I wish we could give more than five stars. Rendezvous was the best band we have ever heard at a wedding, and our guests still cannot stop talking about their amazing performance. Ask for an "East Coast" style wedding. They started playing right when the guests began to enter, and had everyone on the dance floor the entire time. The only complaints we heard from guests was that their feet hurt from dancing so much. We worked with Toni and Sarah leading up to the event, and they were so incredibly helpful. They listened to what we wanted in terms of song choices, energy level, and overall atmosphere, and were so flexible in learning our first dance song. The songs they played during meals were absolutely beautiful, and all band members, including the four singers, were so talented. Each signer had their own unique style, and they all worked so well together. I cannot recommend this group enough. We had the most amazing wedding, and a very large part of the experience for us and for our guests was this amazing and engaging band. I wish we could hear them again. read more

Seemed great - talked to us and were interactive - until they weren't. We scheduled time to come see them live and specifically asked if they would let us know if someone wanted to book before us and they said yes. BOOK RENDEZVOUS! They are SO amazing! We had a full dance floor at our wedding all night long, even for the last song (which they customized for us). It was LIT! We continue to get compliments on our wedding band two months later. I have no doubt that friends at our wedding who are looking to book a band for their future weddings will want to book Rendezvous. They could get ANY party started. We had an absolute blast dancing the night away to the outstanding vocals & instruments. We had a 12-piece band and my in-laws (who hired Rendezvous) felt that it was worth every penny. They offered such a huge variety of music that they could fit any person's taste. Where do I even begin? Rendezvous helped make our wedding absolutely spectacular. We knew they were amazing from the videos we saw online, but it truly does not do their live performance justice! They did an incredible job from start to finish. Our ceremony music was beautiful and exactly as we envisioned, the cocktail hour music was equally great, and the full band for our reception was too incredible to properly describe. They made the reception spectacularly fun - guests kept telling us that it was like being at a concert! Couldn't have asked for a better wedding band than Green Light. They were expensive, but music plays such a crucial role in the evening that the investment is well worth it. We had an "east coast style" wedding, where the band plays sets in between courses and gets people out of their seats to dance. Even though most guests were unfamiliar with the process, Greenlight expertly MC'd the whole thing and made our wedding that much more fun. Aside from the music, their cooperation and processes were very reassuring too. I could tell from our first meeting with Neal that we made a good choice. Real pro's. Our friends and family are still freaking out about how talented Toni and Rendezvous are, and with good reason. There is no doubt, they made the night. Rendezvous kept our 200 guests dancing and having fun all night long at our daughter's wedding! Their music and song set selections were perfect, appealing to both the younger and older generations. The musicians and vocalists are incredibly talented, performing every song as well or better than the original artist. Unlike at other weddings when the band changes songs and/or genres, and people trickle off the dance floor, at our wedding the dance floor was full the entire night! All of our guests were totally blown away by their experience, telling us both during and after the wedding that this was the best band ever! The owner and bandleader, Toni, was wonderful to work with! When we met with her a few weeks before the wedding, she was very warm and happy to accommodate our requests. Rendezvous is worth every penny. We are so glad we hired them to travel from Chicago to Madison, WI for our wedding. Rendezvous played at my daughter's wedding July 7, 2018. From the minute they started playing til they ended, the dance floor was packed! They are incredible. We actually had them play for an extra half-hour because by 1:00 am everyone was still out there dancing and having a great time. Rendezvous is amazing. Hands down. We had a great time with them at our wedding this past Saturday and are so happy that we had them performing. I just had Greenlight play at my wedding on 1/20/18 at Hotel Arista, and they were amazing. The orchestra was beautiful for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the band and violinists absolutely made my reception. They were one of the first decisions I made about the wedding and the best decision. We had our reception east coast style to highlight the dancing throughout the night, and it was an absolute blast. Neal, the band leader, was super responsive, professional, accommodating (we had some special requests - to slightly alter our first dance, to have our MIL sing with the band - and they didn't blink an eye at any of it). Long story short, Neal was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. And then, the night of the wedding, holy moley - they were incredible! We first danced to Rendezvous when my son and daughter-in-law got married in 2013. They created a fun atmosphere and the wedding was fantastic. Rendevous also provided the music when our nephew and his wife got married in 2014. It was another amazing wedding where the dance floor was always packed. We knew, when we were in the initial planning stages for our daughter's wedding, that we couldn't imagine planning a wedding without Rendezvous being a part of the evening. Toni DiDonato was beyond accomodating when it came to meeting our needs and helping us with song choices, as well as wonderful when working with people at the venue where the wedding was held. We had an extra large dance floor as we have many family and friends who love to dance and STILL our all of our guests were dancing all around the room throughout the evening, not just on the dance floor. The energy and enthusiam of the band was contagious. One of our guests turned 90 the day of the wedding and said, though he rarely dances, the band was so incredible that he never sat down other than to eat his meal. Rendezvous did an amazing job at our wedding! We got a ton of compliments about the band and they did an amazing job reading the crowd and playing the right type of music and keeping everyone on their feet dancing! We had a really FUN wedding and that had a lot to do with Rendezvous! My husband and I aren't really "music people" so we didn't give Rendezvous much guidance - they did it on their own! Toni DiDonato, the leader of the group, was fantastic to work with and helped us choose our ceremony music and other key songs because we didn't have many ideas of our own. She was willing to negotiate some on price so we were able to work the band into our budget. The band starts with 8 members and you can go up to 16 or 17 -- we had 10 people. The basic 8 are the "rhythm" section of guitar, drums, keyboard (I'm forgetting one) and four vocalists. We had 10 members by adding a trumpet and saxophone. They were all very professional and did a fantastic job! The one thing we did care about with the music was that we wanted traditional klezmer music for the first half hour pre-ceremony and Toni was really wonderful about that too - she pulled out special music for the 3 musicians doing the ceremony part of the event (we had only had all 10 musicians for the party) and a couple of weeks before the event ended up hiring a clarinet player who specializes in klezmer music to perform during that part of the event - at no additional charge to us. She really preferred to deliver a great product and bring the right musicians to our event rather than do what I believe was cheaper for her & just use her core musicians and have them play music they weren't familiar with. Totally professional, talented and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend for any wedding or charity function!!! read more

We danced all night long--literally! I don't think that there was ever a moment when the dance floor was not totally packed and that is all due to our amazing band--Rendezvous! Our wedding planner, Megan Estrada of Northshore Weddings & Events, recommended Rendezvous to us, and we could not be happier that we selected them as our wedding band. When the five stars above say "as good as it gets" that doesn't even cover how we feel about Neal and the Greenlight band. We hired them about a year ago for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. We agonized over the decision between Greenlight and another band we were considering that also came highly recommended. One of the best decision we made! I probably sound over the top but there aren't enough superlatives. We didn't stop hearing "BEST BAND EVER" and "BEST WEDDING EVER". The energy, talent and professionalism blew us away. You know you have a great band when you still have a packed dance floor at the end of the evening. We extended the party because nobody wanted to leave. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'd also like to add that the ceremony musicians that were also an integral part of the evening were superb. I can't wait to get the video because I was so nervous walking my daughter down the aisle that I honestly don't even remember any sound except buzzing in my ears.
