezmer music to perform during that part of the event - at no additional charge to us. She really preferred to deliver a great product and bring the right musicians to our event rather than do what I believe was cheaper for her & just use her core musicians and have them play music they weren't familiar with. Totally professional, talented and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend for any wedding or charity function!!! read more

We danced all night long--literally! I don't think that there was ever a moment when the dance floor was not totally packed and that is all due to our amazing band--Rendezvous! Our wedding planner, Megan Estrada of Northshore Weddings & Events, recommended Rendezvous to us, and we could not be happier that we selected them as our wedding band. Working with Toni DiDonato was wonderful, and she and the rest of the band are outstanding performers that kept the crowd out on the dance floor all night long up until the very last song. We received countless compliments from our guests about our band, and we could not agree more--Rendezvous is an awesome band that does a great job reading the crowd to know what kind of music people want to hear and keeps everyone on their feet. I would HIGHLY recommend Rendezvous for any event that you are planning that you want to get people up and dancing--our wedding reception was the best time and thanks to Toni and the rest of the band we will always remember dancing the night away with all of our family and friends! read more

When the five stars above say "as good as it gets" that doesn't even cover how we feel about Neal and the Greenlight band. We hired them about a year ago for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. We agonized over the decision between Greenlight and another band we were considering that also came highly recommended. One of the best decision we made! I probably sound over the top but there aren't enough superlatives. We didn't stop hearing "BEST BAND EVER" and "BEST WEDDING EVER". The energy, talent and professionalism blew us away. You know you have a great band when you still have a packed dance floor at the end of the evening. We extended the party because nobody wanted to leave. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'd also like to add that the ceremony musicians that were also an integral part of the evening were superb. I can't wait to get the video because I was so nervous walking my daughter down the aisle that I honestly don't even remember any sound except buzzing in my ears. But everyone said they were superb :) You HAVE to have this band. No question. read more
