I found this studio while driving around the area and decided to give the beginner's level a try. I'm so glad I did because a year later I can say that my skills as a belly dancer and in choreography have improved! Jasmin who owns the studio is a fantastic teacher! She has years of expertise and really breaks down the steps for you so you can learn the proper technique of the dance. She's also very passionate about belly dancing which is great because I'm also learning the history and different styles of belly dancing beyond just focusing on technique and moves. Jasmin offers three level classes of belly dancing: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. You meet once or twice a week for a 6-8 week class session. Other classes are offered outside of belly dancing that focus on a well-rounded workout of conditioning, strengthening, and toning. I'm currently in the intermediate level of belly dancing classes and love it! Also all the ladies in class are wonderful and welcoming! There's still so much to learn but I've come a long way and have more of an appreciation on the art of belly dancing!

So far I have tried Kpop and hip hop with my friends and we always have a really great time! Since they are newly started, they offer a trial class for free. Simply get in contact with them and let them know what class you are interested in trying out. They're super prompt with responses. For adult classes, there is no commitment. You can go every week or just every few weeks. You pay for each class or can buy a class pass for 10 classes at a discounted rate. Also if you're a student, there are discounted rates! They are still in the process of updating their studio such as putting in new dance floors and getting a sign, so if you see a sign for Tae Kwon Do, no worries! You have found the right place!

Bobby and Julia are excellent instructors who are skilled, friendly and patient with their students. We found these lessons to be a healthy activity to do together as a couple and a lot of fun. I've been taking classes from Grace for a few months now and I really like it. I've done a few…read moredifferent styles of belly dance, but never ATS. Grace is super passionate and very funny. She's willing to change her plans at the last minute depending on what her students want. She spends time on teaching technique and working on specific moves, but also gives her students time to just dance, which is definitely the most fun. She can break down moves into a way that's easy to understand and she understands how to move so that you don't hurt yourself. It's really helping me build confidence because sometimes you have to be the leader and you have to trust in yourself. I'm not very good at improvising, and I really feel like this is helping a lot. Maybe it's a stretch, but I do think it extends into the rest of my life. The groupon class is really fun - if you're thinking about trying belly dance, definitely do it.

I appreciated that she taught us about the history of the dance too instead of just the moves. The reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because it was a little hard to get a hold of Grace to ask about whether I needed to sign up for class and just come (just come was the answer). It took me a couple of phone calls to reach her, but the fun I had in the class outweighed that issue. I would go again if I didn't live far away.
