The perfect place to rendezvous. This hotel bar might just be one of my favorite spots in Flagstaff. We stopped by New Years Eve day for a few fancy cocktails. This mairtini bar is pretty expansive with table top, lounge and bar seating. We opted for the lounge area in the back and visited the nearby quickie-stop to purchase a deck of cards. I ordered the Ginuwine's Pony: Cruzan white rum, green chartreuse, lime, pineapple, creme de cacao, and Aperol float.. It was absolutely terrible, but this was largely due to my immature taste buds. I also tried their spiked chai, which was a huge hit amongst our group. Playing cards on their comfy couches while drinking toasty beverages made the snowfall extra magical! read more

Love this cocktail bar and the drinks here are spot on good. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to cocktails cuz the Big Apple has spoiled me rotten with excellent places, so my bar is pretty high. This place makes the cut and the night we were here, all cocktails were $10. A handsome couple was sitting next to us and honestly I couldn't stop looking at the gorgeous woman in the pair. Definitely she was SE Asian, tall, lanky. Possibly a model...just wish there were more good looking people in here to flirt with... Maybe better luck next time, or I'll just have to fly home to NYC to get my eye candy fix. read more

Since it was raining we happened to stop in for "Just One". The bartender was perfect in his recommendations and his Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned were perfect.....so good we had to have another round! The feel of this upgraded hotel lobby bar is comfortable and cozy with comfortable couches and chairs. The only downfall is the terribly high prices of the drinks, our two rounds were more than the dinner we ate at another establishment afterwards. Stop in and grab a drink, just don't spend too much time there or you'll have to refinance your house. read more

Although the staff is good, the owners make this an impossible place to enjoy anything. If the prices are this high, then the experience should match. The employees follow the direction of the owners who are inconsistent. Additionally, we locals know how they treated the staff during COVid. Absolutely inexcusable. Just remember the people who work for you are WHY and HOW you make money. Also your clientele, if you treat them awful, you won't have a business, especially in Flagstaff. read more

Love to come here to wind down when we are in town usually bar hoping and having fun. The atmosphere here is more chill and casual but with more high end drinks. I usually like to grab a little high top by a window and people watch while sipping my cocktail or coffee. I have never been disappointed by either. & if you aren't feeling fancy they also have some beers on tap. This place does get really packed during peak hours but if you can make it in between its really relaxing. I even brought my 3 year old son in with me one night after dinner and sat in the sitting room next to the bar where I saw other parents with toddlers and no one batted an eye at any of us. If you haven't stopped in here before, you definitely should. read more

Initially caught my eye because of how pretty it looked at first glance-- the place is pretty spacious and has different rooms with plenty of seating and good music plus, great chill lighting for nighttime. I've been terribly lazy & tardy in posting this long overdue review. I've been coming here for years (although sporadically) when traveling up to Flagstaff. I can honestly say I've never had a cocktail at this bar that I could say is simply "good" or "satisfactory". Every single craft or specialty cocktail I've had here has been nothing short of exceptional. We had high hopes for this place as it seemed to be a pretty cool little cocktail bar right in downtown flag. However the drinks were some of worst we've had. I ordered an old fashioned and not only was it totally watered down but there was no flavor whatsoever. My wife ordered a drink and it was super sweet and almost had a syrup like consistency. Maybe we just went on an off day but we unfortunately did not have a good experience. When cocktails are this pricey you definitely expect better quality then this. read more

Each time I've been there, the bartenders have been nothing but professional and super friendly! They get things done in a timely fashion and never fail to impress me with their service and willingness to make unique drinks! The atmosphere is super great too! I would like to base this review on what my cocktail was like, but since I never had a chance to order I'm just going to base it on the service, or complete and total lack of it. It's 2022 so please don't assume that a woman who wants to order a drink at a bar is: Invisible. Doesn't know what she wants. Doesn't tip. I tip 20% as a norm especially since COVID. I waited as not one or two people were waited on before me, but a third that came in well after I did. When I pointed it out, your ridiculous pretense of shock in not seeing me was...pathetic. Flagstaff is a little town with great small businesses, so please do better. Tourist Home, Shift, Brix, Oeno, FLG Terroir, Annex Cocktail Lounge, Juice Pub, Foret are just a few that combine quality food and drink with great customer service. You don't. read more

