3/3/18 So many concerns when planning a wedding. Will the…read morevenue stay solvent? Will the photographer show up? Will the food, baker, and florist make your guests glad they drove halfway across the state to attend your daughter's wedding. But mostly, will the band be so phenomenal that a week after the wedding, your friends are still saying that the band was the best they've ever heard at a wedding. And there it is...Matt Stedman Band and Ring of Music Orchestra is just such a band. Not only were the members so talented, Matt became a bit of a pre-wedding mentor for me and my daughter. He calmed our concerns, spent hours going over the song list and learned several new songs that were important to us. During the various stages of the wedding, he transitioned from calming ceremonial music, to upbeat cocktail music, to rock them out of their chairs!! There are not enough stars to give Matt Stedman - he's simply that good. I am so glad I chose Matt Stedman. He made my daughter's wedding a huge success. And one more thing, he takes his music and band very seriously. He wanted to make sure we were all having a good time, which we absolutely were. When the wedding ended, he spent quite a bit of time talking with me and my daughter. He personalized himself with us. By the time he left, I knew about his family, how he got started, and what music meant to him. By the time he was done, I wanted to adopt him. Wonderful band, one that is worthy of 10 stars.

Their music selection was so so long I had a hard time picking from all of the variety! Shane was incredibly collaborative and really listened to what we wanted. He encouraged us to create Spotify playlists for inspiration and used them to curate music that felt completely reflective of us as a couple - from old-school '90s country to yacht rock during dinner. He even created a custom '80s and '90s family sitcom theme-song mashup for our family to enter the reception to, which had everyone laughing and was such a fun, personal touch. Once the dance floor opened, Shane's energy was unmatched. He was amazing on the mic, rapped, danced, interacted with our guests, and kept the dance floor going all night. He knew how to read the room while still making sure the night felt like us, and we received so many compliments about both the music and his energy. Ending the night with one of my all-time favorite '90s country songs, "Neon Moon," and then giving us an encore of "Sandstorm" at my drunken request truly made my heart so happy. Shane completely understood the assignment from beginning to end. We could not recommend DJ Shane and Green Line Talent more highly. He listened, collaborated, brought our ideas to life, and made our reception feel completely and uniquely us. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!