Now this place is the bees knees! Favorite bar I went to in flagstaff by far. The atmosphere is great. The music, the people, the bartenders, their drink menu. I loved it all. Its loked at hotel monte vista. I tried to explore other bars while being in flagstaff foe the weekend but saw myself going back to this place and wanting to stay. All the drinks were great! We didn't go there with high expectations, but when drinks were $25 a pop, we expected quality. Not only was one drink subpar, but the other one we ordered was partially premixed. We travel for quality drinks and have no problem paying for them. The issue is the fact that they charge super premium pricing with pre mixed ingredients and low quality execution. read more

My husband and I visited this bar on the ground floor of the historic Monte Vista hotel. We would have visited earlier but we thought it was only a coffee shop. Rendezvous was festive and packed. There were 3 nonalcoholic non-coffee mocktail drinks on the menu, and they were out of the ingredients for two of them. I ordered one called Not a Spritz. The menu said the ingredients were seedlip, watermelon, watermelon oleo, and tonic. It was quite tasty. The service was fine. I like the ambiance. We plan to return. read more

TERRIBLE! Never to return. This was one of the best watering holes on Planet Earth and then THEY FIRED THE STAFF!!! This has been one of my very frequent haunts for years when visiting Flagstaff because of the unique chemistry of the Rendezvous team. I really cannot believe that I never really paid attention to the name of the bar in the Monte Vista. I honestly always referred to it as the lobby bar at the Monte Vista but during my recent stay, I realized the bar name was on the cocktail menu. Rendezvous... after the more than dozen times I've been to this bar be it for drinks in the evening or for a coffe/latte in the morning, I never glanced at the name. My BF and I stay at the Monte Vista in downtown Flagstaff every time we are in town for boarding trips. It's our favorite hotel in town not to mention it conveniently has Rendezvous as a bar in the main lobby. This bar has awesome bartenders and a unique cocktail menu loaded with one-of-a-kind drinks. For whatever reason, Rendezvous at the Monte Vista is one of my favorite places ever. Maybe it's the atmosphere, the open setting with a view of the passerby's and the lit up town, the great service and bartenders, the drinks (both cocktails and coffee), the great music playing or all of that together as a whole. It's one of my favorite parts of my Flagstaff trips and we make sure to have drinks at this bar every evening during our stay and we have a latte in the morning and sometimes a delicious pastry from a local bakery they have for purchase as well every morning (the ham and cheese croissants are delish)! It's no surprise this bar is jam-packed in the evening. It's well worth the short wait you may have because those drinks are more than worth it. Thanks Rendezvous for being so damn perfect. I have lived in Flagstaff for 23 years. I deeply love my community and especially our downtown bars and restaurants. The Rendezvous has been one of my go-to spots over the years. My friends in the hospitality industry have recently cautioned me against patronizing this establishment. I have resisted gossip and always tried to be fair. Tonight my sister and I were treated so poorly I am compelled to leave a review. It was so bad, that I'm awake at midnight (waaaay past my bedtime). From the moment we sat down the bartender was aloof. We were patient and kind. We joked about the not-our-taste music (3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Creed, etc). Zero humor ... we were told 'I don't choose the music.". Welp, ok. Not what one might expect from a hopping bar on a Friday night. When we were ready to leave, we patiently waited to catch anyone's eye to settle our tab. I was able to talk to the bar back and ask for our check. He responded with an absurd eye roll and "that's not my job." I pushed back and asked if he could direct us to the proper person.. He ignored me. Next thing we know, the bartender is on the other side of the bar inviting us to leave. Seriously unclear on how this escalated so quickly. Bottom line: Locals will tell you that this bar does not reflect the values of our town. Based on tonight I 100% agree. If you are looking for a bar that is inclusive, fun, and kind downtown... I will suggest: Oeno, FLG Terroir, The Annex, Historic and Mother Road. We all work hard for our money and it should go to businesses that respect their patrons. read more

The french cafe inspired decor is warm and welcoming and the layout with counters along the windows is a great setting for people watching or warming up while you eye the weather.
